Title explains it. Currently their killpoints are still registered and likely are counted in the matchmaking.
Imo once they are inactive they have to be removed from the entire rankings. Not just power. This way a kingdoms statistics are represented more accuratelly.

Inactive players don’t count towards kvk. Or inactive as in someone that’s plays daily but doesn’t participate in kingdom stuff? So that would be nice to add with watch list or something and or vacation pass
