Is it a first come first serve situation for me and the team on who gets what? I have left a lot of loot because I didn't want to just grab everything. @drowsy turtle most exotic armour will drop randomly or from caches there’s the odd few you need to do quests for, and @halcyon junco you’ll all get loot from the same hunter drops but everyone gets their own stuff I.e you get a exotic and you can see it on floor no one else can take it unless you share it

1 thing can be swapped out on anything that is not exotic or a named item's talent, once you swap something that line is the only thing that can be changed. exotics can be rerolled (reconfigure) which rerolls the stat percentages for most gear, Sacrum Imperium and St Elmo's Engine get their third stat line changed though, instead of it being permanant.

I'm not personally experienced in the f10 method but from what I've heard: you won't get boss loot after the first run but you will get floor completion loot and random loot from other adds (dependent on number of directives)

There’s a lot to learn, but honestly you want to focus on getting builds that suit your play style and see what you want to tackle as far as game content.

#td2-build-advice is a great place to see what kind of builds to create and what pieces to look for and such!

if u want dps build, view your stats. u want over 50% crit hit chance no more than 60%, and as much crit hit damage as u can squeeze

4 piece striker, obliterate chest piece. ceska vyroba or grupo sambra chest piece and gloves, mask, or kneepads. other pieces including backpack all striker

think of what you want to build and look for stats that points toward that direction, DPS you mainly go for the big red weapon damage and the smaller stats being crits

want to survive then look for big blue armor and hazard protection to survive stats effects

want to spam skills fast, then skill tiers and skill haste

wnat a very strong turret that lasts long? skill tiers and skill damage

skills early on are very good since not much watch level is required

then also go after brands that also have stats that appear to match what you have

but you're really limited on survivability since low watch level

gear sets are less flexibles but are very direct on what they do, so stuff like striker is just shoot more and the more you hit the more damage you do

while others like HF are focused on certain specific types of guns and play with more risk and reward

his best bet is build striker as his main build, then grind with that. everything else is lackluster early on

unless he wants to use skills, then he can do that too

but anything as far as survivability will just hold him back

because the only way to make optimal survivability builds requires +10% chance and 20% damage from 500 shd

Its good for running challenging for quick and levels as you can run hostage encounters etc pretty quickly, I run that with fog of war and ragers for extra 50% xp and can get good xp in good time.

The person who is level 40 can join up on the lower level. After that the lower level can make the higher level person party leader. They’ll be able to change the difficulty like that. I think that’s how I did it
