Like when the new Maya civilization released, we have another swap event and it allows you to get access to the newest commanders using gems.
Especially with the new commanders I feel this would be beneficial to keep one up for longer to be able to allow players to test and max out new commanders to be able to see what is best for battles.

As much as it would benefit every player I think it defeats a big part of the game. Giving everybody everything for basically free would make the game boring. They have already been making updates which give a lot to the players and for some reason people want even more.

Good point, but especially for F2P / Mid-Spenders, they do not have all the time to grind and get Gold Heads always, so a swap event would allow them to progress without breaking the bank.

You can't. If you add something for F2P a whale gets it as well. The issue is not that there isn't enough for F2P it's that they've consistently allowed players to buy larger and larger advantages, creating a bigger discrepancy over time.

for F2Ps you could only get 1 expertise swap and spenders could get 2

theyve already given everyone in the game 1400 free heads in the existing swap event, you dont need more free stuff.
