My fight consisted of running in a circle till the Decoy cooldown ran out, throwing Decoy and then using that as the only window to do damage. Felt like some old school gimmicy boss fight with DPS windows

I did it striker, with decoy - regular turret drone build - mortar turret build - and high end chameleon regen build heroic 4 directives and everytime it was a PITA run in circles and dont get 1 shot

To date I think the Shaffer Manhunt mission with the self goal of the hunter kill not being optional has been the best one

This isn't true. I was farming Heroic Countdown with targeted loot mask for 2 weeks straight couple months ago with no drop. I then moved on to an open world patrol in NY map. The first random add I killed in that patrol dropped the mask for me. I didn't play during the season the mask got released at all and never got it prior. Maybe I was extremely lucky, but it apparently can drop outside of exotic caches even if you never got it before.

there's always a chance in any difficulty, you just have higher base rolls the harder you go

legendary doesn't guarantee god rolls

They just seem so incredibly rare to get maxed. I've gotten weapons and armor with maxed cores as early as Hard via luck. But despite having done Heroic for how long I've only gotten one maxed crit damage gear mod all the way till now

Yeah... makes sense. I'm trying Legendary Summit as well but solo, and man it's hard. Not easy as a red build when a single mistake means instant death

Yeah, I mean it's just a vanity thing. I enjoy seeing my Coyote looking all sexy and maxed out on every attribute, so I just wanna extend the same to the rest of my setup. 11.4% CHD on a mod vs 12% CHD isn't functionally any different. It's purely an aesthetic desire at that point

Don't bother actively looking for mods as they are tedious. Treat them as if they drop for you it's good, If it doesn't well it doesn't matter

he shocked me, then started shooting at my turret (i hadn't hit him yet cuz he was a mobile bastard).

My turret soloed him, and i was shocked for like a minute

I have this theory where when u r farming for certain item from the usual spot which is expected to drop ur rng to that builds up and either drops or it reaches to a certain extent and is either dropped on doing other activity or to an agent who joins u to do the same mission

For me rng build up and transferring to other agents worked 90% of time where at start of mission ill tell other agents im farming for something and at end of mission unusually it drops to other guy and they share it to me

But again may be its my brain rot from all the grind 🫦
