Between PC Platforms (Ubisoft, Steam, Epic, Stadia and Luna)
Between PS platforms (PS4 and PS5)

Hi all. Wondering if anyone can maybe shed some light on my issue. I have 2 PC's with 4090 GPU's, i9 14900k and 32gb of DDR5 both running windows 11. The issue is I cant play for more than half an hour without crashing to desktop. I have done all the obvious things such as reinstalling all the usual things, and on one of the PC's, I have even done a fresh install of windows 11 from an ISO flash drive, and the very first thing I installed was the game, but alas, it still crashed. No crashing in CoD, GTA5 or Forza5, just DIV2. I have done a bit more digging around after you posted the link, and done a bit of tweaking in the BIOS. Seems like it is running ok st the moment, but will keep testing for now. Thanks for the heads up with the link, and fingers crossed, all is good now.

I'm new to Division 2 (I actually played it for about 3 h on release), and now I saw the recent mega patch and overall the game seems to be getting better. So I grabbed it, created a character, had a lot of fun on my way to the White House and the game crashed on entering. Since then whenever I exit the game it wants to download another 30 GB or so. Also, the quest "dawn's early light" became sort of undoable, as there is no one I can talk to, the locked door won't open. I verified the game files twice, all good. Is this a known experience? Solutions?

The challenges reset, the rewards continue.
So you can get more and finish it off without having to 100% the entire thing.

e.g. you only need 60 points to go from 0 to max, which is just 3 missions at rank 10, twice.

Try to disabled Ubisoft Overlay in Uplay. The game will ask to reenable it on start but you can skip the message and play. Solved on my end the hart fps drops wich make the game feel stuttering.

Question: I just got the first Division game for my friend, we're on PC ( just on Ubi Connect, no other DRMs ) and she's stuck in the connecting circle at the launch of the game.

With my previous gaming laptop, I had the same issue when running The Division 2; it would get stuck loading in the anti-cheat and wouldn't start. Now that I have a new PC with an RTX 40, 14th gen CPU, etc., I'm facing the same problem. Haha, I feel silly. Is there any reason why this is happening? I've been to castle to start to follow the lights to secret Comms and nothing. I've also done the manhunt multiple times and nothing. Comms are not dropping from puppeteer from named enemies. have I missed something? Other legacies drop Comms collectibles fine. I have 5 so far

Go check a little further away, a lot of enemies can get drawn by nearby patrols/activities. Particularly to the right-side if you are facing the ropes head on.

we lost 6 more members in the past 2 weeks because they won't fix the stupid in the game. the ammo issue, the control point take over issues, the skill attachment issues, the loadout sharing issues also tied to skill attachment issues, the talent and core issues when switching loadouts, the new types of crashes each week that show up. my personal favorite. - join someone for descent and defeat nemesis and continue on playing, come out of descent in the persons world u joined and exotic cache is on the floor and u get spun and its gone. there are quite a few more game playing issues. one in itself no big deal. put them all together and all u have is frustration in playing. why they can't stop adding and updating is beyond me. each add and update brings more issues. just a thought.....how bout fix the issues and then maybe do more.

Hi everyone, played a game of conflict last night approx 7pm awst. Made a heartbreaker tank build with skill haste on every piece, so my pulse was coming back every 6 secs. Tested it in countdown then acouple of activities in dc. When shooting someone in conflict no bonus armor was appaering and my pulse was 30 second cooldown. So none of the gear set mechanics were working and the skill haste was gone. Anyone elde had this is conflict?

nope - we used to, but the powers that be decided they could pose a legal risk (not easy to monitor and moderate what goes on in voice chat) and removed them all.
Now people mostly use the community server if they want voice chat.

"A" is default in game for getting into cover and that's, like, totally against decades of gaming muscle memory where "A" would be jump and "B" would be crouch.

I'm playing on ps5 in foggy bottom area and died to random npcs in the street. I selected respawn then a safe house to respawn but it wouldn't respawn. Instead it stayed letting me switch between seeing my character dead and the map when select respawn.

