What the Invasion thingy means for there is that it's unlocked by completing the build-up 3 missions and regular Invaded Stronghold.

Can vouch for this, such a huge design oversight on 12th/13th gen, when you go for the higher end parts (I'd say starting from the 12600K/13600K) it's just super worth it, you don't even need the more expensive ones you can even get any of the cheaper <€10 ones and see potentially massively lower core temps (and also more equal temps)

Difference with a €5 contact frame can be potentially be worth €100 difference in choice of cooler

Can confirm Div2 likes a 7800X3D a fair bit, not a bad upgrade for it either (pleasant surprise, lot of these bigger AAA games don't always benefit as much from it or something just prefer raw GHz over the cache)

I think Waveform can be good for skills that are deployed continuously like a drone and turret. Because the skills are continuously deployed they should benefit from the full 30% surely? Whereas a one shot skill like a seeker will only get snapshot of the buff that will average out to 15%.

Actually reading the text again, once is counts up to the max buff the entire full stack buff is transferred to the other skill which means the 30% bounces between the two skills I think. So, that's much better than a Wyvern piece I reckon unless I misunderstood how it works.

it's not +30 +0 and then +0 +30, it slowly moves from one to the other. so +30 +0 then +29 +1 etc (unsure on exact numbers in transition)

i use the waveform on my turret+drone build, i think it performs well

Yeah I think for continuously deployed skill there is no downside since they will both get the full benefit.

I'm not in front of the game but the text says: Alternating Current: Generate a stack of 3% skill damage on one of your skills every second, capping at 10 stacks. After 10 seconds at the cap the stacks transfer to your other skill. This process then repeats ad-infinitum.

It says the stacks transfer rather than it counts up again so that reads to me like it doesn't count up again from 0 each time but maybe the wording is off.

@cinder nacelle it's a 40 second cycle. starts with 10 stacks on 1 skill, stays for 10 seconds. 10 seconds as it moves 1 stack at a time to the other skill, stays 10 seconds on that skill, then 10 secs moving back

@lethal shuttle damage is good imo but it has really short range (damage fall-off) for an AR so it plays more like an SMG. puts it in a weird spot for me so i dont use it

Ok so I did a 10 heroic solo stronghold runs and a lot of firing in the shooting range, my Flatline Famas and my Vector Striker build performs better when the Chaemleon doesnt have its bodyshot buff.

But the inate 15% crit that came with the weapon attachment allowed me to swap out my Sombre mask for a Belstone mask for extra survivability while still maintaining the 60% crit rate and 110% crit dmg.
