Go inside your base, to the left down the hall and find the annoying leather-making lady who sits at the crafting table. She has the blueprint for recalibrating exotics, buy the st elmo recalibration blueprint. Go to crafting bench, click in to weapons and I think recalibration is at the bottom of those categories. Find the weapon, select to recalibrate it and craft. If you aren't happy with the rolls you just craft again as long as you have materials.

Note that your current weapon will be destroyed and replaced with the rerolled one, so you can't go back to the original, you just have to recalibrate until you are happy.

I recalibrated mine until it had almost completely maxed out stats, and the 3rd attribute was 'damage to target out of cover'. The 2 first ones won't change. Then just optimised it to max stats on the 1 attribute that was missing a % or two. I had loads of materials so I just kept rolling prob 6-7 times before I got it right.

Yes, the whole weapon will be destroyed and a completely new weapon will be crafted. You can not change single attributes on exotics, you have to roll the dice on the whole weapon. When the attributes are right and fairly decently rolled you just optimise for the rest 😊

Make sure you don't have a full inventory whilst doing this as there is or was a bug that could make the weapon disappear when recalibrating if your bag is full.

what is levelling it up is making items "Proficient", you can see a little meter on loot that gets filled up and caps out at Rank 10.

I would say solo is best for loop 1-10. For higher loops, it's more efficient to be in a group so each agent can camp a door and kill enemies as soon as they come out.

Its very dumb you can full auto assault rifles but the spread pattern of rifles eliminates you from semi auto dispatching enemies.
