Depends on the build but strained, flatline, insync, fast hands, sadist are top tier for smg.

because at that point it's a very sizeable upgrade and you're practically fully up to date, for relatively low cost
considering how in some ways a 13th gen setup would be a sidegrade, and AM5 setup (and anything DDR5 for the foreseeable future still) is just hyper expensive and again not that much different

so you're good to go with a pretty top performing platform for a couple years comfortably

comes down to having a bit of a think and weighing how much you value that money vs how much you value the smoother game experience and how much use you'd get out of that

Ya 1440p does muddy things a bit more

On 1080p 5800X3D compared to 3600 is often around 50-100% more (closer to 100%+ usually) average FPS and also often more than doubling the lows

On the other hand even if a game is pretty GPU intensive, like say Div2, I noticed at some point even when I lowered settings I'd not be able to increase FPS too much and certain lower drops stayed because that became CPU bound

So regardless of what GPU power / graphics settings you'll use, with such a CPU you'll kind of always see similar drops/minimums

Worst case keep an eye out on it and see what its price does, if it (again) drops a lot it could be interesting

right now doing the general anderson manhunt final mission on any difficulty will give you an exotic at the end. other than that the drop rate in the DZ is higher than in the open world, so you can try farming the dark zones. other than that, i just get exotics by doing weekly projects and playing a lot of heroic content (sometimes w 3 directives)

The easiest exotic to get is the Weekly SHD requisition cache from the Projects vendor in Washington. Guaranteed exotic every time

Hi, I have a question about the pentagon breach. Is it just flat out bugged? I’m rather new to this game and don’t know how to do this side mission. The pentagon just says locked by pentagon breach

It's bugged yeah, multiple accounts of people reporting that out. Although I'm not sure if there's a fix as I have no trouble doing any kind of activity in the game, so you could ask others here if there's any fix.

It's slightly below $8 / €8 atm if you get it on ubisoft only instead of steam (that'll launch it on ubisoft anyway), and occasionally goes to a sale to around $6 / €6 that you could wait for potentially

For some people, it basically never crashes, for a lot of people it crashes at least occasionally, and for a lot of people it crashes very often
There's a series of fixes/mitigations you can do and tweak around with that might not do much at all, or potentially fix nearly all the crashing
Problem is, to do so you might easily be beyond any refund window, so unfortunately it depends on how much that $6/8 means to you to try it out and see how it goes (to try the basegame till level 30 at least, this is why I never suggest people to blindly buy the DLC too right away as you can always get it later, but you save on that money if you find out the game is not your cup of tea or you can't play it before you even get to DLC gameplay)

There's also a trial (to level 8 or 8 hours of gameplay, whichever you reach first I think) on Ubisoft to give it a go for free, I'd suggest trying that and that can give you some ideas already (especially crashing wise, if you're prone to crashing you'll basically get it potentially within minutes into the tutorial)

You'll be fine, as in the original story progression you'll just be using the highest level stuff that drops, no point in trying to have a proper build until you hit level 40. If you're really struggling with a particular boss fight (the final one can be a bit tough) then just call for backup.

The ingame matchmaking for Raids only works for the Discovery mode, which doesn't have any of the exclusives or Raid-specific loot.
Check out #td2-build-advice > 📌 > spreadsheet > builds. Then make the "Standard Red DPS" setup. As long as you listen to what the Raid leader says, you'll do fine.
