I took a big break from the game? I left before the big expansion. How hard is is to get back into? I asked someone how hard the incursion was and he said if you don't have a level 1000 SHD watch to not bother. Is this true?

nah i just joined a random clan i found in the clan finder in-game to get access to the clan vendor thing. i'd say if you're willing to go braindead for a little while just farm countdown over and over once you hit level 40 and finish the expac campaign

maybe go through a pick a build you're interested in and then focus it at countdown, just try to get as much loot as fast as possible

The striker build is very good, and worth being your first real damage set. That is, again, after the expansion.

It'll be unwieldy at first, but it will help a lot.

When you get your SHD watch, do whatever for all but the damage set of upgrades. Go for Critical Hit Chance in that section first. It makes building into any crit build 1/6th easier.

The SHD watch is a post-40 "leveling" system, giving you small buffs for a bunch of stats. Its divided into 5 sections- offense, defence, skill, quality of life, and scavenging. You get one point every level, but it will cycle through those 5 "slots". Scavenging is just "redeem points for materials", quality of life is stuff like how much ammo you can have overall (not in your mag), defense is small health and armor buffs, and skills gives you small buffs to how long your skills can be deployed or how fast they come back. Offence has Headshot damage (HSD) Critical Hit Damage (CHD) Critical Hit Chance) and Weapon Damage (WD). The most important here is critical hit chance, as crit chance has a hard cap of 60%, and the SHD watch gives you 10%.

I think you may have misunderstood. The gun in the live build of the game mistakenly uses the M4's mag, while it has a much more detailed mag that matches the gun's aesthetic. That mag is bugged, and does not actually appear in game currently.

The devs made a mag that went with the exotic and the exotic doesnt use it. That is a bug which, as far as i can tell, not many people have figured out.

They arent "asking for a different color on the magazine", they are just pointing out that the mag ingame and the mag the weapon had when it was shown off are different.

Till today I played normally, but as of today when I open the map and as I press to close it the game crashes instantly!
Actually, it only crashes if I mark a destination to navigate me in the game, when fast travel it doesn't crash.
Also, I noticed that when it crashes and when I go back in it's changed into windowed mode and the resolution is changed to 1920x1061. I play in 1080p.
I can't mark anything on the map without the game crashing!

So I've been playing around with this, and came up with something slightly unconventional. Basically ouroboros is so stupidly strong, the difference between foxes, grupo, and soklov dont mean much to me. Instead I've been focusing on setting up the secondary for long range where the ouroboros isn't used. So coyotes + ceska. My M4 has ranger and 37% chc, with +30% optimal range from weapon mods. Anything within 30m the ouroboros is still the better option. But then I'm also setup for anything long range as well.

Not really. Obv raid/incursion locked items will be kinda impossible solo.
But eaglebearer and ravenous can drop in the dz.
Most else can be farmed in summit solo and can grind global events solo for named caches to get some of the dz exclusives.
The game is pretty solo friendly tbh

Hey is anyone else getting some confusing stuff happening during the incursion rn? Was running it all day with the same group with relative ease and all of a sudden all the boss fights feel buggy (not even a wifi issue). Like with Wright he's hitting and sticking us from like twice as far and then the final bosses are moving on crack. Like Johnson basically using that rpg like a semi auto while shocking us. (Before he had to swap weapons between those effects). Aaaaand...even tho we are getting his health down almost twice as fast as before, he's kinda ignoring us and getting the drone back up. Idk if anything changed but it's mad confusing considering I've done it like 20times now and only this run felt like it was on crack

Bro lemme describe something here. Normally I add clear on the left in that fight and the guy who's kiting keeps Wright near the pump room. While he was actually in the pump room...before the adds even spawned I just burst into flames got stuck and died...😂. As though he swung at me. countdown is 15 time limit 8 player combat focused mode where you and your team go around in a big map doing quick objectives then escaping, showers youwith loot
descent is a rogue-like mode that you start with just some basic random weapons and gear and then goes collecting talents and gear every loop

Can anybody tell me why I’m losing the busy bee stacks when I switch over to the regulus? I’m doing the grenade/chem launcher method and the holster stacks and busy bee stacks are there. But the moment that I switch over to the regulus. The busy bee stacks disappear and don’t last even a second let alone 10 seconds.

You need to switch back to busy little bee before swapping regulus.

So process goes get BLB stacks>pull skill and wait 30 seconds>swap back to BLB>enter inventory and swap regulus.
