After seeing some early playtests vids of XDefiant, and if it actually delivers on what has been shown, I feel it should take R6 Siege's place and let Rainbow 6 go back to being.. well.. be Rainbow 6 again. After what they did to my boy.. I miss a proper Rainbow title.

Outbreak was a simulation in siege which isn’t a spin off and rather a main title

Ladies and gents.. Ubi might have a really good game on their hands. Finally got off work to give XDefiant a few hours and, I must say if you like old school arena shooters, then this is one to keep an eye on.. If they dont screw it up. Im having a blast so far.

The gunplay and movement however in both Wildlands and Breakpoint is unparelled

If i could have the brutal take downs in GRFW in Breakpoint's updated playstyle mechanics, id be really happy

Its parkour for one is hands down the best. Control wise. It was so easy to use, and you could pull off insane stuff with it in and out of combat.

@flint agate 🤔 hmm.. I didn't have that issue. I use 600dpi on all my fps games, didn't need to change my in-game settings at all for the resolution I play at. I use a 100 fov at 3440x1440 and it felt great to me.

Being a closed beta a setting might be goofed on yours possibly. It didn't add any mouse acceleration in the game settings on yours did it?

It feels like I really have to drag my mouse alot. Had to turn on mouse acceleration to just turn quick enough

But there doesn't seem to be strafing as much. Movement feels really really stiff

In any case. Didnt enjoy it tbf

Games are too short. Playing the zone mode as defender is hell. Maps are too small and also have terrible pathing and sight lines.

they are fixing the lack of content (Countdown is out, Descent is upcoming), but you shouldn’t get Div 2 if you want similar gameplay to Div 1

With most mice now days, thats honestly all you need to worry about on the keyboard in most fps games. Switching weapons, alt fire modes/grenades, PTT for voip/discord... all that stuff is on my extra mouse buttons.

Left hand/keyboard is nearly for pure movement input for me.

Steam has free programs/games you can use to practice aiming and movement. At least they used to be on there. I havent checked in a while.

If Aim lab is still on there use it for getting used to the mouse. Dont know any movement trainers off the top of my head though.

Granted it does have movement and aiming levels/courses you can use. But I never tried that part of the program myself.

I just used the aim modes for warming up before playing MW2 or Battlefield

After too damn long of forcing myself through it.. I finally beat AC Valhalla. But, please tell me im not the only one who thinks they really screwed the pooch on the game's story direction. SPOILERS for those that care

• Desmand is the Reader. VA is a dead giveaway ignoring so much more evidence, kind of a given really, but making Layla the new Eve to his Adam so to speak felt.. lackluster. Maybe because this trilogy was so poorly implemented story wise. Idk maybe its just me.

Eivor's story was awesome btw, my complaint is how seriously neglected the modern day portion has been treated over literal years by this point. Ya know, the whole "reason all this is happening and leading up to" story bits..

I guess I just wish Ubi would re-evaluate what Desmond meant to the fan base and give the series a much needed injection of someone to fill those shoes.. because honestly nothing has came close. The history characters have been overall great, but give us another Desmond level modern protag story and adventure. Meh I digress. Ill shut up now. lol

Speaking of Mice, oddly enough my current AW720M has been holding its own. (Not my go to but I test mice from time to time.. its the current.) But I still have my Logi G903, Its easily the best mouse out there imho. Software is, like anyone, hit or miss but hardware wise they did shit right. Plenty of buttons, response is great, and the overall mouse feel is good too.
