If you wanna use your meme builds, do it in solo. The incursions are coop missions and you are expected to not bring your group down. If your damage is low (like it is when using 3pc striker, ninjabag, and 2pc umbra) you will likely be asked to change gear. Have fun, but if your damage is not there, dont throw a fit. Simply keep a 4pc strikers, ceska, coyote's mask build in your inventory and swap to it when its needed.

I've had way too many people go into the incursion expecting their 2r/2b/2y build with no crit and no shield to shred, just for them to cry here for the incursion's difficulty to be nerfed. Its hard, but can be cleared quite comfortably by a half decent group. Bringing meme builds is never good unless your team is okay with it. Just a waste of time for anyone involved.

If an item doesnt have both? If it has one correct attribute and one wrong one, you can use Recalibration to put the correct attribute onto the item. If it is a chestpeice or a backpack it will have a talent, which also needs to be correct, and since you can only recalibrate one attribute or talent on a given item, you have to look for a "2/3" for those peices- which is why some have started to use the Striker's chest more often, due to it having only one possible talent and only one attribute slot.

SMGs have good damage but hefty range penalties. A word of warning, though, never trust the inventory's damage screen, the one that appears when you select one of your weapons. It takes the single hit damage of the selected gun, but ignores ROF. You could have a gun that does 10000000000 dmg but only shoots once a minute. Trash gun, that'd be.

Separate toons means separate progress. You can share some stuff between them by buying certain stuff in the BoO, but mostly limited to the stash, SHD levels if you have them, and materials.

Just a heads up: the 10% AR damage from Fenris isn't actually a full 10%.
It's based off your weapon damage before red cores are counted, so the less of them you have the closer to the full 10% it is.
Which is why most builds just recommend Ceska, since it allows you to change the Strikers rolls to CHD, which means your overall damage is higher.

Honestly? One of the easiest ways to get resources ouside of a WONY run is still just running Countdown and junking everything that you can't donate.
40-60 total pieces per Challenging run gets you quite a lot.

Shields take a lot more damage from explosives since the nerf, it's actually safer to put the shield away when you're about to get hit by one to avoid the disorient (and then bring it back out for any follow up bullets)

Select another skill then select the shield again. It can grey out if you also try and deploy while mantling or deploying too quick when coming out of an elevator

@full zinc hey just letting you know im gonna be playing through wony like 15 more times in the near future if you ever want to lend a hand when you're available. i net about 3750 watch points per run at my current level. I spent like over 2000 of those points sofar on printer filament to level up expertise and it only got me up by like 1.5-1.75 exp levels

look up builds on the build spreadsheet. pick what you like, farm for it on challenging. it doesn't have to have max rolls - just the correct attributes. with that you will cut through heroic like butter.

Just wanna make sure you aren't just level 17 cause the suggestions for what you would do are completely different.
Well if you are in fact SHD 17 you'd just work on builds and find content you enjoy. Setting goals helps too but you might need people to help reach those. Like completing all of the legendary missions, getting all the hunter mask, or getting all the raid exotics. Some of this you can match make for but raids you cannot. Some really enjoy summit, countdown, open world activities, or even doing backup calls. I personally like to help people run raids, incursions, and just general help, but with friends I speed run content in the game and solo I'll do backup calls or farm open world.
