literally capacitor
i doubt it will
it will probably only increase with mods and ST's
same here, but you never know might end up being like the striker/crusader shield utilizing skill damage with insync for awhile until they patch it
Red striker cap is double the raw weapon danage as a yellow striker cap setup
st6 smart cover is 45% dttoc
Seriously
yes
I need to catch a video
rogue gold said it
Smart cover gives dttooc wtf
10% at base yeah
That's a gamechanger..
yea its crazy
Oxi striker builds ftw
i would've assumed assult drone + smart cover
Oxi can utilise the dttooc
as long as you have smart cover you can run whatever
but yeah, oxi would be much better
so 4 strikers, fox's, contractors, capacitor, smart cover and oxi? 🤔
It's a sticky bomb variant right?
Ok there gonna be a slew of builds coming out for this then
Chem
no its a sticky
it acts like it as you aim and it hits your cover and applies itself
in div 1 you can double tap the skill and you'd just add it to yoru cover you're behind
its not a variant but its aims like a sticky and can drop like a chem
I missed something
it acts as both
So smart cover is a sticky variant
I was wondering how it would work solo behind cover, for example. i.e. you're not firing it at someone else's cover, you're just buffing yourself
Sticky the floor??
its it own thing but basically
you can double tap to drop it
you shoot a circle that empowers anyone attached to cover in range of your circle
might be an animation like in div 1 where our agent just slaps something on our cover
basically
but its effectively just dropping it on the ground
it attaches it to whatever cover you are on
Gonna go make myself not stupid for a bit.
if they want to be smart they could make it so when you are out of cover you can insta use it like a sticky
but when in cover you drop it on you
Ah ok, that's much better than what I thought
itll be very good if you can make it work
the 45 dttoc is effectively a 40% increase since its additive with your weapon 3rd
IDK what happened here but everything died.
i just set the dttoc value to +45% in a dps sheet for that
and?
=S
good numbers?
bad numbers?
still unknown?
i would be curious what those numbers will be like 🤔
read challenge superfail
bigger boost than perfect glass it appears
so glass cannon going to cease to exist in builds?
so techinically we can probably use determined with smartcover and glass cannon and keep popping heads without needing chainkiller?
especially if its gonna be a skill/dps hybrid type, glass is the only real option
and why would you do that
when you can just use hh and not take more damage
i got potato aim XD
its the same amount of aiming
lol XD
still will be curious how things will pan out once it's released
could see a lot of hybrid support builds coming out of the word works with smartcover as the main skill
itll be op if they keep it like this so i think they will tune it down
guess it'll depend if they give us a PTS between the 6th and 27th
Hope so. Be interested to know what the overcharged dttooc looks like
you can simulate it by perfect sledging an armored enemy
twice
Just got the centurions scabbard holster, rerolled it multiple times and just keep getting weapon handling and crit chance on the same slots
Are they fixed attributes or am I just unlucky
fixed attributes
i think only the acostas knee pads are not fixed?
ill check that when i can get into the game i have them
don’t bother they are not the greatest
Yet again here with dumb questions: If i'm at 2 yellow cores, should i run Mechanical Animal or Capacitor for striker drone?
id still run capacitor
yeah cap is more DPS and more consistent buff for Drone/turret
How do we feel about Umbra? 😏
It's alright. Good in PvP PvE it's can be a mix bag due how you have to keep it's talent up.
Need more context about these and what you want to improve on.
Well the first build, I made it to kind of see how does the exodus gloves work and if it can be used outside PvE and the Second one is a shotgun build i made for pvp
Just gonna point you to the Pinned Messages
a weird question but is there an alternate for the ACS-12 in the Strikers build?
As in you don't want to use it?
kind of yes, I am not really fan of the archetype
I am running St. Elmo's and a MPX but that was almost a year ago during the time when the guide from the spreadsheet was for Y5S2
I am up for changing builds if there is something better suited for a solo player.
Ya, of course you don't need to use ACS12 it's just the best opition for getting to your max DPS.
Using an SMG is fine. I use a SMG9 on my Strikers for general PvE. Just make sure you're using it for a reason that isn't the same as your AR if that makes sense.
Can any one recommend a build for the chameleon and MR equipped?
idk, i use chameleon and vector 9 mm - and vector stacking fast - ofc not as acs, but benefit is that i have 2nd reliable weapon)
which gadgets combo do u recommend for versatile solo play ?
Depends on the build and your playstyle.
you can easeally switch loadouts on the go - so most players will say its worthless.
BUT - i toyed with a versatile concept of a skill dps build hybrid
again, most of the players will say you that its a crap build, coz its non optimised for some task, but it nets preety well rounded gameplay
- Tech spec for +1 skilltier
- ninjabike backpack
- 3 pcs striker (heartbreaker can also work)
- picaros holster
- ceska\grupo\walker\fenris chest with obliterate (for gun) or with kinetic momentum (for skills)
- capacitor
This build have 6 skill tiers, and sudo 4 reds - that translates into a 7 reds for capacitor, near 48 chc and 123 chd
My non optimised variant of this build in testing range can deal near 4-5 mil dps without any skills
you can use with it some skill combos (not all)
- turret\drone - turret will do near 1 mil dps, and drone 0.5 mil
- booster hive + chem launcher - you will have faster reloads - so better sustain dps + ability to immobilize enemies
- artificer hive + shield or defender drone - you can be a techtank (sort of)
- with kinetic momentum - healer hive + healer chem - to do some support work if needed
Capacitor only give 7.5 WD per skill tier and not a full red.
1mill dps isn't right... There's a lot of misinformation here...
so 2 skill tiers = 15% weapon damage = 1 red, this build have 6 yellow, 3 red and picaro, so its basically 6 red + picaro
And my healing Chem does 21mill.
I don't know what you're trying to share. You're doing a hybrid build with some mix of recore gear to get to 6 Skill tier with NBB.
The range doesn't calculate DPS correctly. You can either use a tool to math it out correctly. But 4-5 mill DPS either way is very low.
look, i know that there is nbb hatred in the community, and ppl like to optimize everything in some task
the question was for versatile gameplay inside of one build (as i understanded)
i played with this loadout a lot - it feels itself preety good at heroic dif - and at countdown/summit
if you dislike it - i get it, thanks for your opinion)
In my post, I never said anything about hating NBB or your build (even tho I don't know what your build is even.)
I just have an issue with misinformation being spread.
We has a community dislike NBB because people think it's really good when it's not. Can it make some build work and do some things yes. There are a lot of viable build, but that doesn't make them good for everyone or themselves.
Does the new Exodus Gloves actually are making the Chameleon talent usable all the time in the fight, just seen the explanation on YT, its gonna be a crazy high DMG in a solo/group playstyle
Lot of work to keep on top of it though
no, its just not subject for minmaxing
if we look from specialist build standpoint, for example dps build - using nbb you sacrifice damage to get some utility of sort - you just need to justify for yourself - does you need that utility and does it worth it?
in that term nbb is really good
if building for you is all about "can i deal more damage with it" - then i have nothing to say, other than just - let other have their fun
"respect my build", here we go again
I feel like I repeat myself a lot here sometimes...
