There’s 2 ways to determine what’s wrong with countdown

1. if you spawn in with your own sub group and there’s no countermeasures and both sub groups spawn in their respective opposite areas, then the hunters are simply just delayed and need a minute or 2 to spawn in (usually will spawn if you throw a grenade or someone leaves) - just something I’ve noticed

2. if for whatever reason someone from another subgroup spawns with the other subgroup… the whole thing is bugged because one sub group won’t spawn in until a few seconds later and the spawns are messed up

It couldn't one shot chungus, so it had its vunerability.

You could miss a shot still and have to rebuild stacks, your team members could kill and enemy you were shooting and make you miss a kill.

After the fix it will not be viable for higher content, not near enough to make one want to use it.

Compared to other sniper builds it will not be usefull either.

I used to agree with you but I have 4 builds centered around determined and my favourite is apparently one that's popular for speedruns. tier 5 bulwark shield that can one shot no helmet elites to the body in any content? it's brain-dead easy. yes, there are moments you lose stacks, but you clear everything else until then so easily that it's trivial. it makes all content trivial. while that's fun it's not good for the state of the game and other builds.

I make builds all the time, I've tried every MMR enver sniper build, None are a solid S T viable build. The skill and difficulty to make a sniper build effective is to wide when compared to the play style of all other build categories.

This build may have some issues but making the change they are to determind is the wrong move 100%. IMO that's all I have to say.

If something drops then its Bighorn.
Got more exotics on Heroic.
In the end, still the best way is Countdown, just buy exotic caches.

I can only really answer PVE wise, and even then I rarely Matchmake. I only matchmake on the summit and it takes a while to match up with people.

Last I've noticed, PVP wise, it's moderate amount of players. Wish I could give you a more concrete answer.

I play the game only for it's PvE portion as well. I was asking, cause I'm planning to get the PS5 Pro which is getting released later this year according to rumors

I put the game down for like 3 years myself. The game has definitely changed a lot. I'm glad they're still supporting it after 4 years. There's just so many games out there nowadays. Especially this year where bunch of huge games came out or are coming out that have all been delayed to this year due to the pandemic. It's not easy for any side. I think with any live service game (if we dare call Div 2 this type of game) player retention and interaction is the most important thing. I think as the updates passes through , it seems to me that the devs have really had to shift priorities on key issues that's been brought up over and over again such as PvP balances, Raids, Crossplay (this one isn't really a key issue but always being brought up)

To me, it looks like the devs are running on fumes and are doing their best. But maybe our expectations of them are not quite in line with theirs.

For instance, the studio that is in charge of the Division games (Ubisoft Massive) is working on 3 titles alone. You have 3 different teams working on 3 different games within a single studio. All you as a consumer get to see is the end product, but there's much more that goes into a game than that
