Thats cool and all but if you deploy the decoy, HS an enemy but change the gun while the decoy runs out - you wont get the CD reset.

They’re useful on the builds that make use of the specializations trees themselves… ie grenade launcher on explosive builds bc you get ammo from the build itself and you can use the grenade launcher + mortar turret to 1 hit a veteran enemy for example by shooting both at once / weakening a bunch of enemy armor in a spam while shooting mortar turret

Crossbow is even more useful, only thing wrong with minigun for most people is they’re stingy with their Chc… I get for gearset builds that’s necessary but high ends give you more option. The only ones that really don’t make sense bc they’re so situational is rocket launcher, flamethrower and tac 50 bc it doesn’t shoot cleanly through a tank and the compression wave sucks … it should disorient enemies nearby for a few seconds

Should be able to snipe through a black tusk tank and break their backpack… if the devs were worried about that being op then they made the black tusk tank very weak

"best" is perhaps debatable, depends on if you want to do the raid for it or not, since you have a ~13.5% chance of getting it per character per week of doing raid once

but you can do them both side by side, not excluding each other of course

if you're not in a hurry with it and just only do the raid once per week on one character (so quite minimal time investment over time) you have like over 70% chance to have it by week 5 or so, and then in many runs you likely have few more experienced people who more likely already have it and hand them out if they get it

no, just all independent chances

between different characters (fairly easy to do them on alts as you can just send over your gear setup for example, most things are shared, and each character has their own weekly loot/keys), independent chance to drop on each boss (AFAIK 1% per boss if it's not changed) and independent 10% chance every time in chest

there's no bad luck protection for it though so even though at some point it's statistically "highly likely" that you should've gotten it by then, you can still just get very unlucky

Might depend on your time zone though when many/good groups are going, and some groups also are more specifically open to help out a few inexperienced/first timers, with a few people basically carrying and explaining what to do (as most of both raids can be done pretty well if you have a few that know what to do)

There's so much weird stuff you have to do to get those hunter masks, timing a night cycle to get some of them done was no issue personally. I think the people that had to go full detective mode to solve those puzzles had a lot of fun doing it and the day/night conditions are a part of that. countdown will grant you the most loot albeit being a mesy bug fest atm and you may crash/disconnect from it during your run. summit can offer some good loot as well, and can also make use of targetted loot (like countdown) so you can pick the loot you're after.

after that then I would suggest just trying to focus on districts with your desired target loot and do open world activities in that area.

ok, I got it now. if you log in and it says three summit floors, you fast travel to a DZ entrance to reset the session - indicated by the loading screen. after that it says three bounties. leave the DZ through the door. you then do the bounties, emotes and CPs WITHOUT ever porting to NY, a DZ entrance or the summit.

Running a 4/6 Striker's set with a pure red assault rifle focused setup. What can I do to succeed at these challenging bounties solo? Is it a question of using certain skills? So I just picked up a CTAR from Cassie this week cause she had an ok one that just needed a bit of optimization... and while it's fun, feels like a laser beam... I'm kinda disappointed the FAMAS is just a better version of it. Same fire rate, same magazine size, both are bullpups (I'm well aware that doesn't affect the stats, just a detail they both share) but the FAMAS has higher damage... big sad

If you want a flatline buff, run Technician specialization, since the unique weapon attachment pulses any target you aim at, pair that up with 4 piece Heartbreaker will do some good. I'd advise if you're going full red, you may want to swap to an Assault Rifle, the TTK is faster and can stagger enemies more often. If you're looking for survivability, run the Gunner Specialization for the armor on kill.

I haven't heard it mentioned, wouldn't notice myself as I spend no time in those areas. You can buy them from the countdown vendor and the global event vendor but obviously you'd remember doing that.

You gain a cache for getting all 15 levels of boosted xp during a week when a new manhunt target drops, but that's a current season cache not a legacy one.

My game used to crash a lot

I've upgrade my pc all new : I5 13400f, rtx 3060 12gb, 16gb rams (and bought a lot of cooling)

First week, no crashes but in the last couple days I've been crashing a lot

Ram usage 12gb

The field research is tied to whether you have year one pass or ultimate edition or not, boosting is irrelevant. What boosting does is save you having to earn all the spec points for 3 of the specs by leveling