Its not even about damage like NBB just isn't good
You could even take something like bloodsucker or ad rush and it'd be better
I have builds that do things that a lot of people understand due to the playstyle, it needs to work. Let me know if NBB can face tank a 4man leggo Chunga, and still kill it on my own is a timely matter. No cheese on ammo belt.
NBB is a poorman version of a build.
In terms of versatility ironically memento is better in every way
i forgot that everyone play on legendary, sorry
oh wait
best backpack talents if vigilance got deleted( because i know you would say vigilance right away )
Depends on build
1- universal
2 - dps
3 - tanky
okey, scrap tanky, already know taht adrenalin reigns supreme
There's not really a universal best
Unstoppable force likely the runner up to vigi on general dps
adrenaline rush with the re-buffed Intimidate isn't bad but doesn't work outside CQB for obvious reasons
You'll never be able to explain to someone that this is actually a game of numbers and taking the higher set of numbers typically results in a better build regardless of goal with said build. NBB unlocking 1-2 more brand bonuses just falls flat for 90% of the brand sets because they lack synergy and the fact of not taking 5 separate brands you are just not gonna make up for the talent loss on the backpack. At this point it's like how the 1/3 lb burger failed because people thought 1/4 lb was bigger, man I'm hungry.
i aknowledge minmaxing - its needed for specific task - i dont advice bring non optimal builds for the raid, for example
but if we take general heroic content - you can do goofy stuff and it will still work
take for example - i have tip of the spear build focused on a flamethrower
- does it do HIGH amount of dps? - hell no
- do i take it to content, which require BIG dps numbers (countdown, raids or legendary) - no
- does its fun to run and just burn enemies - yes
I use grey gear to do heroic stuff so by this logic grey gear=NBB.
if you have fun doing so - why not
So heroic is so easy you can use bad gear.
You can run whatever you want solo but when you run in groups that's when it becomes an issue
Fun is the goal.
Eh I don't care what most people run anymore, if I LFG with a requirement sure but in game MM I expect to carry anymore.
Mfw I get people running HF in the incursion
Exactly this.
Dark Winter though. Think about it.
Anything that relies on kills in the incursion doesn't tend to be very good
A lot of it is just boss burns
for some extent, i personaly think "what my goofy build can bring to the table of party play"
for example flamethrower build utilizes tardigrade with 0 cooldown (remember all my kills are special weapon one) - so team allowed to be less experienced, or make more mistakes
or nbb hybrid, can cc stuff, and bring some damage, but also not be boring afk turret drone build
If you wanna set stuff on fire id suggest eclipse
If your only choices of build are "tardigrade" and "turret/drone dps", you are going to take a long time to finish anything.
Does respectable damage and crowd controls to an extent
If you have fun running something weaker, that's all good, but when you start recommending it to others then you'll get pushback, everyone's idea of fun is different and it's not really a quantifiable stat
Alternatively you can foam which is also excellent
i have both cc setup and fire damage setup (eclipse and high end) - and find its more boring than using flamethrower
Everyones fun is different and we have to note that too. Some people have a strange sense of fun tho.
Big issue with spec weapons is ammo scarcity
thats the neat part - tip of the spear allow you to play with flamethrower - coz you dont need to spend all ammo - just set stuff on fire
in general - its enough ammo (with backpack)
Funnily enough I tried a tots build with tardigrade
It wasn't very good
The only spec weapons that really see any use are the tac 50 and crossbow
heroic
easier difficulties is harder, coz stuff dont set itself on fire - and you just spend all your ammo trying to kill someone
but on heroic - you do 1-2 sec burst and target is on fire - and you can do stuff
so its like 4-5 ammo per burst
neat trick if you're using tip with NBB and using Tip backpack?
The crossbow is a funny one, it's usefulness is probably the highest out of any of the Spec Weapons, outside of the tac50 for weird stacking stuff.
basically: you can use it to remove the chest plate of heavies. Making their health bar basically gone with a few shots.
It's at the point now where I use it on any build that doesn't need specific Spec Tree bonuses.
100% they aren't gonna fix that.
only time i use Spec weapons is if i'm forced to, like one of last seasons jouneys i think it was?
They'd have to change the entire way the encounter works or how crossbow works. One of the two.
lostsoul' hasn't discovered the wonder of GB with the minigun yet, give them time.
you misread about separate builds
the whole conversation started with some guy who asked - "how can i make build with different skills usable"
and i suggested a nbb capacitor build
then there was some rumble about minmaxing
tots flamethrower build is different, you use 4 tots with backpack, and tardi if want tankiness, or vile if want some more damage
i tried chest without backpack - and found its not enough ammo to use it like that
GB?
Great Britain.
Cheesy boolets
It's when you steam roll a country into accepting you as their leader, by activating the Golden Bullet GE.
This would be funnier if that one british user was still around.
but you also mentioned before using tips on heroic for setting people on fire was a TIP + NBB build as well, so that's why i commented it's a neat trick you have using NBB and TIP backpack together
Generally builds have certain skills in mind
i dont think i did, but if so, sorry coz im not native speaker, my english might be too bad
i tried nbb with tots without backpack, tho - but ammo is an issue)
Rate my build guys.
i think you need to change weapon damage cores to skill ones
9/10, needs another grey and rugged gauntlets
7/10, YouTube approved, would run
Would recommend sacrum imperium too. Craaazy dps on that thing.. the talent is broken
I need to roll CHC across that build and it'll probably work much better.
I also used a shiddy elmo and will probably put in a better one next time.
i feel we need more satire div 2 build videos. loved that one guys breakdown had me rolling
In all seriousness though, i get what flockwood is saying to a degree. Sometimes playing a game about builds is about making something goofy. Othertimes you need your real stuff. Mixing both can work but as long as you know it will be worse you can gauge it realistically.
I think in a build advice channel you try to send people to the top.
That part was not in doubt, the bit that people have an issue with is that they're trying to put a duct-tape build as "good".
As a personal fan of duct-tape builds: don't subject other people to them.
glad at least someone got it)
Oh i see, i joined late. But all the same. Hey at least the people in here give good advice. Never once just been told to shut up. Always something of use to learn!
If you come in here going "Mr. Buildman give me a dumb build" I'm there with you, honestly if most people said their goal things would go 10000% better.
but thats the fun part
some guy came in chat asking for a build, that can utilize different skills alltogether
i made a suggestion, stating, that its not optimal, it wont do best dps, etc, etc
and still some guy after that came, and started a rumble about that build surviving legendary
It's generally understood that the endgame of div2 is Heroic, maybe the Incursion/Raid at a stretch.
I honestly don't know many players that bother going for Legendary after they have what they need from there, especially since it's limited to specific areas.
legendary shutting down many fun builds, imo
Are you having a conversaiton with someone who isn't here?
Was here, maybe sleeping now?
Is this what trying to make Tardigrade useful does to you?
