@hollow tinsel i watched the video, you misunderstood what the ai did, it just served as a fast calculator like a quantum computer would, it didnt "decide" anything, it just made calculation faster, you dont just put a prompt and it says stuff, it didnt analyse anything, its the same as an excel sheet but far bigger

when talking about real life molecules/atoms, the possibilies are endless, thats why u need to have a computer do the work, cause you cant do it by hand, but the work stays the same

Or do you mean "each part of the weapon can be swapped out with different parts", but that would require a lot of extra model work, with making them all fit together and not clip like crazy.
If you plan on having both, why would AI be needed to calculate what we already can by hand?

you're talking about ai helping but its only and ONLY for calcs that are so demanding in computing power that it would takes millenia to do them on our hardware

you can have 8 millions mods on div 3 it would still not require ai

that calculation can be done by a random calc you get in school

you vastly underestimate the sheer amount of calc needed for the science stuff talked about in the video compared to whats being done on an everyday level

its like comparing an ant to the sun

and especially the fac that you talk about using ai with no clear goal about what it should do it a major sign you dont know what ai does at all

the only thing ai does right now, is fast calculation and pattern recognition

they cant tell you whats balanced or whats the possiblities for mods on guns/gear in the game
