yeah, it took some testing at first to see what was causing it then we finally figured out it was directive and got it done but was just funny.

u gotta wave emote to a camera to get an npc to talk to you, and with that directive they refuse to answer you. lol (easily resolved ofcourse, they really weren't meant to be played with directives/difficulties anyways)

i do matchmake only if i do/start solo mission run and then if someone joins, joins

otherwise, only calls for backup. even that is sometimes hard but still, ~10min someone joins

Yeah most skills proficiency adds duration or some other aspect to the skill that doesn't improve it.

Most people level the sticky bomb for pvp and achillies pulse for big boi one shots. Probably a couple others but mostly meh.

Well there is more going on mathwise than you might realize.

The number you see on your weapon isn't the only indicator of what damage you'll do, it's just basic weapon damage from your build and SHD, it doesn't factor in talents, gearsets, or exotics on your build.

This isn't one of thos green numbers makes better builds type game. Relevant attributes are more important than max rolls.

Gearset and brandset are more important too.

Yeah, I get the attributes etc but I'm still running into enemies that require a full mag to kill. How do you know which gun to choose then? If you have a gun with 60k damage with no good attributes etc but a gun with 40k damage with say 14% damage attribute, how do you figure out which one to use? Is it a case of picking your gun and then adding the attributes onto your chosen gun by taking them off other guns in recalibration?

The damage number your looking at tells you basically nothing in a vacuum.

Each gun has base numbers, so all of a certain variant of gun (say mp5 for example) will have the same base weapon damage. All mp5s will have the same 51k base damage. That is just one variable of the damage equation:
Base Bullet damage x WD x TWD x (CHD+HSD) x DTOOC x (DTA or DTH) x Amp 1 x amp 2…..

The number your looking at is only those first two, base damage and weapon damage applied. It's also not factoring the rpm, how fast the gun is firing, which is half of what matters for how long it takes to kill something your shooting at.

If you want to improve your damage, focus more on the gear that makes your build, and when looking for weapons look for something you can get both damage to targets out of cover on the third attribute and the weapon talent you want to run. That's the most important thing

Not really. A lot of people (myself included) will argue that armor is near useless in pve. Killing things quickly will generally help you out more than the small amount of survivability you'll get from armor

You just invite people to raid group, they have to be a friend or clan memeber. Cannot use /invites for it.

You can also favorite people in the uplay connect overlay friends part if you have like hundreds of friends and wanna raid with them often.

Before the raid vcs were taken out, the longest it took for me to get into a raid using the discord was about 20 minutes. The times have changed, and this discord doesnt have voice chats anymore (so use the community server) but regardless, raids are decent fun when you understand them.

In Destiny 2 the Guided Games system exists as a sort of "raid takealong" where a learner can matchmake into a teaching raid, and they'll be given "teachers" to help them in the raid. Rarely used due to the LFG server being easier to get people for, but still. Its not too hard to get raid clears.

its little complicated cause whole descent is completely different style of gameplay than base game, different mechanics, enemies using wallhack and shooting through covers et cetera et cetera 😄

Yeah many of them require a shield which is a) good luck drawing shield and b) trying shield play against nemesis. Entrenched and Preservation are the only good ones I have seen but there are so many good red and utility talents.

Ive had Warframe suggested and I really like a lot of things about that game except for mostly one thing which really kills my desire to play it... Its not challenging enough and doesnt require significant brain usage in the combat. Im looking for something that is AT LEAST more akin to The Division 2 in terms of difficulty. For me, the hot shot 4 pc talent doesn't proc when you use determined to use a body shot as a headshot. Hotshot counts that as a miss

Sometimes Determined doesn't work, so I have to switch weapons to make it work again, and sometimes the talent for 4 PC Hotshot doesn't work, then works after the next shot, it's confusing