That reminds me... anyone got info on a pvp healer build? Mainly how many blues (if any) do i build? Guessing it's ball+chem, ER and F.I but i haven't had a pvp heal build in a few seasons.
Old.danny
I have 2 that i use
First: technician, capacitor/kard custom, 3 Fi, ninja, foundary, brazos chest with emphatic
Second: technician, capacitor/kard 2 palisade, foundary, brazos, gila, and ninja.
Second one is 1.8m armor with 6 tiers (while Kard is out)
First build is 1.3-1.5m armor depending on if you build to use Kard
Much appreciated, thanks!!
Minor rolls, repair and haste?
I need help making a solid skill build. I constantly get shredded when using them. Any tips or advice? Have some solid dps/armor builds already. Pics for attention
be best to describe if this is PVE or PVP, from waht i see seems PVP?
errr, wait you're posting pictures for 2 builds, first one looks like PVP build? the second PVE?
Yep
Kinda both but more so PVE, those builds I use for more pve. The 100 hazard pro backfire build I swap the chest out for henri and run ceska holster on the pvp version and on the striker I swap Elmo’s for EB.
Ty ty!
that's probably your problem. you're trying to use 2 builds for 2 different things
personally you should create a pve build, then farm up a second set of the build and make it focus on pvp
Probably, the dps/armor builds are more interchangeable I guess and I’d need sustain skill damage for PvP vs Burst damage. Like I wouldn’t use my bighorn build in pve. Any suggestions on how to build a heavy skill damage pve build then?
skill builds are in the pins in the upper right hand corner for pve far as i could see
Ah, I’m on the mobile app version. I’ll have to figure that out
i did this on my phone, i clicked on the channel name and saw a few things one of them being Pins
Appreciate you boss
probably depending on screensize will be rough finding the tabs and looking at the build as a whole
thumbs up
only thing I would change is put an acs-12 on there instead of the vector
lefty
ACS12 with Brazen is what I'm using
I'd go lefty tbh. For wright you don't stack when you can do dmg
And on lovers it helps the healer focus on other parts of their role
Also usually I'd run BK gloves so need to nade or melee anyway
i was planning on using bloody knuckles or Cent scabbard, but I just can't be assed to deal with the crit crybabies
basic means I can do the incursion until I get ouro then never touch it or the build again
I'd still run BK on hsd
Scabbard doesn't exist to me
Scabbard is awesome
free 20% ROF and WD that can be refreshed by swapping weapon is a great buff
1 grenade throw does not equal swapping weapons every 20s in my mind
oh no, I have to swap my weapon
I use BK in one situation as well
nods grem likes centurion holster and vigil backpack
I hate vigil backpack
I'm not saying it's bad
facepalms
ok talent, awful brand
I tentatively suggest you give it a try, it's very fun
fair poijt
i did try it with 4 virtuoso pestilence. can't do it
I run it on my high end build with bighorn and a vector lol
Pestilence is also awful with virtuoso
dunno, 1 million tick damage is kind of fun for me XD
Yeah, Pesti is great
Virtuoso is not 💀
not saying I don't love virtuoso, but it works best with rifles imo
isn't rifles for the Breaking point gear set?
works best
just my opinion.
Low
3 lengmo is 1.5m
🫏
?
Donke
Is this enough armor?
well just dont die
Fenris with no AR nice
good catch, i thought exotic was everyone's favorite Elmo
I mean technically it is an AR lol
What with lengmo set, its damn cursed. I spend whole day farming it and I didn`t even got a single double crit
Using a shield with Ravenous too
Spent 3 days to get one usable item, get used to that.
Y'all discussed that new Tinkerer mask yet?
somewhat, i didn't think of any combinations until i read a few and i'm like hmmmm
cant wait to get it. I mostly never use second gun, so it might finely be of some use! hhahaha
that's my thought too
Right? I'm just thinking with builds that at least have two of the same, something like shotgun PFE, of course Hotshot. I don't think it'll apply to stacking builds like Striker or HB but I guess there's weirder things
Maybe OD but what can pair with Sadist?
I mean I guess anything that can increase damage, reload speed, etc.
what about determined and that talent that increase damage with range
pressure point
ooo
What's that one?
pressure point+sadist should be nasty
right? like the talent has some use finally!
status effect you get damage
Oh jeez lol
Sulf fulfilling loop lol And I'm pretty sure OD just used Coyote so max out your crit through other means but get nastier through weapons
vektor with those two and ridgeway
What this also does is get people away from Lexi which is an interesting balance change
eh? someone mentioned sadist + vindictive
As someone who missed lexi, yup, im totally not salty
which is dobule funny because i have THIS
Now you can also use sledgehammer proc on your main gun without swapping
yeah, i'm an idiot thinking lexington with strained and killer. was reminded named weapon don't apply and i was like uh yeah....
Im not sure it gonna work 😅
lol
Vindictive would be such overkill but also so damn good
You'd only need 45% crit chance to then max it
Which in turn gives so much more CHD
What about strained+killer ?
hm, guns with really crappy control?
i was thinking Determined behind your MMR
Pummel/Killer could also be interesting
I really think there's gonna be some crazy combos. Whoever cooked up that mask is a dawg
Need to do incursion. What build id good for it. Haven’t run it yet
You'll either be a healer or a DPS so Striker DPS or FI Healer. Both of which are in the doc
oh wait!
preservation can also be used to give you sustain
Pummel+Brazen, hmm also, hmmm
no clue, but i know they definitely had a set in div 1 that did this similar thing but also do a mechanic like true patriot with the red, yellow, blue but for div 1 ultimates
That's cool
I think they're trying to harken back to stuff that was in that game without fully regurgitating
Wait
Hold up
lets not forgot
I guess is there a world where in Strikers do you use two AR's, one that's incredibly fast firing with big mag through talents
well, in div 1 you can still flip flop with the set on but the talents would still transfer
See I never played D1 so I have no idea what went on in there
I had only one build in div1, striker+lvoac
did not need anything else
outside of my battle buddy ammo box, eh I miss my support tation, damn black tust stole it from us
here i was hoping the ne skill would've been this
So is this going in next week? I thought Y7 was going to be when DLC dropped
but this smart cover is going to be awesome!
I doubt it gonna be before this ends
we got preloaded PTS today, they're streaming PTS tomorrow, DLC releases may 27th
That's what I thought. I was just reading that the preload will be live but I guess that means nothing
Ah preload was PTS, got it
nah, this weekend we can play PTS, but probably not brooklyn and stuff from brooklyn
catharsis is only blue exotic there, but i'd say exodus would be good there as well
I wouldn't recommend putting on any item you pick up called "Cayoto", it will 100% delete your account.
think they meant to type out Dogface
i love my cayoto
Brazen+Pummel PFE might be silly
no, i meant Cathelmet
was that the joke exotic for it?
nah
The joke Exotics were all a pun on the names.
e.g. Ravenous was Satiated.
