Usually in looter game, pvp are not really good and is more about the builds you use instead of the skills. The way the devs balance things around pvp use in these games alienates the majority of the playerbase that's usually playing pve

if you want good PVP u play games like Tarkov, HUNT showdown among many others... not to mention the Battleroyals (Which I dont enjoy personally)
Not to mention Td2 DZ is filled with cheaters/Script kiddies... who would want to put up with that!

does skill damage not affect firestarter chem? i was under the impression that theres initial damage and then burn damage. the initial damage is buffed by skill damage, the burn damage and duration are buffed by status effects. i see some people use a wyvern on an EP firestarter vile build instead of a yellow golan

DZ is a toxic place by definition and creation. It's too bad that's it's usually some of the best places in both games

DZ could be good if it was a separate entity from the main game. The loot you get in pvp only serves for pvp and same with pve. That way, you could be sure that if you're in the DZ it's only to pvp or farm gear to get better at pvp

I like the DZ but always dislike shooting people in the back or ganking them. I'm not doing that ever especially if i have better gear than a low level player.

Get rid of the exclusivity and bump up the loot quality and drop chance.Then you satisfy both sides. People who want the items but don’t want the PVP can go targeted loot farm in the light zone. People who want high risk, high reward can go DZ for the items.

it's overrated imo

its good for solo , cuz group steals your kills. but u lose stacks teleporting to safe houses etc. so grinding convoys is a pain.

it also requires you to move to pick trophys to get hose 10sec buffs during fights in a game where everything can instakill you if you aren't lucky.

idk, not a fan, but maybe i will be one day.
