Look in terms of what, look at the M1928 the Thompson SMG, it is really good, if you get around the stack building for Striker.
And the White Death is probably one of the highest single target damage snipers out there, but you don't need that for most of the enemies. Tactical .308 is fine for most stuff and plays way better than the White Death.

There is no definite answer in most cases, it always depends on your build and how much convenience/utility you want.

The only place I think it could possibly work, is manhunts.

As you work through the manhunt objectives, pissing off various enemies, they appear in the finale. So while you have 2 or 3 manhunt objectives you have to complete to access the finale, the more you do the harder it gets.

I think so? Unsure the names of them offhand. Make sure you get both DLCs. Anything else is really optional. There's pack for like instantly unlocking/maxing some specialization and stuff, but they're not required.
