When the Anderson manhunt came out everyone (including myself) complained about how stupid it was. Since then I've ran that mission 20+ times and over that time figured out how to do it properly.

Sometimes our first reactions aren't the right ones. This includes me b/c I complained about the Anderson mission too. But then once you problem solve and find the proper way to do it then it becomes easy.

Same for the manhunt bounties. So many people complained about Chirpy and Trig but once you figure out how to run them properly it becomes easy.

Can you guys shed some light on my durpy butt. I recently started playing Div 2, got the expansion. Went to the helicopter and boosted from like lvl 7 to 30, then completed the new york expansion campaign, so now I am 40. Everything unlocked it looks like (my map is a mess in DC), but I am so lost on what I am supposed to be doing to continue the end game. What should my progression look like from this point forward?

Farm better gear and put some builds together (see the spreadsheet linked in the pinned messages in #td2-build-advice for ideas), level up your specialisations, fill your recalibration library, earn some expertise, activate the global event and do the league challenges and manhunt, etc etc

I completed the summit today on challenging and no Xmas mask drop. I have it on PS5 but not in XB so I wasn't sure. I am extremely behind on PC so doubt I have it there.. but it would be nice to know if it is possible or if it was just that specific year it dropped.

It's kinda overwhelming. I'm newish too. Work on finishing any side missions. Collecting all the shd caches. Unlock all the skill variations/perks. Finish all the territory projects. Start identifying a build you can use for heroic content. Farm targeted loot for build pieces. Start donating junk gear to recalibration library.

I also recommend playing without skipping to 30 as there is a ton of story that is missed if you want to follow along. Lots of ties to D1 as well. Aside from that, everything @tender wave said 🕵️
