What Odder said, but it's also important to remember that Challenging and above only lets enemies drop gold/gearset/exotic loot, so no more purples.

If your running technician as your spec it's not a big deal since you won't need 6 skill cores from your gear anyways. But otherwise I'd just try swapping it with another brand you'll use anyways and get the empress on any other gear piece

Yeah it's just you can mix up those to any slot other than the exotic one ya know. Maybe you get better rolls on some things vs others and you can have better build without optimizing ya know. Depends on your luck.

I know tons of amazing players who quit and gave their accounts away to start over fresh, they never had an issue with the watch not being there.

It matters for efficiency, but I've been running Heroic since sub 100 SHD level and one-shotting with a unoptimized Headhunter build prior to SHD 200.
10% of the time is spent on getting 90% of the build. 90% of the time are spent on perfecting it. 1000 SHD is a nice to have, not need to have.
