Heroic to legendary is a much larger jump than from challenging to heroic, that would be why. Legendary NPC behaviour is fundamentally different.

I farmed legit for a few hours earlier.. just doing lantern and stuff.. I had about 20 keys.. yes, the drop rate could have been higher and ronins rarely spawned but that should be fixed now. It was still doable just fine, not as obscene as 500 keys in 30 mins but still you could get stuff. but 30% increase is definitely a good thing.

heartbreaker is a set that gives bonus armor as you are putting bullets into enemies tha are pulsed. But for starter Heartbreaker has it's mechanics.. the bonus armor generation has a "cooldown" so you can't generate more stacks of bonus armor while you have full heartbreaker stacks. It's an interesting set but not something I would start you with. Just do blue 2-3 blue core striker, try to get memento and chest with obliterate and you are cruising through challenging.

Lexi is good .. so put killer on it. St. Elmos is nice for those shock rounds that will come in clutch sometimes and it has CHC/CHD on the gun as well but i would say probably Lexi with killer is your safest choice. If you ahve issues with CHC to be close to 50%, use an SMG

that's why i told you.. CHC is important to proc the crits, but don't go sacrificing the CHD too much as that is a source of damage too. SMGs have inherent max 21% CHC attribute. So they easily cap you and then you can have max CHC easy and good CHD. Especially since you probably don't have a lot of high CHC mods. Just something to keep in mind. There are good SMGs out there and you can put optimal range on them and they will hit as an AR basically .

I just did some NBA. Timed it and takes me 4 min on challenging with 4 directives. You get 4 shd levels per run during this 3x xp event. Proficiency caches get full quickly. So with fast traveling you can easily get like 40 levels in 1 hour farming. But man it gets boring like a daytime job. So I'd rather enjoy control points

Legit, the blueprints say do CP alert lv 3 and I do control points in retal and get nothing. Don't even get blueprints from projects anymore. Season blueprints and set/brands from other seasons or just says to do them on Alert lvl 3 and still nada

You need to run around as the host for at least 10 minutes and then spawn the squad. Once you’ve defeated them, Ronins carrying keys will spawn. If you’re on your own, it’s highly likely that only one will spawn, and there’s no guarantee of keys. It’s different when playing as a team, and if you activate the lamps, you can also trigger the Ronins.

With the xp boost I'd say control points would probably be quickest. Ideally heroic. Heroic with as many directives as you can manage, challenging will also work albeit with a dip in xp.

Well I managed to get a proto first bloom with Paradox ...not sure what augment to chase for it, but happy I got one nonetheless
