Countdown is a mode that was introduced a few seasons ago it's is the perfect place to farm gear since you can choose it challenging and heroic are the difficulty you want to choose and you can matchmake in 20 minutes you backpack will be full depending if you pick up the gear and how it goes

tbh I keep my open world at chall, but when matchmaking or missions Ill usually run heroic.

The one time I chose to dive into assaulting the last point was right after THAT FRAKKING WALKIN’ DED ENGIE nailed me while I was trying to get away and take out the kill squad sent after me on my way to the last point.

I went from 10 minutes to 2 minutes by the time I got back to the last point, I got hit and surrounded by foamers, assault troops and point men- barely got up in time from my hive before I died again because I was being bullied relentlessly.

Just to avoid confusion: there's 2 different types of Exotic blueprint.
1 is the reconfigure one, where you can "re-roll" your current Exotic. the other one is a crafting one, where you can make one from scratch.

I’ve been an on & off player for five years, I have nearly everything in the library at maximum or have nearly every talent stamped in—

But most of my gear I’ve been was I’ve had saved up or kept over the times, did summit some, wasn’t satisfied with what I got.

Haven’t tried countdown yet as I’m mainly a solo player and most of my friends don’t play, same for two- one of them is a veteran though.

I’m liking retal a lot but I feel it’s a me issue that’s making me trip and skip sometimes, especially at the ending route.

You are most likely lacking a good build, as Retal on Chall (the default lower difficulty for the endgame of div2), will have you finishing with multiple minutes to spare.
You should definitely give Countdown a go; run it on Challenging, pick your TL, and matchmake.

Challenging has been my “normal” way to play since I finished up on Warlords the first time.

I’ve rarely changed it, even for retal.

And keep all enemies in a firing lane in front of you

That’s saved me plenty too, plus reload delaying and hot swapping so I can use my other guns before my LMG reloads.

It helps in saving the frenzy boon for bigger targets or those lined up at a certain spawn door i remember.

Obligatory: make sure your guns are being modded right, the tl;dr on them is just throw crit chance mods in every slot, and the +20 mag size. You'll never go wrong with those on a dps setup.

Accuracy is when your reticule blooms out as you shoot, Stability is vertical kick.

weapon handling (WH) is not a bad stat, but you need your crit sorted out first, and chc in div2 caps at 60%.

Any LMG you use should have CHC as the third attribute.

It should have 3x crit chance weapon mods and the gunner pouch.

And I bumped her range to 53.

My SAW has headshot damage for its small attribute and ranger, with a range buff of 70 if I give her an ACOG.

striker relies on one very important thing: building up your striker stacks, and then using those stacks to kill.
an LMG at the best of times is going to be rough with that, but especially if it's lacking crit stats.

It kinda sounds like you are looking for a different gearset, to go with that LMG.

you know, OD would suit you really well. No need for stack building, just kill something with a status applied, and you get bleed bullets.

works incredibly well on LMG's.

It's poisonous in that for years, it was considered absolute trash.

IIRC it's had a bit of a come-up in recent times.

Most of the time in div2, a high-end (gold) gun would be far more useful for a build than an Exotic.
Exotic's kinda require a build based around them.

ARs are mostly used for strikers. Carbine 7/M4/Famas are most common

The short answer is no. DZ is known for a good exo comp farm. some items in dz are good, but most if not all are gainable in other more consistent ways.

syscor can be farmed from legacy crates, dz exclusive named from named or conflict crates and eb/rav and bh* (not sure about this, someone said bh was dz shrug) all obtainable more consistently in pve

and yaahl can be bought from clan vendor

drop rate rng values. an rng value has a set drop rate. the closer you get to the max attempts the more likely it drops till it just drops. its rng hard break. similar to guessing a password or number lock. youll get it eventually, odds arent random

the only time this isnt true is if the game using player interaction to decide rng value. I havent personally seen this in div.

Can be a mouse polling rate issue, if you've got custom mouse software try lowering it to 500 or lower

and CP's are not in the DZ.

and even if you do obtained it within the DZ, you need to extract it, which is a whole other problem.

You aren't guaranteed it after some fixed number of landmarks though, the chance overall of getting it might increase but the chance of any given drop stays the same regardless of how many you've done

I dont appreciate people who use "specific" terminology to make objections. in dz, there are various areas that grant recon flags, on completion. these areas are hard locked to diffculty value. difficulty values are hard locked enemy counts. both in waves and numbers.

It's important to remember as well, that there's no protection.
Each time you don't get it, you aren't closer to getting it, it's entirely random each attempt.

My assumption these days whenever someone has sudden stuttering issues is "crypto miner installed itself".

more common than you'd think, and some can hide themselves even from the Task Manager. Nothing is sacred.
