Most people have a cutoff between 120 to 165 where the diminishing returns are massive, but running 120/180 or 150/225 on 60/75 can absolutely be worthwhile.

Ive even seen noticeable differences running 300 vs 120 on 60hz before.

I once messed with some gamers who insist 144 fps makes a difference. I showed a game at 60 fps but put a 144 fps counter in the corner, when it changed from 60 to 144, they couldn't tell the difference, but suddenly could when I changed that fps counter in the corner.
I'd say I'm 99% convinced most people can not tell the difference in them and its psychosomatic.

hence FPS isn't the same as monitor refresh rate. yes, you can only see as quickly as your monitor can refresh, but game input and output (how drastic an effect this can have depends on the engine and game) is depicted by the rendering of frames

For me, going from 60 to 120 \ 144 is visible (and I wear glasses). Can't say it's ULTRAGAMECHANGING, but it's really nice. At the same time, it takes me only about 5-10 mins to get used to 60 fps again

the math behind it backs it up. going from 60-120hz is a 9ms reduction in time between updates. 120-240 is a 2ms reduction. diminishing returns hits hard.

Yes, but having a higher fps than hz will still provide you more updated frames even if you don't see every single frame. That is the benefit if you can reach multiples of your refresh rate.

I know what you're saying Raucey cos TD2 isnt traditionally a fast paced game, but you'll notice it even on a cinematic experience. having the game update information as quickly as possible will always result in a smoother experience, regardless of what you can actually see on screen

but it does differ game to game and engine to engine. i.e. creation engine just flat out becomes a buggy mess over 60fps which is why they hard cap it

the same for things like FIFA as they perform logic based on an engine clock

Another explanation is that it's not actually displaying 2160p/1080p properly. Be it the display is 1080p and downscaling 2160p, it's 2160p and upscaling 1080p, or the game isn't rendering at the true resolution, etc. But if you put a proper 1080p display next to a proper 2160p display, you will see a difference. Ravenous, Regulus, and Eagle bearer can't be gotten from targeted loot. In the open world (non legendary) the Bighorn can't be targeted loot. But you can do it as targeted loot in the summit on legendary against the boss floors.

It's not bad, but getting the harmony can be a total pain to get.

It's a DZ only rifle. It does have Perfectly In Sync though, so it makes it a good secondary for if you run out of AR ammo.

The capacitor though, in everything I've seen always outshines PIS for damage on both skills and your own gun damage (6 tiers is 45% gun dmg, plus 60% skill dmg) when compared to PIS. It just gives 40% skill/weapon damage, but it does it with a single shot vs 60 for the skill damage.

The missiles are fantastic. Dude out in the open, blasting away so you fire a volley. Soon as you pull the trigger, they of course immediate move behind cover.

Easy, increase % stats across the board for gear stats and gear brands by 5% flat and reduce enemies HP by 15% and buff their armor by 5%

So tankier due to better helmets, but flat HP they get wiped out on like triple taps

massive just went the bullet sponge route, millions in health and more DPS output than we can get to, pretty much. I mean it works but stuff like Legendary is a bit brutal.

That said, once armour is stripped, it's go time.

It's rare to see these days but the pulse build is so good for legendary. Constant staggers and helps stumble the big dudes with hives.

I found tht If i keep my GPU drivers (RTX 3070) in the 520's I will not crash... I updated to the 530's yesterday morning and noticed right away my game kept crashing!

I also experienced the game taking up to 28 GB of my RAM... which makes me believe memory leak is also a contributing factor for said crashes... So i started using Advanced System Care RAM cleaner function to prevent that. It works for the most part!

As someone who was using striker with EB in a server with a top 5 DZ team and another team it works, not that u should be face tanking the wrong players with EB from 0 stacks, but it works, especially if u can isolate gunfights or focus fire with showstopper to build stacks before u go in with the EB

This is quite known, and happens e.g. when you level other players for hardcore. I think it is not limited to be in a group. I had a converted (40 to 30) Memento on me when playing my first hardcore, I was solo, and there were no drops throughout the entire WONY.

You can get them anywhere, they're not bound to any specific activities

All items in the loot table can be dropped Everywhere... BUT!! its much easier to get them trough targeted loot!
so you have targeted loot in the open world... and you have custom targeted loot (you can chose wht it is urself) in the Summit and Countdown!
The higher the dificulty with the most directives... helps with more targeted loot drop chances!

then join summit matchmake until you find a group in the 60's or so

then you can easely get to 90 bypassing all the previous floors

Its just not feasible... the point is to kill the bosses on the highest dificulty fastest possible for the most loot! If you waste time fighting hunters, its not just super dificult but theres no way ull be able to run it in Heroic by urself... its just not efficient!
Thats why ppl farm floor 90... for the 3 easy bosses which can be soloed easely and fast!
