Did they change something for Heroic global setting? I have spent all my time after the newest update to just maintain and prevent attacks on my Control points. Literally spent 10+ hrs just defending. Constant waves of attacks. I have done all invaded missions and strongholds. How do I stop that from happening? Last week I had a completely attackless time, peaceful and no attacks. At this rate it's impossible to maintain the max global modifier buff of 30% ROF and Weapon attack.

you keep agitating the factions and they go into retaliation modes and you don't activate those for real time 6 hours they just take over the zone

I don't do activities other than control points. It's those small red pistol symbols that go to my control points and attack them, and take them that way. I've had retaliations active and finished and it didn't make a difference

Just checked my other character, that map is completely fine 100% taken by me on heroic mode, and no attacks coming. The character I am currently playing on, is a nightmare of attacks constantly. I went to sleep last night with 100% control, woke up 4-5 hour later and had 2 zones controlled by me, the rest was taken.

As I am playing now. I take 1 control point and lose 1-2 every time. Fighting a losing battle. Just cleared a control point and looking at the map, 4 of them are under attack, and so far every single one that I didn't manully defend has been taken by the hostiles. So how can I maintain the global buff?

Ok, so I noticed the same issue on my first character. I boosted straight to 40 and went and did Brooklyn straight away. Got done with that and came back the D.C.

None of my control points would hold green for any significant amount of time at all on that boosted character.

I’ve recently gone back and played the full game without any boosts on a new character. Now, all my control points hold green pretty much indefinitely as long as I do any retaliations that occur.

Pretty sure the boost is what’s causing yours to flip so fast.

I highly recommend you get the warlords of New York. It’s a little small expansion of the original story. It’s also a good place to grind out gear. Not only will you be able to do things they can be done in the original game, but you will also be able to collect for different SHD tech that you can’t obtain in the base game

Also, in terms of retaliations, I’m pretty sure you will be able to be able to do that as well

I've played it hundreds of times and smashed through to the end with plenty of time to go, even when it over spawns the enemies, decent players will run through it like a hot knife through butter, but then again its hard to find decent players nowadays, especially team players! right? 🤔

there's no advantage to doing the vip objective. best case scenario you finish it a little slower than another objective. worst case scenario you either run out of time or get really low on time.

countdown often has people with bad builds farming for good builds. obviously if most of your team is running meta dps none of this matters.

also it's historical. we have a lot of power creep now so everyone is super powerful. there used to be a time when most people didn't have good enough builds to cut through heroic countdown like butter.

lmg used to be garbage tier. 6pc high end was better than running striker. it was very different.

There's no disadvantage to it either, I play around 10 to 15 Countdowns per night and have never failed to extract due to doing VIP, (bugged or not) and that's also playing with low levels whose just there for the loot, me personally, I'm there for the tokens, last month I exchanged 100,000 tokens into exo's, and now back up to 45,000 tokens, now if VIP was a problem, I wouldn't touch it, although I don't select it, I just hit the nearest objective to me, if its VIP so be it 💥

So I played Summit for the first time ever. Played all floors on Challenging. Was pretty easy for the most part.

I am on floor 100. Is there some trick to beat the final bosses that just 3 hit kill me and have skill aimbot? I am running a DPS HF build. No idea what skills are worth even trying to use.

This was by far the dumbest addition to the game. Easy ass 99 floors and then a top floor that you cant solo unless you have a no life build....

those are hunters, they can disable your skills and can hack your attack skills (turrets, striker drone, etc.) against you
foam or fire grenade might be handy IMHO

but hunters are the hardest non boss enemies of the game

dont use automatic skills such as turret or drones because they can get hacked

they are however weak to status effect like most units

so you can stunlock them with the right items

due summit rework they are easier now if anyhthing

before you were forced to fight them on legendary only with random directives

they punish sloppy play, so dont give them opening

Mkay. They 3 shot me. Running HR with Chameleon and Coyote's mask. My armor is only 1.2mil but haven't needed it higher since I mow through everything once I get my damage momentum going.

What do they do to shields? Specifically the crusader shield.

Drop it on top of them and use the dodge roll they do to do a cover to cover also don't go into the actual room they spawn in

When I killed them I used a crit build with baker's dozen and slowly killed them over like 20 minutes

With the seasonal modifiers tho you'd probably be best using a dps build plus zealot or say cheese

Either dodge roll backwards or you can use firewall to get a very brief period where they're stunned by the burn you can use to get away (also has the benefit of cancelling their melee animation)

you can try to use the chem launcher firestarter and shoot at their spawn location just before you enter the room, then when they spawn just fire at them, so they will catch on fire, then you can try to use a foam grenade to immobilize them and start killing them, if you manage to take at least one of them out, you will have better chance to kill the second one in a 1-to-1 combat 🤔
keep in mind, they can heal themselves ⚠️

Totally disagree. They just need to be used properly. I've used them to get 30 minute solo legendary runs, and I'm not the best dps player. My clan mate has 11 minute solo legendary runs using them. They allow you to kill grenades and drones that hide behind cover, by just shooting dogs and mini-tanks. They are a total game changer. Are they useful in 4 player content, no. Are they useful against a boss, no. But everything has its place and it is very quick to swap 1 piece of gear.

You could run skill-crit, but then for solo the Acosta’s is just better, particularly if you can tolerate the hot-swapping. Otherwise you have to see what the group needs, there is also BTSU being run with CC or Oxidizer, or lately Refractor (but there again, have to weigh vs. Acosta’s).

mostly sidemissions, some are from buying a couple of persk from quartermaster, the rest tend to be part of the control points lv3-4 rewards

craft it once and any weapon that uses large muzzle category will have acess to them