Catharsis would've been "Anxiety", if it had one.
i didn't get to collect them all so i wasn't sure if there were any made for all of them or particular one
I would totally dig Anxiety as a non joke exotic, haha
I think we have enough of that without having to equip it too.
imagine if it was like perfect glass cannon but on face
or like increase damge or crit damage but have a chance to set yourself on fire
I think that's just called "playing against the Outcasts" lol.
well, have has backfire " i hate myself " gun, would be fun to have armor exotic to use with it for double pain
You need Bleed-Res for Backfire, or that weird thing people do with it now that they just take the bleed for some reason.
yeah
Are they changing the way enemies aggro?
If they aren't, I'd be a little ware about any build focused around it.
would have to test
but the sign that they're trying more direct approaches to threat at least shows me they're... trying
instead of whatever mosquito is doing
Buzzing around enemies and annoying them but not really killing them unless it's over a long period of time.
Wait, is that why it's called the Mosquito?
Honestly: well done.
We know there's a threat table somewhere. How it is affected is everywhere. How much DPS someone is doing, proximity, and a few other things.
I was trying out a new, very different support build with HW, and I couldn't take damage to use an Armor kit for the life of me. I was just out in the open.
But very cool to see stuff that can actually do something with threat. It's gonna be a pain explaining that some bosses' agro is just different.
I think we've repeated ourselves already, but:
We have no issues with people who use NBB in solo play, enjoy their build and gameplay at all. What I dislike, and a few others, is when those people spread misinformation about NBB being a good option to other players.
I said that yes, for leggo being the best limit example of what a build can do and what it can't do. My build can almost tank anything for a short period of time, and if it has a head, I can kill it in a timely fashion but it cannot solo or carry a whole team thru a leggo. It is not a min-max build since it is 5 blue, 2 skill and 1 red core. DMG per bullet is 330-700k. It very much is a hybrid build.
I use this build as an example because was figuring out what what my pros can cons were and building around it. I have a few fun build that I bring to support in leggo and I bring plenty of things to either to Dmg deal, CC, Heal and all of those would less and more boring because I don't have a BP talent can do a lot different things.
Again, NBB being good, no. NBB can be fun and used a in solo, yes.
What other builds are good besides a striker build. Trying to branch out and have multiple for variety
Keep in my still new to endgame division
Use Strikers to build out the rest, but most if not everything can be gotten from Countdown to be viable
If you also don't have some pieces, try to farm for some ceska, grupo, sovolov, etc. to have more variety because those types of pieces are used everywhere
In the Pinned messages there are Guides.
For a channel named build advice you sure all dislike trying to offer help and suggest guides
Absolutely not
I mean... We'd be typing out the guides again.
we would be saying the exact same shit
what they said ↑
But sure if you want us to give advice. Help me, help you.
What are you looking for in another build that good?
What are you looking to do?
Give us more context on what you want.
They made guides to make things easier for new players on what to focus on once you've reached lvl40 or if you're looking for more builds to make/seek.
It's not that we dislike helping others. This channel is pretty active and a lot of people post their builds (or build attempts) and we give them advice on what to switch, what to recalibrate or how things are used.
Hybrid skill and damage so mostly green red.
why is Ceska chest better than fenris? Isn't assualt rifle damage better than CHC?
If your CHC is ok, and your CHD is ok, then it is fine to run the Fenris. I run it with unbreakable, at 57% CHC and 193.5 CHD. NPCs melt on Heroic. That is on a three piece providence, Grupo holster, Fox's Prayer knees. this is on a three piece providence, Grupo Holster, Fox's Prayer knees, with Vigilance on backpack. (The Gift)
gotcha
I was trying to fix the post, did you get the whole thing about the Fenris??
Its more flexible also the weapon bonus is additive to weapon damage
2 options really.
-
you can run highend skill pieces, mix of yellow/red cores and crit rolls on the gear with capacitor/harmony. capacitor uses yellow cores as red cores and stacks extra skill damage with the talent.. this would generally be 3 empress, ceska , picaros or wyvern , and memento. im not gonna deep dive into the build but its based on skill efficiency that boosts % all skill attributes equally. also tech class for free skilltier.
-
other option is a standard dps setup like striker or heartbreaker with memento bag and tech class for free skilltier. again, more weapon based but memento skill efficiency covers all skill attributes equally, up to 30% when fully stacked.
ideally, youll want to get something started and then screenshot and post here for feedback. youll get more feedback but also maybe some pushback and suggestions that could improve the build overall
these are examples of how either i listed would look
watching low levels running striker's nbb in countdown had me seeing it instead of momento
Whats going on here, just maximum spread?
it's the max skill haste + perfect creeping death variant yeah
Is that the scorpio shotgun???
coo coo
Im currently looking for refractor set for a possible build idea
setup like a turret drone and itll do well in a team. your damage determines the heals tho, so ymmv
I was gonna go turret and aoe for my second skill
maybe stinger hive second skill. opens up use of btsu exotic gloves that can overcharge team
Im thinking the oxidizer chem launcher
Btsu gloves are an exotic right???
yeah, theyre really good in the right builds
i use them in the Mortar Supremacy
build
Thinking of trying ninja bike backpack with it
dont, plz no. 😂 , its just not gonna give enough of a boost to anything. just being 100
Not even if i pair with empress gear???
Like 4 refractor 2 empress??
not even. you could throw memento in its place and get 30% in all skill buckets without needing any unlocks
Memento??
issa backpack
I’ve learned that it’s not always good to use an exotic if you’re just shoehorning it in
skill efficiency % equals % in each skill bucket
% skill damage
% skill haste
% status effects
% skill health (real good for shields)
% skill repair
% skill duration
facts
this is why memento can be strong as a hybrid option on dps setups
So you are recommending i go memento for the backpack?
i can give the big copy pasta if ya like a breakdown. personally i wouldnt use it on most skill setups, but if it was a choice between memento or ninja, memento would be the only choice
i find it better on dps, which is why i suggested btsu as a good option
edit- wouldnt
for refactor, i would use a wyvern bag with tech support (25% total skill* damage), thats solid damage boost. if not using hive i would most likely use a glass chest, utilizing sacrifice named chest with perfect glass cannon (30% amp). if you have long lasting skills like turret/drone kinetic momentum chest talent is a safer option. for oxi like you mentioned glass would be the way with the tech support talent on bag
the strongest options are a lot of times also risky options so bear that in mind. anything you set up will need some dedicated use to get a good grasp of the drawbacks and advantages
Thank you @hexed steppe I appreciate the insight.
anytime
I am gonna try to work on getting both btsu and memento to see which one will work for my playstyle
sounds like a plan. if you need some feedback there are a lot of good builders here. post up a screenshot and youll get answers for sure
Will do
So why is it a lot of builds in the guide recommend damage to targets out of cover? Is it because it gives 10% or is there something else I’m missing
basically yeah
No shot, why not headshot on anything else but marksmen rifles?
