The Token system for escalation just hit home hard, hosting 5 runs at T5 cost me 20 a run with a profit of 4 per run, FOUR! Some of the guys in the runs should still be in story mode ffs! All the risk and very little reward for the host.

The damage total you deal is not super indicative of what your actual damage was, if you're talking about the mission end screen.

Kills are in a similar boat, as it's not that hard to pump up those stats with proxies, and stealing kills.

Disclaimer tho: you do not have to speed run to get good drops either.

If you farm normal gear set, you pick up so many that you probably don't notice how many rainbows you might get. But protos are rare so if you get back luck rolls, you notice it more and it sticks in your mind.

From my experience, It took me about 120 proto cores to get my first proto build going. Either im super unlucky or escalation drops are coded to be more likely to be other stats other than the main core

you're somewhat punishing yourself with a sniper on striker, because striker relies on maintaining a high stack count via high fire rate. a dedicated sniper build does tens of millions in comparison. you're better off having separate builds for each weapon

The shotgun builds striker stacks quickly because each pellet counts as a stack. The ACS is the shotgun with the highest firerrate

In Escalation Tier 10, the token gains and losses between the leader and group members are ridiculously disparate.
The risk of being a leader is too high, so nobody wants to play in public matches.
It's much more efficient and less risky to collect cores by getting 25 tokens as a group member and buying 5 cash.
The developers must know this, right?
