So after finishing American History Museum you exit through the gate and turn right. Then you just cross the road and Kitsunebi spawn there but they are behind the door and do not come out. You just stand by that door, they die and you get all the loot and sakura keys. I did that yesterday multiple times. But I tried today, kitsunebi spawn, die but no more loot. Anyone experienced that?

I got quickstep yesterday from a cache but I used over 200 keys so far

Fixed exploits and in return buffed key rates, I've gotten on average 1 key per squad as I've been going thru the Lanterns yesterday and today, and so far gotten 5-6 quicksteps over the duration of the event, it is RNG but also a way to get quickstep without relying on others kindness.

It definitely is faster to get out of Houndsman bounty if you find one.

But overall Key rates are fine if you are doing open world content/Escalations on DC missions and inbetween clear the near guaranteed spawns of Kitsunebi squads.

Everytime you interact with a lantern, a kitsunebi squad is queued to spawn. If they don't spawn, you won't be able to interact with the next lantern. You can "force" them to spawn by visiting some of the popular spawn spots if they did not spawn between your lanterns

It depends on the tier you are trying to matchmake for. 5 and under usually works pretty fast but for high tier most people like a pre made group vs matchmaking

Was just wondering what else there is to pass my time? In case I get bored of summit and countdown what’s some other loot to chase, builds to make? The weird thing is, two map expansions have been added, as well as coney island and also pentagon - yet somehow when the topic comes up, these don't interest people, almost like new maps don't actually matter and what is actually wanted is new gear with predictable locations to simplify farming. Ideally that gear is both not meta but also meta, because that makes sense, somehow.

Not to go out on a limb, but I am not sure folks actually always mean what they say, or actually know what they genuinely want. Maybe you do? Great. But that'd be the exception.

When you say you can activate them, do you mean start field research or actually equip the class

The year 1 pass lets you access them all instantly on any character, otherwise you have to complete said field research for every class

On my alt i can equip the class, but cant progress anything except the original 3. Everything on my main is maxed, but i havent completed the field researches of anything yet.(Came back 5ish weeks ago with whatever the fancy addition is, previously played on Xbox at release.)

Progress doesn't carry over across characters so they have to be levelled again per character

if you are wanting more sets, Tipping scales performs very well, and heartbreaker is a distant third but far easier to solo in. Refractor imo is the best skill build because of all the support it provides while still dishing out decent damage

So many people start the run too fast as people are joining, not allowing them to make a decision whether they wanna run that specific esca or nah

You have to unlock the tiers for yourself you can’t just join someone on tier 10 then have it unlocked for yourself

No, sorry, I was clearing it weekly via matchmaking since proto came out a few weeks ago. Obviously it's not as straightforward as countdown on challenging since that's brain-dead easy. Not sure anyone would expect it to be.

If you prefer the premade party experience then you can stick to that but clearing through MM is pretty easy with minimal effort if you know what you're doing. Yes, people will leave if they think the odds of success with the current group are low. I don't the same now.

The only thing I could see them fixing is if it was actually adding an extra stack of augment otherwise if you’re using a standard weapon and it’s prototype and another weapon, that’s also prototype from the same family category I don’t see the problem

Tinker fix would be to allow the existing behaviour to work with proto; ie the two primary effects working. Currently it doesn't because proto isn't included as a valid option (in the same way named or exotic isn't).
