atleast in missions if you reconnect within x minutes you dont lose progress

I'm not 100% certain how it works for missions, I think its if you dont connect to the same server/server group as the host you cant reconnect. I've never personally ever voted and I think I've seen like 1-2 actual votes when someone disconnected in a legendary stronghold since if it was an intentional "f this im out" on the players part theyll just get auto removed after so many minutes

so TLDR i dont think people are kicking you its just the way the game connections work

it even affected a clanmate of mine so badly, he cannot use one of his characters because it has some how locked him out of even able to join or be joined in open world.

he tried to get around the bug, and finally even after resetting the entire manhunt, that character is LOCKED OUT from being able to Join another agent, or be joined by another Agent .

Any ideas?

Yeah resetting the entire manhunt after starting that bugged side mission seems to have that lock out effect, I suspect the only way to unlock it is to complete the entire manhunt again.

It's like it puts you in a temporary state similar to the tutorial intros, but then you get stuck there if you reset the manhunt.

You can boost, yes - if you join lower level player it will scale up their damage and armour to your level and also scale up the enemies, but if you have a proper build then you'll still be a lot stronger than the enemies. The scaling will mean that your friend gains more kill xp and thus levels faster.

Your builds are also (or should be) suited towards levels of challenge beyond your base level

So it'll be way easier than content you're used to at the point you'll be playing with them unless you just hit 40 or something

You can also fast travel to missions and safehouses they haven't unlocked yet and they can fast travel to you, so it cuts down some of the traveling time

What you're forgetting is fighting an insurrection is the single hardest thing. While they have manpower and technology; when you operate on such a large scale (like they are) then communication breaks down. When communication breaks down, coordinating becomes hard. Every leader they appoint, we go on a murderous rampage and destroy them.
