Once you are shd 1000 all your shd points go to scavenging. Stack them and wait for a 3x proficiency event. Then buy printer filaments. You need 400 scavenging points to level 100 items

Currently it doesn'tt really help at all since you only get 1 max roll for upgrading to proto. What i meant was by being able to get proto immediately, you essentially trivialize most of the content in this game. Thus progression is dead.

fair but I personally hated the expertise grind. it just boiled down to farming stuff then sacrificing them which felt really boring to me compared to just hoping for a good drop

However I just remember part of the fun of this game was having bad builds and working over months to get better gear and grind stuff and get better at legendary etc. With a max proto striker set you can literally run through tidal basin legendary without taking cover once.

Based from what i know

Repair Skill will affects each heal from your skill (e.g. from Hive, Drone Repair, Chem Reinforcer, etc.)
Skill Repair will affects your total heal which means the heal number from your skills

For example

If your heal skill can heal 100k and using 100% repair skill, it will be 200k each (100% from 100k)

Using reformation (60% Skill Repair), these 200k can heal further to 320k each (60% from 200k which is 120k)
