Canāt finish heroic countdown past the first objective and barely the second objective if they decide to do VIP ā¦ only way that works is if everyone runs dps and have communication. If they decide to do eliminate hostiles thereās a guarantee youāre not making it to main objective and even if you do youāre expecting they will actually help. Countdown is about speedrunning since thereās a timer

Itās not worth it to host not in in the games current state. You either run into a crash, hunters and countermeasures donāt spawn, or people get disconnectedā¦ you go through a whole 5 minute process of getting people for no reason ā¦
The devs donāt even have priority on it right now, they havenāt updated the countdown spec oc safe since last November ā¦
The matchmaking system is a bit better for some reason

VIP in of itself is an issue, I donāt see why youāre overlooking this. I myself once thought it was a good ideaā¦ until you realize it takes 7-9 minutes, youāve already lost 3-5 fighting hunters

Challenging you can solo VIP without issue, that usually happens cause they run off on their own regardless, but Iād rather do VIP in challenging that run all the way to lab or containment if Iām on the other side of the map.

even if we had a host who would have kicked them if the people who replaced them, regardless of their levels, if we did vip we would have lost

imagine that there was no VIP option on that run but you had some new players that didn't understand the value in staying together, so some split up and went to a different objective. Very likely to lead to failure, not a VIP issue. it's an issue that needs to be solved before the run in the lobby

SHD 560 and I've done everything in the game, farmed 16 full builds including several god-rolled and hard to get sets and I've been that way for about 160 levels. SHD Level only correlates to how many objectives you've completed. That's it.
You can generally expect someone who's at 1k+ SHD to have at least played the game a few hundred hours in some manner.

It should tell you in the main menu now what in-game time is, if not check photo mode. Individual hours are weird, they are slower at dawn/dusk and faster at midday/midnight

With the end of manhunt chest thingo...I had a look at the launch info for this season and the previous 2. In the last 2 seasons every exotic we got during that season was listed in the launch info. This season only lists the Sacrum Imperium and Ninjabike Backpack, seems unlikely the manhunt chest is an exotic based on that.

Iām not sure how close Iād call preservation since itās a heal over time and it doesnāt stack no, so getting gunner AoK is straight up 10% every kill but preservation could clip on kills resulting in less (then again you could get 20% per kill on headshot kills if itās not more than one every 5s)

Yeah thatās what I expect from it, vaguely how I remembered when I tested it, itās just a buff that gets refreshed when you get more kills, so it can fall behind substantially to regular gunner 10% AoK for example
So just depends on how much you expect it to proc, still nice that it could go to 20% with a headshot kill but Iād almost argue in a lot of situations fast hands with 10% AoK is more healing indirectly for sure as you can kill enemies quicker too to prevent incoming damage + trigger 10% instant heals rapidly

Yeah completely agree there, and I still canāt believe itād be a DPS improvement set up that way (with striker shield and suboptimal piece for AoK vs gunner with built in AoK and a better piece, though I guess who knows, the amp can be strong and Iām not looking into it atm - also for strikers I feel like for this case preservation on 2nd weapon could make sense to heal up when using it)

I have little no none crash/bugs on the weekends. But Tuesday and Wednesday it's basically unplayable. I saw like 4 people crashing at the same time in White House (one of them was my buddy). There are some useless tips to "fix" the crash, they trying to blame it on the end-user and their PC's but it's 100% server side issue

I just got TD2 like 3 days ago and im currently lvl 10 playing very casually. im very interested in playing pvp but from the little ive read online i realized that you need to put 2000 hours into the game to tryhard and get a "decent" pvp build?
that's very disappointing i was expecting equalized stats for armor / dmg. only thing that makes sense to me tbh

when you get to lvl 40 you will be matched with other players that are lvl 40, the game doesnt account for shd lvls (the leveling after you beat nyc dlc) so this causes problems for people looking for pvp as a large protion of players doing pvp have better builds than the average person looking to get into it, so in rder to compete with those players you would need a good build

"experienced" means nothing lets be honest, im good at every single FPS / 3rd person shooter i play. only issue is gear here

once you reach lvl 40 (requires warlords of ny dlc) you will unlock the shd level system where you level up and get points that give miniscule buffs to stats that you can spec into various stats, if you dont own new york dlc it will be less of a problem with other players and more of a problem with finding players as there are very few people playing the lvl 30 engame anymore

the talent wording unfortunately hasn't kept up to date with the vast majority of changes in the game over the years either. it's fairly simple if the wording is correct.
"Increases damage dealt", "Amplifies", "Total Weapon Damage" and other unique sources such as Damage to Targets out of cover and Damage to Armor (as these are conditional) are generally multiplicative.
general rule of thumb - if it's a unique source, and doesn't state TWD or WD, then it's considered an "amp"

you can skip to lvl 30 world tier 5 (iwouldnt do this) and you can start the WONY, then you will be lvl 40 by the time you finish the dlc (if you dont already have it you NEED to buy it, the game gets almost no updates for non WONY owners, most endgame content requires you to own it)