I used to keep my DC map green for years just by keeping my characters in NYC (where are not invaded areas and CPs remains captured forever), rarely happened to lose a few CPs over time

yesterday morning I had all map green, after the update all my CPs were red, on all my characters, nothing to do with what you said

in all these years never happened to reset entire map even when new content/year was introduced, only CPs that were part of Manhunt events were reset, the rest remained captured (green)

just reset the manhunt. did not activate rabbit hole. took out dcd invaded. took over control point. traveled to coney island and back. control point is enemy owned and dcd is back to being invaded. i can't play anymore. its not the same.

Playing the content is not it. my gear has expertise, i grinded for exotics. i put my gear at max exp and they changed it to a lower lvl. over 1000 exotics for that one loadout. now it is no good. i have 11 loadouts at exp 26. thousands and thousands of exotics to expertise. they gonna knock those out as well. can't save control points as and invaded missions can't be removed. its so arcade.

well, this is getting out of hand. The game straight up isn't letting me play at all. The steam version prompts me back to the Uplay version with the greyed out "play" button, and I have already tried everything from verifying files, checking my task manager, and even reinstalling the game a few times. I figured out why my laptop is making ticking noises every time I have 2 or more Opera GX windows open. It's because something inside of said laptop is broken, likely a fan blade.

If it's only one blade, you can just open the laptop, get to the fan, remove the broken blade and still use you laptop without a issue... but if only one missing no problem... if more you will have to change the fan, and do it fast because the broken blade can get in the way of the others and can break all the blades in one shot...

Whenever i shoot my gun sometimes it will work but most of the times it just wont let me shoot at all i can aim and even reload the extra ammo but still wont let me shoot. The gun part of that happens to me a fair bit, I assumed it was related to my ping/internet/whatever in some way.

Maybe there is a conflict with one of the "services" that are running in the background. Try this: -> press windows key + R -> write: msconfig -> go to "services" -> press " hide all from microsoft" -> press turn off all -> go to main tab and select -> selective startup -> restart PC and try 🙂

dunno if this is the right place but i’ve been having issues with div 2 like deaerating? there doesn’t seem to be an issue with any hardware, and my drives seem to be healthy. however one days like today, the game will suddenly start to average 15fps. i’ll lower all graphics, restart the game, laptop, verify the files, try and mess with configs (there was a bug awhile back and this was suggested.) nothing works BUT a hard factory reset. if i fr my laptop, game works okay for abt a week then it does the same thing. Try this: under Documents\MyGames\Tom Clancy's The Division 2 and delete graphics_settings.cfg, and under ShaderCache, delete the contents of the dx11 and dx12 directories. This helped remedy the low fps stuttering effect I was having while playing.

Linux version is abysmal because the UPlay version is de facto incompatible

@brave marten Hi, I do not use onboard sound, I use an Asus Xonar STX soundcard. I still get audio for most of the weapons, but for LMG's and some of the Exotic weapons I only hear the sounds of the guns rattling, not firing. Makes using the Nemesis for example, pretty impossible. I've not played it today, but if do and it's still happening, would you like me to make a video?

Oh and btw, my friend can hear the guns firing when I cannot.

Control Points are still resetting after each login. They said they fixed this, so apparently it didn't work.

ARs are the PREMIER weapons in the game. Every enemy has a health meter(the solid color line).

Hello does anybody know a fix for control point not leveling up? I have and old agent that has level 4 for control point. Now i started to come back to the game and made a new agent did the leveling up to 30 then went to New York, as i came back, i did the tidal base mission multiple time on every difficulty this include story difficulty as well and my control point still remain on level 1 and doesn't have the connection with the events around it.

Yes they seem, my global setting is on heroic and with 4 directive but the control point difficulty is still normal. I tried resetting control points and even tried checking game integrity as well. Now i'm just completly cluless. If i switch to my old agent the control point works fine but not in the new agent. i was thinking about it not regestering my tidal base completion cause i cannot think about anything now.

