The Golden Battlefield is almost no fun because of it's terrible matchmaking... I am currently in a kingdom that has entered Season 3 just 3 weeks ago. We do not have access to the rally or garrison commanders; we do not have access to ragnar prime or scipio prime. We aren't whales — this is a Top 2 alliance.

The matchmaking in Golden Battlefield should also take the KP, and if possible commanders, into account. Same as Kingdom Age. It just takes the sheer Matchmaking Rating and nothing else. It is impossible to play AOO when the matchmaking gives you, as a 200d old kingdom, enemies which have 5 full T5 meta marches and 800d old accounts.

It turns out that our Team 3 is playing against a kingdom that is 2000d old.

where I do agree to some extent BUT once you leave kvk 4 kingdom age doesnt matter since its open migration at that point. If you weigh kingdom age too much from that point people will move to younger kingdoms for easier match ups(just like a lot of fake whales used to do with kvk 2)

It's true yes; but for KvK3 atleast

In KvK 1 and 2 you are only matched up against K1 and K2 kingdoms. Same should be done for K3

#

the fact that you have access to SOC commanders, does not make your account equal at all to SOC players

couple of things to consider, A lot of younger/newer kingdoms tend to fill their kvk with 30+15 but then only field 20 players, those other 25 count towards your matchmaking power. Trust me I know they mess up matchmaking a lot but I do see this A LOT in younger kingdoms.

Some do yeah; but here we only register 30 to the point and not a single sub

yeah, but that is a large reason for A LOT of the bad matches for early kingdoms, but I have been there several times back in those days where we got so mismatched it wasnt even fun, couldnt even leave our area because matchmaking was so bad.

I would say kvk3 and kvk4, if you go kvk3 only they might have to eliminate times, but I dont know the stats on how many utilize which times which also plays a big factor

Yeah K3 - 4 would work aswell.. cause no back migration yet in KvK4

Yesterday our matchmaking was terrible too. They other team was triple of our KP. Not funny honestly

What a coincidence, my silver Ark team had triple the KP the other team had. We had a great time creepy_smile
