there will never be a game as fun as wildlands was for me and I arrived late to that party. I missed out on the events, etc where you had to find different things to get a cosmetic reward and so on. the Yeti hunt was awesome. The Predator thing... scared me half to death the first time.

oh there is no way to compare the two. Div2 has been a game I have hated to love and love to hate. I really hope Div 3 only builds on this game. I just want to feel immersed like Div1 did. More people on the streets, people waving at you from their wondows. the harshness of the winter weather and so on. but yea, div2 is clutch, despite the pc crashes, etc

For me, I don't want to compare d1 and d2. it almost feels like totally different games. 1 was gritty, harsh, a kick in the huevos rancheros. underground, survival, daily and weekly hvt's, last stand, the legendaries were and are insane, lmb will slap your momma. Builds are difficult to do unless u grind for classifieds, the commendations are an absolute grind, the apparel is so amazing. yea, two different games, imo

That is where I tap out and have to take others opinion on that. I never played those titles. My only experience with R6 was I think the first one on pc. Where you can give roe commands, make the path they would take from room to room. I have heard this repeated often though and it seems like Ubisoft really broke the mold and just never progressed from there. When I play FC games, GR, etc, they all feel the same. Same engine and even Heartland feels like a step back in graphics and movement. Even with sliding and melee, it feels awkward. Plus, I am NOT a fan of spending time looking for stuff only to see it has been looted by someone else.

If you have a crit build like 3 piece providence, fox kneepads, ceska or grupo piece and contractor gloves, then use a famas. Use the 5% wep handling optic, stability grip and 20% stability suppressor and watch that bad boy sing. Stability keeps the weapon level where accuracy as far as I understand it, is good for semi auto

There’s lots of ways to get loot in the game, especially from doing open-world stuff. Once you reach level 40, then you can do stuff like countdown (which is a great place to get loot you’re looking for)

You can set which type of loot you’re wanting to get more of.
Like say you want to farm for assault rifles. Set your targeted loot to them and you’ll be getting alot of them for sure.

Tarkov is probably the best looter shooter right now, but it's plagued with cheaters right now. It's unfortunate that every wipe they do a new update, and the cheater business gets new cheats out, and it takes BSG a long time to get rid of them. Tarkov will never be cheater-free, but it's just sad that a game with no real ending has some of the most cheating in it.

im halfway through the heartland trailer, and while I see the survival aspect, I think one thing that's missing is the shooting skill part, and I think that's what makes Tarkov so much fun is that the shooting part takes actual aim-skill and not just a point and dump rounds on target type which I view division that way. I get it though that division is trying to be RPG where enemies are going to take a lot of damage in order to kill, but it would be neat to see heartland go more the style of shooting like Tarkov, but I doubt that will ever happen.

What makes Tarkov unique is that their ballistics mechanics are unique. You've got stats for ammo, you've got stats for the guns, and then you've got the actual shooting mechanics which include recoil, sway, etc. All of that together creates a simulated realism.

one thing i think many games, especially the AAA ones, should learn from Tarkov is the entire draw to tarkov is that you're playing an RPG leveling up your character, questing, etc, and each raid you go into, there's the potential threat of real players near you that could kill you on sight. No other game does that. If the games like Division, COD, Battlefield, etc, made survivial quest modes with pvpve in it, where when you're killed, you lose what you have on you at the time, that's what would draw people in. It's like DayZ but better.

What they're talking about is a cheese where you somehow widen your FOV using the shield with a scoped weapon. Can't exactly remember how it works, allow you to see more and peek over stuff while your character is still behind something so the enemies can't hit you.

That's my issue with div 2 when it comes to that compared to div1, you're forced to farm out to at least 1000 shd levels to be even in the same boat as everyone nowadays in pvp before you step there otherwise you'll get overwhelmed

Now they introduced elmos with shock ammo and they reverted the changes and still this is the most broken gun by far in PVP. The current PTS does not change absolutely nothing for PVP. The proper way to contac the devs about any issues is to send in a support ticket, but yeah the PTS PvP section is the best spot to leave feedback.

Cheating is a mess of a topic in online games, as it's a cat vs mouse game.
It's impossible to make a catch all detection system. Cheat-makers will find a way - so devs are following after cheaters.
Then, on top of that, it's usually better to ban in waves rather than daily, as that will reduce the knowledge cheat-makers get from what is actually detected.

There's a difference between discussing it with fellow community members and addressing it. You can address it in the PTS channel, clearly say "This is an issue, because of x, therefore please do y".
