Today I learned that exotics aren’t always the best choice of weapons. I picked up a near godroll Cuélebre, maxed it out, ran Legendary Summit, and cleared the floors with such ease it could make me cry

Heck, I could swap Scorpio out with Cuelebre. It’s just so much more efficient overall

@plain rune igot both the sheriff and the catalyst mask off heroic modes so they do drop eventually.....cant remember but id guess roughly 20 attempts on each of them but its pure rng...you might get lucky

Catalyst is not related to the Master Manhunts at all, you can't do that mission higher then Heroic.

The reason to run the Manhunts that have it available on Master Difficulty, is that on your first run for that character, it's a 100% drop chance.

@faint hedge named caches also a good source for it so you could try countdown 1st as its easily the most accessible to farm....plus you could spend countdown points on named caches if you dont need them for optimisation caches....so you ve got 2 chances for 1

But, nothing else is really interesting me

Let me put it to you fondly. There's A LOT for you to do. First, focus on getting your base level to 40, if you haven't already used the booster. Secondly, focus on your SHD level. Get that to a 1000 as fast as you can, so you can compete with the rest of us. Finally, farm Retaliation and Countdown. You'll get a lot of good loot to start you off on the good ol build bracket.

Firstly, and most importantly, do everything in groups. You'll get assisted really well.

I'd activate all world directives except for Pistolero. Each directive adds a modification to the game world, that increases difficulty, alongside XP. Maximize that and do primarily missions or farm Landmarks in the DZ.