You always pick dttoc as third attribute
Expect lmg
DTTOoC is an overall 10% dmg increase to enemies not in cover which doesnt need you to specifically go for headshots
easier to proc
Welp, time to reroll my eagle bearer, I have it at max headshot
Damn I forgot what exotic we’ll get for the next master manhunt mission
Oh its the exotic backpack
Birdie quick fix
Talent Combat Medic
+50% Revive Speed; -50% Weakened debuff time;
Provides 50% damage Resistance to both agents while reviving or being revived, and for 5s after a successful revive. Successful revives provide +1 Skill Tier for 30s. Revives at Skill Tier 6 grant Overcharge for 15s.
Theres only one guy thats gonna run this
provocateur 2: electric boogaloo
How do we know the loot of master manhunt missions??
its usually in the season launch notes\
least they told us with Provacator plus if you don't see it in the season reward it's defiinitely in the master mission
honestly how do you build in this game,
I was following some guides, I thought I was doing some damage, then quit right before the kelso hunt, came back yesterday, tried a countdown at hard difficulty, felt like I was shooting blanks on the yellows
or maybe my expectations are off
serious question, I am really confused with builds still
the one true guide is The Spreadsheet 2 in the pinned messages of this channel
more broadly speaking endgame builds are usually a (not) compromise between the three core attributes
red weapon damage cores mean your gun does more damage, but does nothing for armor or skill effectiveness
yellow skill tier cores boost skill effectiveness but don't help weapon damage or armor
blue armor cores make you tougher, but also mean your weapons and skills won't do much of anything if you focus on it
especially since the Warlords of New York expansion came out, the design intent is that your survivability is through killing enemies before they can hurt you, so all red weapon damage builds are favored. Some prefer to add a few armor cores for toughness or primarily how it benefits the weapon shield skill
I guess I should just focus on getting a straight forward end game build and use that to grind the more complex ones
hence the popularity of Striker
okay cheers!
Question : what is the best 2nd attribute in tips of spear gear set for hollywood event using grenade launcher mostly?
Enemies move and get staggered too much to justify it unless you are a good shot or have zero recoil
Like yeah you should always be instinctively going for headshots but its better to just not go for only headshot build, plus with marksman rifles, they need the headshot damage as otherwise they don’t deal enough damage to be worthwhile
Anyone got any ideas for a dumb meme build using a rifle with Eagle's Grasp and Bober?
Maybe a Diamond back or a Ruthless build
Handling benefit greatly for Rifle since they got low ammo and a big recoil
The Eagle’s grasp is pretty nice for rifles if I’m not mistaken
And maybe some named item do better
What’s the best specialization?
I was thinking about The Virginian and The Baker's
It’s not pure headshot damage because it’s not a sniper build (standard crit damage build, with some dumb gimmicks)
I felt like running sharpshooter would be unnecessary
My go to for DPS builds is gunner for 10% AOK + Ammo Refill
Sharpshooter give some stability
Which god knows how much rifles need ammo refills
doesn't sharpshooter get some innate handling bonus?
It’s like a 15% stability boost
and you can use the rifle + shield for a big bonus in handling
Meanwhile Eagle’s Grasp + Bober + Ninjabike Bag = 45 stability because weapon handling
Is this sort of build useless when I have a striker build and a traditional 180% CHD build? Yeah. Is it fun to make off meta builds? Also yes.
Obviously not. But the build is for shit and giggles and to max out expertise for the chestpiece because OCD is real
I though Bober would be the solution for survability
Like, I want to put together a Proxy and Combustor build too
Mementos do better along boosting amor, weapon and skill tier
Even though that’s probably a stupid idea
Gimme a few sec, I made a rifle build around ruthless
combustor was the grenade talent?
yeah i know, but the perfect talent was for grenades?
I also tried to do a grenade build
oh ok, yeah, deployed skills just shakes everyone screens
Protip festive delivery is amazing for grenade DPS builds
yes, tried it with the exotic, tried with perfect madbomber and tried it with sledgehammer and they all felt lacking
I had a really idiotic build
Festive Delivery, Collector, Emeline’s guard, 1 random grupo sombra, two sokolov and the stage left sledgehammer rifle
And you’ve got a fairly useable grenade meme build
This is my Rifle build
Perfect Mad Bomber is a thing?
I didn't used Bober for a simple obliteration
i thought it was?
I don’t think I’ve ever seen it if it is real
yeah on the Lengmo named chest, still no better than regular
This is clearly not the best build but you can play around
Carpenter
Anyway festive delivery causes your concussion grenades to explode multiple times if they hit an enemy
Oh… right…
i think because it's on Lengmo i felt it lacked a whole lot of damage
well not multiple times, it just spawns up to 2 more grenade booms if there are nearby enemies
Basically it just causes two enemies to spontaneously detonate
This is my grenade build
you should have been around for when you could trigger it by throwing a grenade at your own feet
Lemme guess. Abuse Demolitionist’a ability to tank explosives?
i bet that was amazing?
yes
tried out Festive grenade but being limited to concussion make it less reliable
Who needs outcast rushers anyway lmao
If only we could use any grenade with any specialization
amazingly the since patched exploit with Cooler and the festive grenades was even louder
Tried it out and really to dangerous with Glass canon
was almost a thing i think, but they scrapped it
Yup. Scrapped in favour of seasonal journeys
They should make it so we can pick which grenade we want
F in the chat for the dreams of flashbangs as a gunner
There is no grenade build, being able to chose wich one would be a huge +
especially if you can switch between them depending the situation
Imagine being able to toss cluster grenades that can proc festive delivery
You can switch grenades freely already (at least the concussion and your specialization grenade)
Simply hold the grenade button and boom
Menu for grenades appears
Is incredibly lame
i think it would've been awesome if the festive delivery was tied to flash grenades XD
You monster
Or any other grenade other than concussion
fire might've broken the game so no on that
(though Fire or Cluster would make it broken)
the extreme miniddos from fire
who's not going to riot foam them with chem launcher than throw a fire nade at them? then have the festive delievery talent constantly exploding on our screen just because they can't leave it for a period of time
It won't proc infinitly since it does on the hit of the grenade and not the fire from it
Yeah this one would be a nuke
They should a true melee build viable
Maybe have some sort of exotic combo that bypasses armour when you melee
you believe they wouldn't accidently code it to have it constantly go off of the fire and not just the initial blast of the fire?
I wish Acosta wasn’t such underwhelming exotic
I can more or less play on solo heroic
Since the extra armour kit, ammo, and grenades is nice
The true value from Acosta is the refill every minute
You know what would be horrifying. Collector + Acosta
So you can play only using foam, seeker mine, grenade
Imagine the spam if you could use that with cluster grenades on demolitionist
if only festive delivery were a chest piece, could you imagine that combo?
i know but still, your build, festive on chest and throwing a concussion every 1 minute?
I'm using Artisan so I can get a refound in case of kill
Along with Acosta refill every 1 min
The build revolve around foam then seeker mine then cluster
you're making me want to make that build just to play around with it
Make you kill, rince and repeat
You will still get a problem with chunga or heavy armored enemie
Any way, grenade need some love
And would be pretty fun imo
You don't need it to be broken
just toss grenade around and wait for them to die
you know would be intersting if that measured gearset would give us grenades we dismantle/destroy. you build with carpenter and acosta with the measured giving us grenades would be rather amusing
2 questions
1, Can you still store rolls from armor pieces?
