That isn’t how this works, you have to be grouped with someone for them to drop any gear for you. Quickest way to get to max level (and you don’t wanna progress through world tiers), is to buy the WONY expansion. And then, I would say to just enjoy playing through it, you only get one first time. Then once you get to 40, you can start worrying about levels and gear.

I never get people who in any PvP game prefer to have advantage coming from purely insane amount of more grind gameplay vs actual skill to showcase what you're able to do vs the other person

Getting some good gear going, sure, takes very little to farm - it'd be weird if you'd just be handed an entire gearset and your own invalidated, but it gets a bit silly if someone inherently outperforms someone even a slight bit purely coming from effectively unrelated grinds (as those levels aren't from say ton of PvP gameplay only or anything)

As Akeru said, you already have the advantage of experience, which is related directly to PvP skill, unlike say how much afk convoy farming you've done that's a stupidly easy PvE activity
Literally might as well as get a defensive bonus for hours spent idling in main menu, or game checking your SSD's boot hours count for a bonus

Feels weird that the best way to level is some of the least challenging content with little to no loot while most of the more challenging and loot-rich environments just give almost nothing in terms of XP/time spent

I think pretty much about same ballpark of XP, if it's more it's by a very minor amount
Imo it's worth the time often purely because taking 20 vs 25-30s isn't a big difference, most of the time spent is just travelling and loading in and running around, one more wave isn't really a big difference (especially since it comes from the same door)

Also especially since you have no control over what convoys are up
If there's multiple convenient ones, for pure speed you could opt for a regular one instead of an elite one (though I like going for the elite one for more fun and more loot), but often you might have no other choice

2. determined TU 17.1 but if you miss a shot determined is gone, til you get a headshot again

They're not included in target loot drops and as mentioned the drop rate is incredibly low, plus the high chance of getting ganked on your way to extraction. It's actually far quicker, easier and less frustrating to get them from the raids