I highly doubt it'd be anything to do with tidal basin, that's from the old lvl 30 world tier system.
Did you fully complete all the NY missions and kill Keener?

This is relating to TD1.. my game literally will not connect. I just bought the game on steam and installed it and I’ve already tried to restart the game twice and it just is stuck loading trying to connect. The first time I tried it was stuck on the screen for five minutes, showed the logo where you press A and then continued trying to connect.

I tried the game with the demo earlier through the Ubisoft Connect app and it took absolutely forever to connect as well but eventually loaded. I also had multiple instances of it saying I was disconnected as it was trying to connect when I was still using the demo.

I've seen a few reports of that, yeah. One person did say that despite CPs claiming to be level one on a heroic world difficulty, they were actually level 4 in practice, so it could just be a display bug.

If I set my global level to challenging the units at the CP are challenging when I arrive. Once i step into the CP to defend it though the difficulty swaps back to normal, and all units arriving are normal. You can tell because you get purples with 2 armor bars and you can one shot them, and the label on the top left changes back to displaying Normal. But my other issues is that I also can't see any connected events at all. It's like the mechanic was completely removed from the game for me or something. Well, me, my wife and my brother. We all play together.

Is anyone else getting constant crashes and issues with Division 2 on PC? Before this season I could play fine, but since then it has been getting worse. The start of this season I'd be able to play for anywhere between 20 and 120 minutes before I get a crash, a week or two ago I could guarantee a crash within 30 minutes and now I'm struggling to get the game to even boot, and if it does, it crashes almost instantly (within 10 minutes). All drivers are up to date, I have verified game files, even uninstalled and reinstalled the game but nothing seems to work. I have 14700k, RTX 4070 Ti Super, 32GB DDR5 - so more than enough to run the game.

I am losing my patience with this. It seems to get more and more broken with every update/patch.

I have a problem, since yesterday I have terrible lag spikes. It started when I did alt+tab to change music on spotify (earlier I did this all the time and everything was fine). I tried changing graphics settings but to no avail. I updated the graphics drivers and it fixed it, but as soon as I unfocused the window to do something on the other monitor the problem came back. Reset of the computer did nothing, reinstall of the game also did nothing. I also tried checking the integrity of the game files but no luck. If it matters, I have the game installed on an SSD.

A functional workaround for this issue is window mode.. Alt+Enter to switch to window mode, wait till it is in main menu and then switch back.
Dont forget to put it back into window mode when you stop playing.

Nope, that's intentional. The world is "always living", so they'll even do it when you log off.

Generally it's only NY ones that don't get recaptured. Enemies in DC will send out capture parties from their CPs or from their strongholds if all CPs are green.

control points and keeping them. in order to maintain your control points. u must wipe out the invasion. not tidal basin. once the invasion is gone, they will no longer send the red guns out on challenging or higher difficulty. not sure about the other diffs. i don't use them. i finally playing again as i keep 6 control points. always. now some control points are impossible to maintain due to their proximity to certain mission. like the monument cp is too close to tidal basin. the taxi graveyard can be an issue as well even after the invasion is wiped out. i maintain the mast, the ellipse, MLK, the nest, the choke and the one in federal triangle. i never lose these after invasion is gone. i play daily about 8-12 hours a day each day. i have no life i know. my lvl is 21610. been here awhile.

CPs resetting apparently not fixed: last night I captured all CPs in NYC, got to a safe house, traveled to DC and back to NYC, checked the map and only 2 of CPs were green, the rest were red again

CPs in NYC never were recaptured by enemies, and I used to have both maps green for years before TU 21 without such thing happens (sometimes a few CPs from DC map were recaptured by enemies, especially in invaded areas)

Early on in the game this was indeed the case (the living world), but they changed it so that captured CPs stayed captured. Many players would clear their maps and it would stay like that indefinitely - as you have read is the case by more than a few players. The recapturing of CPs by npc's is an old mechanic.

I don't personally mind either way, but some players like to feel "done" and have a peaceful map and since the CP bug appeared and now it's apparent fix, they won't get that.

