#Deadweights&the problem

Deadweights are probably one of the biggest problems in rise of kingdoms.

Why?

They destroy an accurate matchmaking based on real numbers. Therfor i suggest, that kings should have the FULL control about who to registrate for Matchmaking and who not with the beginning of season of conquest.

Another suggestion could be to have a possibility to migrate to a Server where u arent participating in KvKs. Means those who wanna play this game like crash of clans can do that.

The main point is: no matter if u are a deadweight a king or a normal player. This affects your game experience and its in your interest, that at least some change happens.

Therfor. These where only examples for possible solutions

Thank you

Good morning
Kings and whales are digital dictators on Rok. These poor dead weights are smart and talented, but they play very little, two or four hours. I'm a f2p, I play little to nothing. I'm a dw because I can't get achievements. Kings and whales always play 24 hours and 7 days with pilots.

I can't tell if this is ragebait or not

And the solution is not to mske the game less competitive

According to a recent Developer's feedback, If you consider what the developers said affects matchmaking, 'Deadweights' have a near zero influence on matchmaking. Find something else to blame for 'bad matchmaking'. What the developers should do is show the 'matchmaking rating' of every account so the leadership can have better data to determine who is a 'deadweight'.

Power literally doesnt count for matchmaking anymore. This is an obsolete issue.
Also the new domain system is good and if you have more deadweights in your KD than vacation tickets, that's really on you.

ok sure, it's still not an actual issue anymore

pulsar harness
#

Its not about a kd having deadweights or not. Its about people who dont wanna fight still be able to have fun and kingdoms that for whatever reason have many deadweights are able to find a proper Match up

#

Its a win win

loud obsidian
#

what? why does the matchup matter if youre not gonna fight anyway?
if you just wanna not fight, grab a vacation ticket and do what you want

Bro you are saying DWs are reason for inaccurate data for matchmaking right?

icy fog
#

how do pilots affect the matchmaking numbers?

#

like i get they're abig problem and what not but in this specific scenario how do they affect anything?

blazing sphinx
#

He is saying that DWs are reason that matchmaking can’t be accurate as they don’t fight to their capacity which leads to unreliable numbers. Right?

icy fog
#

he is saying that, yes, at least by what i understood

blazing sphinx
#

Ok so then it comes to inaccurate data right

#

Which is most influenced by pilots

#

As we all know that most a lot of accs do use pilots

#

That’s what’s make this whole argument of DWs making matchmaking very poor

#

Really weak

icy fog
#

that would be correct to an extent, pilots do bring unbalance to the game, because accounts can fight 24/7 against others that dont

#

but that comes down to MM being horrendous too

blazing sphinx
#

Let’s face it man if a lot of precious matchmaking especially were horrendous that’s cause of accs being online 24/7. especially big accs that don’t sleep. If they are played by their owner alone the matchmaking won’t look this bad or ‘horrendous’

#

So you can’t blame the accs that don’t have pilots for MM

icy fog
#

that was not where i was going, although its true it wasnt my point

#

pilots do influence MM but because also lilith lets, look at current 748s kvk for example, look at the strength of some KDs, some shouldnt be there

#

point is

#

matchmaking its pretty bad as it is, if what they said about MM being based off of account activity, then the metrics must be very wrong sometimes

pulsar harness
#

@blazing sphinx u got a point, but its off topic. Lol

#

Thats not the matter

blazing sphinx
blazing sphinx
#

That again influence matchmaking

icy fog
#

but thats my point, they pair mid kingdoms with fully piloted ones lol

blazing sphinx
#

So all on all it’s always manipulated data so you can’t really say that matchmaking is bad cause of DWs

icy fog
#

yeah i mean i agree DWs a lot of times dont have full fault for the MM but if fully piloted kingdoms are meeting mid kingdoms there's deffinitely something wrong w MM as it is

blazing sphinx
#

Again how you know which kd is mid piloted kingdom?

icy fog
#

brudda mid kd i mean D seeds

#

why are D seeds getting matched with an imperium

#

there is no way u can convince thats a normal thing due to pilots

#

if anything it would be more on my side, because the imperium gets piloted and has more people why are they meeting such lower seeds?

#

it cant be pilots, even if all accounts were to be on 24/7 which they arent, so they would be on the imperium, it makes no sense

blazing sphinx
#

But again we can’t pin it on DWs as this dude saying

icy fog
#

yes that i agree with u lol

pulsar harness
blazing sphinx
#

Again explain how they hurt MM?

Just tell them to donate their rss to fighters since they're not going to use them anyway and you can all move on with your lives.

I'd say in this context deadweight is whatever the kingdom considers as such, since it's their standards and their requirements, there is no "objective" term (although a dw is usually known as someone who doesn't contribute), but u can say a "deadweight" will depend on the requirements of the kingdom u find yourself in

loud obsidian
#

people also put an insane amount of effort into matchmaking when the reality is it makes zero difference to what kind of kvks they'll get into as a kingdom

icy fog
#

Somebody showed a vip support screenshot a few weeks ago in fleischs server saying it had been completely removed iirc

loud obsidian
#

even if it's not, there are zero KDs in the game where zeroing a half dozen fat deadweights will have any impact on what kvk they end up in

#

the reality is that deadweights are zeroed to get their rss for fighters, not because of matchmaking

Lilith does not use all ch 25. It all uses those that they consider active. (Which is more then logging in once in the past month). Also most matching info you see is comparison of lifetime stats. While recent kvk stats factor in
