Upvoted, It’s really weird how in COO leadership is overpowered, but in the field that’s just not the case.

On topic:
I made a video saying basically the same thing:
More commander like Phil that do different things based on the troop and less commander that require multi troop type.
And rework the talent tree as it is utter garbage

Active Skill – „The Fifth Legion“
Consumes 1000 Rage and unleashes a fan attack that hits up to 5 targets. Deals 2000 damage factor as AoE base damage plus additional 1500 fatal damage as concentrated single-target damage. After the attack, the commander gains a buff of +30% to his health for 3 seconds.

Damage Factor (AoE): 1500/1600/1700/1850/2000
Fatal Damage Factor (Single Target): 750/850/1000/1200/1500
Health Buff for Commander: 15/17/20/24/30

Passive Skill – „Words of Power“
Inspires up to 5 allied troops when they have lost at least 30% of their health. For every additional 20% of units lost, each troop gains 1 stack of Inspiration (max 3). Each Inspiration stack grants the inspired army +3% health, march speed, and attack.

For each Inspiration stack on allied armies, the commander’s army receives the following bonuses: +1% general damage reduction, increased single-target damage, increased rage generation per round, and an attack and defense drain on an enemy.

If no Inspiration is active, the commander receives a passive bonus of +40% health and +20% fatal damage.

Max Inspirable Troops: 1/2/3/4/5
Health: 20/24/29/34/40
Fatal Damage Buff (Passive): 5/8/11/15/20

Passive Skill – „The Lone Lion“
Every 6 seconds in battle, the commander gains +5% fatal damage, +15 rage, and +2% general damage (max 5 stacks).

When fighting alone, he additionally gains +30% health, +20% counterattack attack, and +2% rage per enemy (max 5 enemies).

When fighting with allies, instead he gains +30% defense, +20% attack, and +2% general damage per allied troop (max 5).

Health/Defense Value: 15/17/20/24/30
Counterattack Attack/Attack: 5/7/10/14/20
General Damage/Rage Bonus: 0/0.5/1/1.5/2

Passive Skill – „The Will of the Imperator“
When attacked by a field troop, there is a 10% chance to remove all negative effects. If no negative effects are present, the commander instead gains and deals 600 fatal damage.

Cooldown: 6 seconds (resets after activating the active skill)
Required troop loss to inspire: 10
Fatal Damage: 100/200/350/400/600
Inspiration Bonus: 30/25/20/15/10

Expertise – „Final Shout“
Maximum fatal damage factor: 2200
Rage limit: 180
Rage requirement: 800
For each inspired troop, the commander gains +30 Rage for 3 seconds. These Rage bonuses stack additively, with separate timers for each instance.
35% chance to gain +50% rage for 3 second (Cooldown 5 seconds)

Like a simple condensed explanation that sums up your idea in about 2-3 sentences