2. Should I store some almost max rolls from my lvl 30 gear? (I haven't played in a longgggggggg time)
Main reason to have Acosta i would assume is the OC
no level 30 gear unless you really really want to, the level 40 gear will be much higher i think? or maybe a good 3-4% higher i can't remember honestly
- Yes and 2. maybe if they're useful stats and you want to level characters without boosting in the future (or hardcore characters) as you'll be able to apply lvl 30 stats to low level gear
Okay, I was thinking it probably scaled higher but wasn't sure.
Thank you for the info too. Might do that just incase lol
Lvl 40 stats can only be applied to lvl 31-40 gear
oh so we can use those stats on hardcore? huh
Yeah you can recalibrate a lvl 30 armour core onto a lvl 1 item and be near unkillable for most of the campaign
Obviously not the point of playing HC, but hey...
good to know though, i assumed you had to start from scratch with your library stuff on HC
Library and expertise are account wide
This build of my damage more but
This build do less of the damage, I don't havew ceska armor. Where I can get and what's wrong?
Like 1st build does 300K - more but the 2nd struggle to keep 100K
Still need a better chest, obliterate on anything will give you more damage, obviously ceska is best choice for brand
read the turmoil knees very carefully, plus they're extremely bugged
Is ceska hard to get item? I've never notice where is ceska
Yeah the second one will only do decent damage at very high stacks, and it's cut in half for your primary target
place i hate with a passion but i recommend it because of the sheer drop amount you get in Countdown
Sorry I didn't notice but it give 15% weapon damage
the knees are bugged because it's suppose to be a 50/50 damage transfer but sometimes it bugs out and does more
also when you're just down to 1 target you're suppose to do 100% but you're still doing 50%
This is ceska icon?
yes, same as the knees in your second picture
Oh so any vest with that icon will work right?
Yes, ideally one with crit chance and damage in the minor stats
Then recalibrate the talent to obliterate
Thank you and what I can do with the 2nd image build? I mean to improve so it can transfer some more damage? Like if I place ceska vest in 2nd build then I've to put striker kneepad to complete 4 gear set right?
If you really want the damage transfer from those kneepads, the best thing you can do is run an ACS-12 as your second weapon and use that to build striker stats
The striker chest is only really useful when you have max stacks, which are difficult to build and maintain
No like I'll change the vest gonna farm to get ceska vest now, but after putting the vest my the striker will come to 3 pieces. So I've to move kneepad to stiker kneepad to make it 4 gear set right? So that's why
Yes, but then it's basically just the same as the first build
Thank you so much for the help
Good morning folks, I have weird dilemma, well, any interesting catharsis pve builds that somewhat easy to make?
Feel like its finelly the time for my mules to have gear, for weeklies completion obviously. 😅
( Why catharsis? Well, was farming for extra coyote and ended up with 4 extra catharsis instead...I feel its a sign from rngods )
It’s not really good for PvE:/
Well, you can slap it on a pfe shorty build
or run it instead of Coyote's on the Heartbreaker setup in the spreadsheet
Eh
Not enough blue IMO
oh, kinda forgot about heartbreaker existence...again
what easy to farm build do u recommend when character reaches lvl 40 ?
easiest is the red striker build in the pins uppper right hand corner
that's an option, but was more thinking this
https://lite.evernote.com/note/0ee25268-ad51-0dd8-be36-f12373c7630a
Wouldnt Strikers with Groupo pack and Ceska chest be easier?
can't say honestly, i rarely use a strike build these days
skip out on the exo
Fair
How getting 1 correct roll on backpack is going to be harder then getting two right attributes for rolling talent, or correct talent+one attribute?
dunno, maybe i`m just unlucky, but backpack and chest farming can really drain your sanity
Fair but Tinkering and it doesnt have to be perfect from the jump
honestly this will breeze you through any content
but for legendaries, might swap chest for striker one and then any of gloves, holster, knees item for ceska
@indigo fjord i've been hooked on this build which i have to change to apply the alphabridge exotid to
Ill check it out
it's a known build, i remember it being calle Full metal Jacket (FMJ) think the sheet has it as a standard red dps build
im recently started to consider using turmoil on striker for leggies, until they fix strega-turmoil combo that is...
Ive posted it before but thats what im running atm
after 1 kill, turmoil sends strega debuff on everything within range and it updates with each further kill
helps in terms of people stealing marks 😅
oh, wait...i does same thing even without turmoil... NEVERMIND then...good thing i was " testing " this in solo runs, hahahaha
yeah I was gonna ask if the effect has more to do with the shooting range target proximity than Turmoil
to be fair, i was testing in leggies union, which also has rather packed rooms..
@patent fossil It's now okay I guess?
You'll still want to change your chest talent to obliterate, but otherwise yes, looks perfect
Oh daamn I forget
I think I made a mistake and now I can't do it, LOL. Have to farm new one.
Talents are more important than stats, they give a much bigger damage boost, so that's a priority
Got it thanks again, Now have to collect optimization resource and new chest item.
What's the best way to farm optimizaion resources?
Summit?
Or have I've to select in countdown?
How do we feel about exodus gloves vs coyotes mask with a strikers build
I prefer exodus gloves tbf for the little extra survivability on a full red
what pairs well with the gloves? Chameleon?
Yeah usually
Holy SHIT this is huge. Sadist+pressure point, optimist+strained, Determined+ranger?
this also seems absurdly high
don’t worry we will see how cool it is when master mode drops!
yea it’s op
I can't wait to tell everyone that the coolest exotic is still months away once the new season starts!
Hello
I have 2 perfect Lexington (with DTTOOC)
I'm wondering which talent should I set it before expertizing
I feel like Optimist is more polyvalent while Strained might deal more damage
Is it worth tu put Preservation on it or should I just use another weapon
you can change it so don’t worry too much
i would do killer
swap to strained or measured when in group content
Strained is top recommended, followed by Fast Hands sometimes, and Flat Line (with tech spec and tech laser.)
Thanks for the reply
hey all where can i farm the new alphabridge mask? i farmed countdown for 8h
PTS?
nah i'm just baiting souless as the average player
oh lol XD
I smell Division 1 round the corner...yuck. The mask is called "Tinkerer" with talent Abridged. (Works like Div 1 AlphaBridge) Not available till Year 7 drops. It is available on the PTS, (I am assuming) and like all exotic pieces, you farm the gear type. Other than countdown, the best farm location is summit.
He's just trolling, we already know where to find the mask both in pts (vendor cache) and once new season goes live (manhunt climax mission)
I did not see the second post
Need a good pistol/sidearm for this build. Set the directives with no ammo. So Need a powerful sidearm which can damage more.
