That's where the 1886 rifle version shines again. Wider awareness, faster firing, (usually) enough damage to still 1 shot most things. In group the HP scales a bit too much for it to really stay viable though.

There's pros and cons to both BTSU and Birdie's. Their use depends a lot on the team.

If the team is lying flat on their faces all the time you will not have time for BTSU, it the team can hold their own and you have time to actually support, then BTSU is probably the better choice.

If they pooled damage and stacked up to as close to 60 chance instead, they'd be looking at around 51/55 : 125 - 145

10% crit chance from watch
15% from weapon mods
12% from 2 max mods

37% crit chance immediately

Now pretend they're using Overdogs and Ceska

8 Ceska + 12 from ODogs + Ceska sub attribute + 37 from prior = 57% crit chance

Oh cool, I honestly use the striker chest with salvo and Overdogs on my striker. (Yes, I know that I should use equalizer because easier to gain damage, BUT I usually use my striker for escalation and countdown, nothing else, so stacking the 300 stacks with my stack broker is easier. Plus my proto salvo give me extra 7,5% ROF, the other 5% ROF from the brand of course.)

I think you have to skip it for now, you can still get the new mask if you join someone who has done the puzzle but not killed the hunter yet, but to get the old one you need to wait for the devs to fix it as far as I know

Yeah countdown and the summit are just to farm. They get old quick. Id say just try out new builds and try to do the hunter puzzles. There's a bunch of commendations you could do which are like a point system when you achieve something... i think its like the milestone system in destiny?

After you get good gear, you might want to do a raid or incursion

The issue isn't that it has to be "meta" or whatever, the problem is that if you are playing difficult content, then using random gear bits thrown into a blender is making your team carry you.

If I join a say, Tier 8 Escalation and someone has a bad build on, I know it's going to take way longer than it would've otherwise.

I didn't think it was possible, but they somehow made a GE worse than SHD Exposed.

Corrosive Shell takes the worst part of Hollywood and the second half of Battle Of Brooklyn and turns it into a damn nightmare on any activity above Challenging (or Hard for that matter)

Burning status plus lowered armor capacity just for standing too close when breaking an enemy shield is just... no.

Can't get close enough for Scorpio to be effective, so OD is the only option

Start with lower tiers to get comfortable with it especially if it is someone else's tokens being spent. T0 is basically Heroic, then it scales from there. They hit hard as you increase tiers. 🙂
