there's official open season on them, if you see one, you need to kill it. Best way is to pour some kinda cleaning fluid on them. Most places here that have a backyard leave a bottle of dettol by the back door.

I've used a Razer Nari for awhile, the base version is ~150 USD, the Lite is ~90. Nice wireless headset, over ear. I've also been using a SteelSeries Arctis 7 set for a couple months, and its on par with the Nari, goes for ~150.

It started as a return to the first days of Rainbow with a small team, set in specific scenarios, starting with a planning phase, then to action phase, and trial and error or finding out what works and what doesnt. Instead it turned into being player vs player focused, with insane and over the top "powers" that each operator has. Its not even really Rainbow anymore. Just my opinion as I am sure others would love to prove me wrong but yeah...

As "Siege" (its own IP) it works and can be enjoyable, but as a Rainbow game its laughable at best.

To better answer your question though without my ranting lol, think of it as a "less" fantasy "more" grounded Hero-Shooter (akin to Overwatch), with two teams of players with a defend/attack centered mission objective, with Operatives/Heroes bringing their own skills/powers to the battle.

Worse in my opinion, as it only proves they are milking the franchise any way they can. Clancy would be rolling in his grave if he seen how his ideas have been reduced to "Lets do it even if it makes no sense. Why? Because it makes us money." At least he tried to keep most his work and ideas more in the realm of reality instead of high-fantasy.

Over time it became more "action shooter" than "tactical shooter". Granted, some IP's need to adapt to the market to be successful but if its at the expense of what made the game great to begin with, just make a new IP instead of jumping on the coattails of another franchise.

I just have to keep looking back at the Witcher series and how broken it was before it was near-perfected into its current state. Its an awesome series, and I really like the direction they took everything.

Alucard like i said is an awesome and well made character, but Seras is who really steals the show. She kinda is the "apprentice to become master" but the way they do it is so well done imo. Got to give the writers props for it.

Of course Anderson is the classic lovable hero/antihero.. the series does a good job at mixing the two. Cant recommend the series enough tbh.

Yeah there's always a thing about builds in games
they all have stuff that makes then really good
but then you gotta go through the challenges so you can get the gear
and usually it takes weeks to do so

well for me as I'm not a speedrunner

An example, Destiny 2
there's Lament, a really good sword exotic and basically shreds a lotta things

but you have to do the exotic quest

The Division 2
I got all the HF gear
and even a chameleon exotic
but then I gotta farm to optimize stuff
and not to mention ridgeway's pride
and scorpio
and the other gear I gotta get to complete ridgeway's pride and other content in general

Elsword's character progression is grind in objectives, but the progression is quite simple in terms of stuff like equipment
Destiny 2 is another example, tedious quests, grand rewards
The Division 2 is a large assortment of grinding, just for trying to make a decent build
Warframe is grindy especially for mods, essential in builds
Path of Exile is a grind in terms of currency items, rolls, and even XP on some cases
and yeah

Yup, games are getting grindy AF, on the other hand if they're not grindy enough people will eventually drop it. Grindy games mean more player base attachment in the eyes of the devs/pubs. An alternative to keep the player base engaged without all the grind is to release more content periodically to have players come back often to the game, but content creation is expensive so I don't know of many studios able/willing to do that.

Yeah it's like thousands of hours of exploration, quests, dungeons, etc

People that play the game really appreciate the amount of content it has

So it's worth checking if you're into rpgs, but again it's not grindy so you don't get all the addictive loot

Also, it's one of the few games that actually gives you freedom and you can be as creative as you want with your avatar... eg you can equip a heavy armor on a mage and the game won't penalize you, so you can have fun your own way

Honestly I still feel Girls Frontline's lore is a bit closer to Division's with conspiracy and the collapse fluid which makes areas similar to the Dark Zone.

Arknights is a bit more of a segregated place with infected/non infected and while yes the Originum plague can be considered a pandemic its more of a social divide than anything.

#

That being said, ofc those Sankta folk like Executor and Exusiai are closest what with their race being the only ones legally allowed to own guns.

The BSW operators like Jessica and Liskarm however also fit lol

The rest really just use magic and crossbows.

Joker still has the wildcard so he can take other personas for combat, Ryuji can charge his swings for more damage, Ann can imbue her whip with fire, Yusuke has a timed physical (?) deflect, Morgana can turn into a car, Makoto can imbue some of her strikes with nuclear (and ride johanna) and Haru can "continue" some of her attacks for more damage

Showtime is cool too, you charge the showtime meter to do a cutscene attack for massive damage (each character has their own showtime bar & attack, its pretty cool)

Back when I played it, that was true in terms of "class" builds as sure there are "meta" builds but it was more fun for me to just play it how I wanted as it (like most ES games) is pretty lenient on players choice in that regard.

Its purposely slow-ish to give weight of the weapons for one.. and even in ESO (being an mmo and all) it still has that same feel to a degree.

Its not terrible, but there is a difference of swinging a two handed axe compared to a shortsword/dagger
