My method of watch grinding is could be the quickest (assuming you have high dps) and hardest method if ur not careful

my method of watch grinding is heroic difficulty with all but pistol directive and target specific territory controls near fast travel point. If u can do it with little hiccups and no death u can gain a lvl every 4-6 minutes depending how lucky u r on control spawns

It’s just another material used for things like optimisation, just like field recon data, it just has a confusing name but it has nothing to do with your SHD watch points or anything

Once you spent points in watch on stats you can’t re-allocate them after but at some point you’ll have all the stats maxed out

At best you can have an alt and spend the stat points differently on that one, but once you’re level 999 it doesn’t matter anymore

You can however “reset” all the scavenge points it you make an alt (create character and start at Wony at level 30, level to 40 and finish Keener mission to get a watch on it) as SHD level is account wide so an alt will have all your points but not spent yet so you can spend the scavenge points another time, every time you do that

For example to get how many times you have to do it you just do 1/P so 1/0.1354 here which gets you a bit over 7, the expected amount of runs you need for 100% having it is by the 8th run (7th run is not quite there yet, 8th is a lot over)

Though note that the source I got 71% at 5 weeks from is also averaging extra keys as apparently you can get a bonus extra key on Razorback, so AFAIK with that it should be a bit above ~13.5% per week (as without that I think it'd be 1-((1-P)^5) = ~0.52 for 52%)

Every level up you get a shd point, when you start a new character the total of your level - 800 is how many shd points will be rewarded on that character for shared consumption of resources per character

So ideally if you’re shd level 2200 you’ll get a ton of shd points

The jump from Normal > Hard > Challenging is not that bad overall.
but there is a significant spike in difficulty when it comes to Challenging > Heroic. It's very much worth setting up and practicing on the former before you try and jump to the latter.

What you can also do (helpful for potential alts later that you do 30-40 with) is to matchmake/call for backup as more people (= more enemies) + group scaled up because of max level person helping allows you to reach 40 well before you’re at last main mission

Also don’t forget to pick up transmission phones and echoes and such on your way as their XP adds up

Otherwise if you’re fully solo and only do the bare required you can be at like 36-37 or so and need to manually gain a lot of levels in other places (though I guess it’s somewhat expected to do some side content perhaps if you do it that way)

you won't reach lvl 40 just by doing missions (main and side), you also have to take over CPs, maybe a few activities, picking up all comms and collectibles from the map; best way to run through WoNY in shortest time is to call into your session a lvl 40 player who will boost you and you'll reach lvl 40 very fast

it will take around two and a half hours to complete the campaign in this way

That is an incredibly broad question. There is no "best" build in div2.
Try hopping over to #td2-build-advice > 📌 pinned-message > spreadsheet > builds and making one that looks good.
I recommend starting off with Umbra, very easy to make.

Your SHD Level can increase infinitely, so you can level up a lot more than that.
But your Gear stays at Lvl 40.

As someone who was around during the World Tier 4 (and then 5) days, having to reset your gear constantly was a real pain.