It's like we've been playing different games somehow. Mine definitely always got recaptured over time, you see little red pistol icons moving from hostile CPs and strongholds to your green CPs, you can intercept them to stop the capture.
The mechanic that was removed from the lvl 40 endgame was the other way around, when friendly CPs will send out capture parties against hostile ones without you doing anything.

I don't think the enemy attacking groups are guaranteed to succeed, I've heard people say it depends how well stocked the defending CP is on resources (never tested it myself) and is likely also rng if you're not close enough to observe it.
I've heard a few people say that CPs are switching back much faster now though, and even NY ones that usually don't, so might be something else happening as well as the usual process

Only 4 enemies in total attack a CP, 1 "leader" and 3 lackies. So yeah it's 100% not guaranteed that they win.

Yeh I seem to remember they were taken back very quickly in the early days of the game, then this was changed when the expansion came out, so when WONY is completed they stick for longer, and those in NYC seemed to always never be taken back. During the tiers leveling progression they would be taken all the time as expected, then at end game they were rarely recaptured.

Most likely they were recaptured but it was at a very slow rate. I also seem to recollect that it wouldn't happen whilst you were offline, but could during your online play as it was causing frustration. NYC definitely used to stay green in the past yeh.

workaround for CPs: capture 2-3 CPs in DC, go to a safehouse, logout, log back in, check the map, if CPs are still green then head to NYC, capture 2-3 CPs, go to a safehouse, travel to DC and back, check the map, if CPs are still green then they will stay this way, I don't know for how long

Did you do the correct version of Roosevelt? (Regular or invaded depending on where you got to, not manhunt). Also, check the progression menu and see what that thinks you should be trying next. there's no real fix....either try again after the in-game day/night cycle, or join another players session that hasn't spawned the hunters yet. The former path is what I had to do because in my own session the 4th hunter was bugging out...it would spawn but despawn immediately or not spawn at all

Nothing helped but i found the culprit. After doing some digging the conflict was caused by the reshade i was using. For some reason it was picking up the reshade's dxd files instead of the games. Clearing the reshade files completely solved it. Thanks for taking the time to answer though!

If anyone has been experiencing intermittent freezing with an Nvidia GPU (i have 3080ti). I think it might be driver related.
I started experiencing it with driver version 556.12 (which I installed for another game).
I recently updated to version 560.81 and it got worse and I have been experiencing a lot of crashes, with loss of monitor signal resulting in me having to do a lot of hard reboots!
I've rolled back (with the help of DDU) to 551.23, which has always been stable for me and it seems to stopped the freezing... and no crashes so far!

Hi all, I have a very annoying problem with Division 2 right now, no matter what difficulty level I set in the world map. The control points all stay at level 1 and you don't get any extra XP if you set it to Heroic, for example. I've tried everything I can think of, switched between difficulty levels a dozen times and even reinstalled the game. Nothing has helped so far. Does anyone have any tips?

Bounties in that region have a chance of being there, you can deactivate/reactivate then until you get the right location (just make sure you're not too close as that will block it)

Considering Ccleaners history of shipping with malware, it’s registry cleaner has bricked thousands of pc’s and it’s basically ancient tech that was completely replaced with disk clean up (built in cleaner on windows, 0 chance of bricking your system) I just wouldn’t use it. It’s safe now but it’s been sold so many times I can’t trust it anymore. Modern OS is pretty decent at cache and temp cleans and modern hardware has the capacity for it to not matter.

I have experienced this issue with missing Dragov Helmet in The Division 2.And I informed the customer service team about this matter through Ubisoft support.

But I am concerned about the processing speed and approach of Ubisoft support. I initiated the case on Ubisoft support on May 31st. Through various evidence such as screenshots and videos, Ubisoft support finally understood that I did not receive the mask.

When I asked about the investigation progress of this case on June 30th, they said they would notify the relevant teams to conduct an investigation. When I asked again on August 2nd, they surprisingly replied to me with the same response.

