None of the stuff you donate to control point officers is used in any crafting or optimization. Those resources are only used at cps and for donation projects.

donating resources also helps keep the CP folks from wandering off and it doesn't get taken over again as quickly (only matters if you're trying to clear the map honestly).

General rules to know for any builds, it's all about synergy and going all in on one skill/weapon is always your best option, having the correct roles that help your build are more important than perfect rolls or green numbers, if you are shooting lots of bullets as your primary damage then it's all CHC to 60% the cap for crit chance then the rest into CHD. Ninjabike backpack is a red herring, the loss of a backpack talent isn't worth the potential brandset unlocks. Not all exotics are created equal. This is the quick and dirty but really it's too much to explain simply.
