I doubt it is exaggeration. Even I, as a console player, experience some crashes, and from that I know that the game is a bit unstable. Stability issues are probably the number one complaint, so why would all those people lie?

Yeah, dps. I like running with as much chc and chd as possible along with Bullet King and Baker's Dozen for max spamability. I use Negotiator's Dilemma set, it helps clear even faster if some you shot at previously duck behind cover - just switch to other targets and they go down anyway.

so its been almost every time im in the DZ that i’m almost done with either a landmark or extraction or whatever else and I’m just being melted by what feels like trolls running up on me switching to rogue while i’m either preoccupied with npcs or just trying to extract gear. what are some ways you guys have been able to deal with this and or what are some builds that could possibly melt back, preferably one shot marksman rifle builds but i know those are rough to play and put together

Yeah, DZ certainly isn't for everybody. And I feel it's gonna get a whole lot worse once the EB, Rav, and Bighorn go into the DZ loot pool and suddenly all the PvE'rs rush in there to get the guns. It's gonna be open season for all the gankers.

Is there any way to fix this stupid bug In The Pentagon if you used your level boost where you just can't procced with the area. Its just completely softlocked and it appears that this has been a known issue for at least a month.

It tries to boost you to a certain point for everything and the level boost is so nice but as you can tell their spaghetti code is insane. I physically cannot complete my firewall specialization as this area is completely softlocked

Pulse constantly. If you get pulsed get ready to run or fight.

When you enter a DZ your first task is figuring out who’s fighting where. Spend a couple min just observing the map from safety and looking for rogue markers and engaged landmarks.

When you see an engaged landmark run straight to it. If it’s someone that wants to fight then you’ll know real quick. Otherwise invite them to group and just like that you have a little gang going.

Drop a decoy every chance you get.

Don’t fight NPCs by sitting in cover like you would with PvE content. You have to be on the move always. Always doing wide flanks. This makes it annoying to get a nice position on you.

Run a pulse resist build if you can.

Run at least 4 armor cores (ideally 6), unbreakable, and catharsis. This assumes you just want to live not fight.

When you do extractions never ever sit in the area. Call the helo and get far away from the extraction zone. When there is like 10 seconds left before it leaves then you go to extraction, put on your loot, and leave again. This creates a very small window for someone to attack you. And if you can get your stuff on the rope before they attack then they won't have time to cut the rope. A pulse resist build makes this even easier.

There is a special skill you can train for better awareness in the DZ. It's called "Paranoia". Make sure you train that to max level 😉

Pvp is not bad in conquest, though I’ve never gotten to play the other mode other than team elimination cause it’s just populated on the one game mode…

Dz at like the restart time can be lighter in my experience but I gave up on extracting valuable gear, I’d just rack up a few dz credits, extract and run away since there’s no point in trying to defend currency, you can use the credits to buy named items that go on sale at the dz vendors… the other way to get named items from the dz is countdown credits …

My only question is if the Pinprick is actually even real 🥲

Dz south is also the better dz imo because you can trigger multiple extractions to mess with people, but by the time you get to the next one the other one arrived … so imo waste of time… better to troll the trolls with it

I don't play much DZ anymore but when I did I only went in there once a week or if the targeted loot was something I really needed (DZ exclusive). Once a week we get a juicy project to kill agents in the Dark Zone. So I would put on my PvP gear and gank everyone I could. I would target players doing landmarks or extracting to make it as easy as possible for me.

The players that were the hardest to track had good situational awareness and pulse resist builds. I'm serious they were like ghosts. I would see them for a few seconds and then they'd be gone.

They usually try to catch you while you're putting stuff on the rope because you're most vulnerable. And even then most PvPers couldn't give a crap about your loot and don't even pick it up.

The enemies in the dz aren’t that highly armored, probably the black tusk war hounds and mini tanks will give you the most trouble so you can get by with an AR and shred a whole wave in under 1 minute

EMP sticky is also very very strong. It staggers your opponents and prevents them from using their shield for a bit.

I can only PvE snipe with the Mantis because it gives me headshot markers. Over time I just learned how all the different enemies move so I know when to hold my shot.

They're extremely spazzy though and that can get annoying.

Also sniping is soooo much easier solo because the enemies aren't in a constant panic.

If you have a teammate that does low weapon damage it makes sniping really hard.

When enemies get shot they start fidgeting around everywhere and if your teammate can't kill them in 1 mag it's really annoying.

they fixed a few, and added a few, its not one single issue that is the cause all of the crashes

but currently its hit or miss for most, almost all will crash, but most once per 5-10 hours, and some every 5 mins

Getting from L1 to L30 is realtively quick. Just a matter of how fast you want to go, or want to pause and reflect on the story. (especially if you haven't played Division before)

it's so random when i crash. i could start my log in process and character selection, go afk to bio or grab drink/food. sit down press W to walk forward and i'll be met with one of 3 crashes. Game just locks up and i have to end task it in task manager. Game minimized to windowed mode as if i pressed Alt + Enter and locks up and a short while i get the Division 2 is not responding do i want to wait until it responds or close it or just locks up in windowed mode entirely

It was one of my first HC missions I did at max level and I was just thinking dam that puts things in perspective, and didn't really get why people said legendary was that much harder

like i'd try to kill them through 2 doorways length there but one would do something akin to the shield scope peaking and down me and i can't even hit them. frustrating mechanic npcs can pull off

so from my perspective, I waited opening them thinking I'll get better stuff at max level so that's worth waiting for
but to be honest, you don't get that great stuff from it gear wise, drops from most content will quickly overtake it
so at some point for me the best part of those boxes became that they also give decent materials (especially ones in missions tend to give 100 materials that belongs to the mission's faction) which is very valuable later on time saving wise, but you also quickly get so many keys you just reach the 50 cap and waste more

so with hindsight, I'd tbh say just open every one you come across, you have very little to lose out on doing so (worst case you run out of keys and open slightly less of them as you reach max level), you'll just get a nice jump start on at least materials and potentially it'll also be something nice while levelling to speed that process up

and you can reconfigure that exotic to be level 40 worst case if it's one you'd really want

all I know for sure is if I opened up way more before instead of keeping them while levelling, I'd have gotten a big jumpstart on materials that I won't get back after capping on keys
