Since recent updates, I've noticed a lot of the issues have been fixed. I previously owned the game thru Ubisoft launcher but I went ahead and picked up the steam version when it was dirt cheap. I prefer steam since that's where 99% of my games are anyways

Every other time I tried to log into ubi launcher it would either fail, say I'm offline, or load up and then disconnect as soon as division 2 loaded. Extremely annoying. I've went as far as doing a full PC backup and reset, still did it. VPN, tested and failed. I swap to steam, zero issues whatsoever

Maybe a few bugs with the launcher at the time? Not a clue. I refuse to go back and see for sure if it's fixed or not lol

Yup I experienced the log-out thing too, fairly recently like a few months ago. Was part of my issue that the launcher would boot me offline randomly

They repackage files all the time, data optimisation as well as the additional files required for the final manhunt target + coms.

Bear in mind that in previous seasons the entire seasonal story content was datamined with the first PTS, they did things differently this time around by not adding the ending until today. Previously we knew what would be coming for all 4 targets plus the prime target atleast 3.5/4 months before hand..

If you also take files that need to be modified like clipping issues or changes to apparel you can't just add the modified file, often it's better to repackage and optimise. Siege does this annually to reconsolidate and free up space.

The issue here is how they managed their matchmaking system by introducing sbmm, it essentially destroyed the matchmaking algorithm for anyone that's smurfing, higher level/time played but still terrible.

I've played since day 1 (300 days played, no where near capable of being at the highest rank the game offers and yet my games are full of the most comp players) they don't recalculate it fast enough to determine that people are improving or don't belong in a certain "pool" of sweats. 🤣

And R6 plot, they started as a tactical classified team and ended up being some kind of airsoft team or whatever, while we got "the recruiter" (Deimos) before the recruiter was a thing in the division universe

She controls two robots, think of a cross between C3PO and Johnny 5. She's still present in the victory screen, UI and you can see her face reflecting off the screen she uses to operate them, just not on the "battlefield". If you kill the robot, she's rendered eliminated from the round.
