The speed ups available for this event are too high and it makes having a younger account really painful. If a younger account was to spend for the same number of training speeds that you get from this event you’re talking multiple thousands of dollars.

To announce that there will be a spontaneous one in 3 days time right before zenith is completely unfair and a betrayal for young accounts who cannot benefit from the hundreds of days of speed ups that old accounts with the spare research and building speed ups to exchange get from this.

Do NOT run this spontaneous one man’s trash event. The idea to only run it between zeniths is fine. But start it after this one since players have not had time to plan and younger accounts will be profoundly disaffected.

You do realise zenith is a continent wide event, you will be facing accounts of a similar age if you're in a newer kingdom

Also, the event isn't gifting older players free speedups, they have to trade in speedups of other types (often for a lower value)

And migration exists. Young kingdoms do not face young accounts. Look at kingdoms like 3535

Zenith is not an event new f2p/low spender type accounts can or should be participating in

For research and building, which you accumulate over time that young accounts can’t do, and you’re tragically missing the points. I never said it’s geared towards F2P or low spend this is the opposite problem. Young account that drops 2000+ dollars on speed ups bundles is at at disadvantage vs older accounts that spent nothing on speed up bundles

Yeah, it’s just people with old accounts who want the advantage downvoting. Of course everyone wants the best thing for themselves, but it’s undeniable the advantage of unfair and dilutes the value of bundles purchased.

It’s not that unfair. Eventually because them adding it more it will balance itself whales will eventually run out of research and building speeds and push a zenith balancing their speeds tbh I think it’s good they make it come more than just in kvk. Either way lets be honest how many f2p/ low spenders push zenith anyway? Not many and typically ones that do are already in big kds regenerating speeds extremely fast. At least this way whales front load getting rid of all their speeds then have less to turn in in the future balancing them with everyone else

Yeah 100%, I spend a reasonable amount myself and the main reason I’m against it isn’t that I don’t think players should have an advantage for spending. But that in game events should not de-value spending, especially spontaneously announced events like this.

I agree but I don’t think they should have an unscheduled event like this announced 3 days before it’s due and coming 1 week before a sought after zenith skin. Not when this will allow only certain accounts to obtain a vast amount of speed ups while others would have to spend a significant amount of money to obtain them in the same time frame. It’s not the event I’m against it’s this last minute addition of an extra one right before zenith isn’t sensible or reasonable

I mean it’s a universal skin most regions will be 40-60m power gain if not more

They should have either announced it much earlier or implemented it after this zenith. Timing for the latter would work well given that some kingdoms will enter kvk just before zenith. And then anyone that enters thereafter will get the even at some point during their LK. But the way this has been handled has massively diluted the value of speed ups bundles purchased in the last month leading up to this zenith

I get it but personally I see it as a win attack is alright but now I get 400 more days to hoard for a universal health in the future😅

I mean there is the crux of it, for some accounts it’s seen as a cool + 400 days of speeds but for other accounts it’s 30 days or less of speeds. That difference is worth over 5m power gain which is a significant gap to fill announced 10 days before the zenith

In my opinion the event shouldnt exist at all should have changed the speeds on wheel and such forever ago and there would be no need for this but somehow people would also find a way to complain about that to. “You aren’t complaining I know” but you have been in the community long enough to know

Call of the ancients 3X gold chests is between 41-42 days of speeds for training. Pretty sure WM is in the same region of 40 days.

Announcing an event less than 2 weeks before zenith that allows only certain accounts to get short term speedup gain that requires others to spend ~3800 dollars is not right at all

But they can’t, only older accounts can max it. Those building and research speeds to exchange are only obtained over time through egg, wheel esme, and other events

I spend enough to 100/100/max spin egg, esme, dhalruk every time they come and do not have anywhere close to max this spontaneous event

The argument against that is no one told young account they have to go to older kds, or if they are still in a younger kd no one says you have to let older players into younger kds right? Game is about choices

If I had an extra 2-3 years of it sure it’d be easy, and yeah old accounts should be able to get the value from those speeds, but my main issue is announcing the unscheduled iteration of the event 2 weeks prior

They did give 2 week notice to decide hey this zenith isn’t for me attack is good but not $3800 good just hoard for something better, they technically aren’t under obligation to tell us at all they didn’t have to but they did could have done it earlier sure but at least they did at all

Whatever you belive the skin is worth that’s entirely your thoughts and hey you’re probably right. But to get short term speed up gain for training of 400 days, it would require ~3800 dollars in bundles purchased.

My favorite thing for my mentality is “piss poor planning makes for piss poor performance “ on an average week chaining barbs in hk I get between 30-40 days of training speeds, during kvk it’s almost double, you can prepare for awhile and not have to spend at all just takes a little effort and tbh with you cause at one point I was this way big spenders typically aren’t doing much chaining they rally forts to use ap and call it a day. You have advantages if you use them they just take some time

i mean I’m always chaining with whatever my AP allows, I zero my AP every kvk on chaining. Don’t have that much though since I never got to benefit from unlimited AP from forts. But still you’ve just said there that’s about 3 months of being highly actively and spending a large amount of AP in off season being given in very short notice based on account age

I usually have around 800 barbs a day unless there is fighting then more like 200

I have 32 farms so I don’t farm on my main, so I can 5 march chain barbs on my main 1 march chain on my alt/ farm it’s a siege account with a cav set as well and just farm with other farms

Also most of my chains are 5 barbs a piece sometimes have to do 3-4 barbs but almost always 5 or more

Point being though that’s a massive amount and in terms of the point. 400 days of speeds in such a short amount of time isn’t possible without massive massive spending

This is a lot more speedups.
The event certainly is insane value for old account, personally I'll get about 2000 days of free training speeds out of it over time. Consider it back pay.

Once the old accounts are out of speeds to trade though, the event really doesn't do a lot for anyone that isn't a kraken level whale.

I have no issue with old accounts being able to trade them in over time but it should be over time, my issue is running an unscheduled and unpredictable one a week before zenith with 3 days notice

If they announced it just after the archer zenith no issue, if they announced it now for after this zenith no problem. It’s just the last minuteness.