That is to say, during the nearly 30 day period from June 30th to August 2nd, Ubisoft support only did the task of notifying the relevant teams and has not yet completed it.

On August 31st, I inquired again about the progress of the investigation in this case. Ubisoft customer service replied that the relevant team is investigating. Many replies are exactly the same, even without changing punctuation.

It has been almost half a month since September 2nd. I have been in continuous and active communication with Ubisoft support, but unfortunately the response I received is that the relevant team is still investigating and other related content cannot be disclosed to me due to internal regulations.

The case numbers on Ubisoft support are 21687285 and 20988839.

May I ask if anyone can help me solve this problem? Thank you.

Has anyone had an issue with the Warlords DLC, one where the player doesn't get Keener's watch. Game crashed before loading the cutscene, and it didn't show up in my inventory after starting it back up. This happened only 29 hours prior to this message. I have the achievement for completing it all in both steam and ubisoft, alongside the progression being fully completed.

I’m experiencing an issue where my 5x XP boost isn’t working. I completed the main story at level 40, and my SHD level is 6500.

I’ve tried changing the global difficulty on both my main character and my secondary character, as well as toggling the GE on and off. I even reluctantly deleted my hardcore character to try something different.

Whether in PvE, missions, open-world activities, DZ, or CONFLICT, the experience points I earn are at the normal rate.
Only the XP bar in the event tab seems to be progressing.

I was really looking forward to this event, so I’m very disappointed.

I didn't think there is a solution to be found on our side of things unfortunately. While the shd levels would be nice for scavenging points, what hurts is all the GE stars that could have been gained.

It's happened 3 times now, so it's potentially just a bug, but try having the call active throughout a mission, and at the very end once it's over, someone joins.

When a status effect is applied to me my game will go to 8 fps until it's over. I've managed to fix it by disabling Icue lighting in 3rd party settings.
I've had some pretty weird performance issues as well. Mostly when I ads (with a red dot) my aim will go crazy for a lack of better terms. It will do stuff that I didn't intend to do and locks up.

Gosh, i found out that to get Div2 to launch I needed to close out any or all programs like LG HUB, GForce Experience, any time of overlays for the desktop and run Ubisft connect in administrator mode then launch the game. Eventaully i got it to work again.

Somehow it may detect it once and so 'no go' then once you shut off LG Hub it might load then crash, then you have to try again....eventually something will kick in. I think anticheat literally detects something and then causes itself to stop loading until you make it think there is no 'cheat' app loaded. Its frustrating as I don't believe there were any updates to these apps that I have. One app I have is called Rainmeter (cpu temps/clock) which loads on my desktop. I'm suspicious of that one.

Let's say your library max value is 120 000 armor on kneepad and you found a kneepad (imperial guard) where you changed the Tier skill for armor. You will have 120 000 armor. Then, you found a kneepad with 150 000 armor which was donated in the library. The value of your kneepad (at 120 000) isn't maxed out any more and you can optimize it at 150 000 armor. You found another kneepad with 170 000 armor (max value possible) where you can donate again at the library. You kneepad isn't anymore maxed out.

Ok, quick update on the authentication issue. I'm assuming that there's a background process on Ubisoft's end that locks your account if you purchase the season pass. Just wait it out and it should be ok after maybe half an hour/an hour.

My jump happened when I finished a "Priority Objective" that rewarded "Season Pass XP" + the "Weekly SHD Requisition". Did you or your partner do any of those?

I did the weekly and I didn’t get boosted up, she didn’t do the weekly SHD. And she gets boosted straight after the two mission. But if I remember she chooses a mission what is “season xp pass” rewarded but she didn’t do that mission.

So theoretically if you chose any priority objective when the reward is season xp pass, that can cause issue and doesn’t matter what mission you do.

She just choosed a Mission priority with season pass xp reward but didn’t do it as it’s Pentagon. So she just did the two journey missions (Grand Washington and Air Space). After Grand Washington she jumped to lvl5 and after Air Space she jumped from lvl5 to lvl44