Orbit
It's not only strong but it'll make your damage better after using it making your ammo efficiency a bit better too with perfect finisher.
the thing is, I got no luck in dark zone, like I have no custom KARD
so orbit only available in dark zone right?
have you considered just waiting for the Gunner special ability to give you the ammo?
Sorry?!
Gunner gives you some ammunition every 60 seconds or so
all you have to do is wait
Which one?
Oh so based on what I've
the ammo box icon thing you've already taken
It does give you ammo
oh okay, So no matter what've
But I'm playing with no ammo, So basically 0 ammo mean no ammo after 60 sec?
it's based off of your maximum ammo
No, it gives you a percentage of maximum ammo regardless of how much you have
it isn't amplicative
ah ah got it
Is this a new talent?
yes the perfect variant
@rux while the normal version
No way that isn't getting nerfed 500 miles into the ground
Wait so I can put this talent in my rifle and have so much damage?
I mean easy to kill enemy.!!
Same talent requirement as the new mask too, so easy dps boost for second weapon
in other news this build with alpha bridge
Ohh...
What weapon?
lexington of course (> <)
So how does that look with striker?
I use UIC15 MOD2 better or funny build?
i expect to see a 1.5mil or higher
stats
yeah, probably be a whole lot more if i had streamline...... 😭
Headhunter gets 20x more busted
go have a wet dream?
i am gonna strategize so hard with this
this changes everything.
Inb4 launch patch notes dock that to like 20 percent
the strategy being just kill
Rifles only or it can be applied to ARs too?
every single gun gets it
only thing i'm missing in ars
i think i hear average player breathing heavily over there coming up with good combos
what weapon has it?
Lud AR. looks like a MK16?
yeah, the socom one
also the SMG taht 9mm converted or something?
Gotta wait like 4 months tho RIP
i think average player will be in a hospital for that long of heavy breathing?
A fun new exotic and an amazing new talent, looking good so far
How long into a season is the climax mission? 18 weeks or something?
Maybe I'll solo zoo if they don't nerf anything
YOOO
Do we know the core/attributes of that new exo mask?
which one? tinkerer?
ye
Should be crit
chc chd
Red core
nice
Cursed catharsis
Evil catharsis
hopefully the final visual will look decent, that new mask they showed on the BfB trailer looked so ugly
You could easily run 1 or 2 extra armor cores without a worry, that seems absurd
I mean if it's giving you 80% that's the same as 5 1/3 red cores.
yeah, that's why you could sacrifice 1 or 2 red cores for extra armor
It's just so much damage on a HH build.
also on a HF
Like it's good to be able to stack up easier I guess but that's just dumb numbers.
gives you extra survivability
I'll put it like this, it's an unreasonable amount of damage for the talents requirement.
they might reduce to 50% or smt, and the perfect might go to 60%
this talent with either the Tinkerer or Memento sounds op
You simply cant die
does nobody read the patch notes?
and there'll be no dmg loss
You could go full blue sniper with blood sucker and do basically the same damge as we currently do.
PTS for now, but yeah its a weapon talent
Full tank HF with the Memento sounds fun
or 50/50 when it comes to the cores
Gods, both this talent and the Tinkered opens so many doors for interesting builds
i did, but i didn't pay attention to the models
fair
Also it's gonna be in the climax mission so it's gonna be like what 4 months or so till we get it.
damn
Not sure if anyone saw this but Streamline doesn't work with Tinkerer
Probs just bugged.
Yeah probably. It wouldn't work as either the primary or secondary talent
But Lexington does work lol
yeah definitely
build i tested out with lexington as the primary#td2-build-advice message
known issue in patch notes
Ah ok thanks
thats alot of crit dmg xd
perfect streamline got into 1.4 million damage
i read somewhere that for headhunter builds dta applies twice? is it true? or dtooc still better?
It's true but DTTOOC is typically better for first shot.
Pretty sure it's explained in the build guide too
You want dttoc since the first/second shot is more important than max stack damage.
First shot counts so everyone just runs dttooc
well i just spent 4 hours farming for the harvest, and got one with dta, probably wont do that again
Even if DTA yields higher top end
told you it'd be a grind
yeah, but dedication to have a pistol build won
what were you doing to farm it?
Where regulus?
i cant aim shit)
as was adviced - at enter to dz south, there is a guy spawning
Sounds about right.
you just turn right and run along the wall of DZ south until your minimap lights up, and you should get it nearly every time
thats literally what i done
the amount of squirt guns i got is immesurable)
you throw them all into the expertise? XD
no, gonna do booster hive build and squirt teammates to have hazpro team)
I've been farming for harvest since it came out and I just got one with dtooc last night
Consider yourself lucky
I got DtooC first sight and DtooC handbasket before harvest
ha, i have dta cooler!))
do it mortar, post a video of your dtooc harvest for flockwood to see (> <)
the question is - can it reach 4ppl heroic threshold?
as i understand there is 2 routes - HF and HE
I think the damage might just fall short tbh.
dta or dtooc?
Just the harvest doing enough to do 4 man heroic full time.
ah so attributes don't matter in this case
Depending on team comp and buffs you have it might be a bit dodgy from time to time and idr what it'll hit full stacked.
you won't be able to one shot named but you can do on elites easily
right now for me it hits 18mil or a bit more
Vigi or?
vigi
Yeah so no vigi means possible drops.
idk 1886 is just so much better if you wanna cheesy determined build.
Harvest is still worth the grind just to have it tho.
I needed harvest for incursion
with streamline coming i need to farm a m44 with it
Technically I need another with the shock talent
@vestal ibex think determined + streamline will be meta?
WD probably works with the mask
Lexington does
They better nerf that shid down to a normal level.
like i'm even fine with a 30% only
80% is too damn much
normal streamline is 80% too XD
that's my take. like how many people would do Lud with a normal streamline together?
yes, but pistol aestetics are cooler
Idk man it doesn't get much cooler than a lever action
And you reload it like a competition shooter now too.
The dexterity to hold 8 rounds in your hand and load them in that fast is amazing.
Does anyone know what room has dogs at the start?
Unlikely
This the final measure thing? That's hilarious.
yep
All that 2.0 weapon balancing went out the window with streamline
didn't they mention something about weapon modifications in their BFB reveal video too?
But that cost of having no skills on cooldown, between that and the alphabridge mask no-one will ever use skills again
so true, think shield and chem launcher?
We have trick and method to do shotguns reload quick but leveler action with that small of a around isn't easy to do. I've only load a leveler once so I can't really say too much.
well, smart cover going to do away with that really
Depending on the lever action you can speed load them
We are gonna have HW smart cover builds for team stuff.
the precision DTOOC smartcover will have lonestar reloading (swap weapon magazine instantly fills)
I've had some practice quad loading shotguns it's kind of a pain in the ass
But a super secret sleeper agent should be able to no problem
i never heard of what you're talking about, but who knows i probably done it by accident but never paid enough attention to it
Reloading technique for tube fed shotguns
i'd be that one person where they see something charging at them to eat them
hands shaking dropping the extra bullets but managed to get 1 in chamber and shoots
You basically flip the gun upside down, and with 4 shells in one hand push a stack of 2 into the tube at one time
Oh Daddy
thanks i knew i saw something like that, but the movie didn't come to mind
They need to hire some 3 gun competitors to come in and do the reload animation I do agree bc the thing you talking about it awesome some people can load a shotgun in like a second
Yeah and some can aim like an aim bot.
to get a rise out of people, point out the extent to which John Wick action setpieces from 3 onwards are basically 3 gun courses with stuntmen standing in for targets
fun movies and still fun to watch them go at it, but once you notice you can never truly unsee it
i've only watched 2 i think?
pummel + brazen?
yes
or brazen + streamline?
100%
He learned those courses well
still might not solve everything once Tinkerer comes around
hmm, Pummel + Streamline is going to get nerfed real fast if it works
all that it needs otherwise would be whatever lag/packet loss issue I'm having that randomly drops Headhunter stacks because it "wasn't a headshot kill" to be fixed
Mmm showing normalize stats don’t work for streamline
Whats the damage increase on normal streamline
80%
Oh yeah thats getting nerfed to hell lmao
I hope it stays as at least one of the higher damage perks though
i still feel like thats high
as the average player idk the average buff value in this game to judge whether that's high or not
if you want survivability, yes
I'd recommend farming for very op or "just in case" builds like:
Hotshot, Oxy, Nego, OD, Mortar, a raid build...
Hotshot is pretty good for helping with leg
idk if Hunter's Fury is any good with leggie
all red HB would be great as it's survivability depends on stacking
I have no idea tbh, maybe a regular leg player will help more than me
playing around with a headshot heartbreaker build, any thought on what kneepads to run? i was debating fox prayer or just a providence for the extra headshot damage. just not sure if the rifle damage and dmg out of cover works out better. I dont have the providence piece yet so cant test in the range side by side
Depends solo and your team imo.
For this it's more a gameplay and skill play then the build itself.
Hotshot can do really good but then falls off when things don't have heads.
good to know
Eagle's Grasp imo.
interesting ill check it out
i take it for the handling?
ammo and handling
Bigger mag size is useful and the weapon is really nice for everything it does.
Tankier... What make something tankie to you in the game?
Base armor, bonus armor, PFE etc etc
I'd say keep playing. IMO if you can solo heroic without reviver hive that's when you're ready to do good work in Leggo
More solo leggo are done on full mostly red strikers
what the heck. Did he just get booted or he delete all of his post?
who
Only the mods know
idk he's gone now. Too many people are doing that these days.
I've a question is there have any overcharge skill tier build?
Can you try that again?
Is there any reason to have overcharge?
any build is an overcharge skill tier build with the Overdrive active modifier this season
more seriously you can but you seriously compromise yourself due to either requiring Energize or needing enough red cores to retain the weapon damage needed to secure kills with a Future Perfect weapon
Oh no sorry there is no reason, I asked cause they put overcharge option. But if I build with 6 skill based gear/brand item and take technician as special weapon it's giving me 7 skill tier as long as I understand but still if I visit my skill it's saying skill tier 6. That's why I asked that question. Besides that Tier 6 works like a fire.
6 Skill tier is all you need.
Overcharging can be useful, but isn't needed. Some skill builds need it.
Thanks for the answer, so there is way to push all through overcharge?
Over 6 skill tiers =/= overcharge
like I said, using the Overdrive active modifier or maxing out momentum is the most practical way for any build to overcharge this season
If not that ^^^ You need something that give you +1 that says it'll overcharge you if at 6 Skill Teir already.
Or another way to say 6 Skill Teir is max. You need a talent that'll force another +1 Skill Teir.
Thanks for more clarification. Thank you.
Like I said my build is already in tier 6 but technician specialized weapon saying it gives me 1+ skill tier so 6 Skill tier + 1 makes 7 but still in skill it's saying 6 skill tier not overcharge. Maybe my English not helping you guys to catch what I'm saying. But after work I'll post screenshot.
That's why I specifically mention Future Perfect on a weapon and Energize on a backpack - those talents do trigger overcharge if you're at skill tier 6 already
The extra skill tier from Technician or the KARD Custom does not trigger overcharge
Ahhhh, I see. Thank you
so just curious making my return to div2 whats the current meta builds weapon dps wise
Strikes still
next season might change a bit you think?
anyway i can make this build better? i have crit and headshot any and everywhere and i do 960k a shot and when my headhunter talent is on i do about 1m a hit anyway i can?
not sure if this is decent or if it can be better with first sight. can't thinkg of a good 2 talent combo
perfect rolled Habsburg pieces that allow you to change the core attribute to red is the only real way to improve on this
ive triedddd i farmed it for a whole week and couldn't get a perfect rolled habsburg
cause i also need it to have the head hunter talent
Well duh farming perfect habsburg is cancer
i knowww it suckss
oh yea i bet so
its just the same thing every single time
its like the game knows what you want and wont let you have it
Yeah
Literally just dont farm it and the game will give it to you
Got a double crit lengmo mask in summit from a cache
😭
offtopic how do i make this better for hunters? i want to get the mask before the seasons over but they just tear through me like butter
You have Scorpio?
Scorpio shreds and stun hunters, even in group play. Very ideal to have
mmmm ok ok i have it ill have to try it
im on the one where two spawn and i just get disintegrated
not with a sniper rifle. You can use Scorpio with this setup for a lot of headshot damage and the status effects
if it is the open world puzzles just drop global difficulty to Normal
thing is i am on normal my armor is just nothing and doesn't stop anything
Hunters will always melt you regardless of how much armor you have, yes
im newish to the division what do you mean burst damage?
damn the scorpio shreds through them
good thing habs is more worth it for PRO RAIDERS!
This guy
I'm using a pfe regen build for hunter with scorpio. You will shred them
I did it on solo on heroic
@fleet inlet
is it possible for a 1 shot build to work in legendary solo? or do you just need something else with like sustainability
with all the chungas, warhounds and drones I personally wouldnt but it definitely can work
yeah they seem to be my downfall, it's just hard finding a group tbh and i'm struggling to try and find any other decent builds that are as strong as my 1 shot build
Strikers 🤷♂️
It's possible
You won't be able to take down chunga in one hit. Train to two shot them while they are staggered by the helmet break.
In case you got more than one chunga, kill other to stack head hunter again
Lastly, you need a 100% handling hot shot build so you can head shot over your cover (so taking almost no damage). The other point is you can head shot the chunga until the helmet break if you can't stack head hunter
Looking for a good build surrounding the “Hunter killer” vest
Hunter's Fury with Memento or Adrenaline Rush, but the brand bonus really hurts Hunter Killer
I see
What brand best pairs with both Hunter killer and momento?
Run n gun is my play style
Hunter killer isn't great synergy with anything
I just want that proficiency dawg 😭
how many damage do you need to oneshot stuff on 4ppl heroic?
solo?
i mean with hh build
I understand that. I mean Solo Heroic or what?
