On Barbarian Fort Reward Adjustment

Hello Governors,
We would like to sincerely talk to you about our intention on the recent adjustment on the Barbarian Fort Reward.

Many Governors are concerned about the upcoming update of the "limit on Action Points in the Alliance treasure chests obtained by destroying barbarian forts." We would like to sincerely communicate with you about our intention for this update.

By destroying barbarian forts day in and day out, all Governors in the alliance gained nearly unlimited Action Points. While we are pleasantly surprised every time that we find Governors inventing new ways to play and having fun with them, this time, gradually, the ecosystem of the related activities involving action points started to get out of control.

For example, if Governors encounter a kingdom that uses this playstyle in the Pre-KvK Event, the opposing kingdom can only choose to employ the same playstyle to keep up with the other side. More kingdoms began to join this unhealthy competition, making the game's overall ecosystem change from ‘fun and tactical strategy’ to only must-be-done chores.

This design also gradually deviated from the original idea and became a hefty homework that the Governors had to do. Therefore, after numerous data analysis and testing, we decided to make this change after confirming that the vast majority of Governors receive less than 7,500 action points per week from destroying barbarian fortresses. Also, we would like to clarify that the '7500 action point limit' is only for the alliance barbarian chest. Active Governors can still obtain great rewards, including action points (with a higher chance) from barbarian fort hunting.

We would like to thank Governors for their feedback and suggestions on each change, and we hope that this message has clearly expressed our design ideas. Thank you for your support on Rise of Kingdoms.

**On Ironhand Baulur Kill Limit **

Greetings, Governors,

It has been five years since the launch of Rise of Kingdoms, and during this time, we have received valuable gameplay feedback from our governors. Recently, we've been focusing on optimizing our existing systems, including Barbarian Keeps and Barbarian Camps. We've observed some controversy surrounding the changes to Barbarian Camps, and we want to take this opportunity to provide an explanation.

The modifications were implemented with the understanding that Barbarian Camps are a shared resource. The intent was not to diminish the rewards for defeating Ironhand Baulur; in fact, we maintained the existing rewards and introduced Animal Bones as an additional reward.

In our examination of the Barbarian Camp feature, we discovered that a significant number of governors rarely or never had the opportunity to participate in defeating Ironhand Baulur, resulting in them being unable to claim any rewards. To address this, we introduced a daily kill limit for each governor, hoping to provide more opportunities for governors to defeat Ironhand Baulur and earn rewards.

Should you have any further questions, please feel free to discuss them in the community or reach out to our Customer Support team. We will continue to gather your feedback and reevaluate whether adjustments to this change are necessary.

Our intent was to allow more governors the chance to attack Barbarian Camps, but it seems like this change has significantly impacted the gameplay experience of many governors. As such, we've decided to heed your advice. On December 15 at 04:00 UTC+0, we'll be rolling back all changes made to Barbarian Camps in the last update for the time being.

During the Finals between 489 and 60GT on December 16th, there was a livestream caster incident that caused the delay to not function properly. We have decided to temporarily suspend the matches and communicate with the participating teams.

At the same time, we are urgently investigating the casting incident and expect to announce the specific results within 24 hours.

Once again, we would like to thank all the players for their dedication to this Grand Prix and express our gratitude to all the Governors for their attention and support of the event.

Dear Governor,

During the Finals between 489 and 60GT on December 16th, there was a livestream caster incident that caused the delay to not function properly, which resulted in the Finals being suspended.
Currently, the Grand Prix Team has conducted a detailed investigation into the situation. The findings and proposed solution directions are now announced as follows:

Investigation Findings:

1. 15:15 UTC: during the livestream of the second match between 489 and 60GT, the caster MrNaTV failed to set a 12-minute delay as required by the Grand Prix Team and instead streamed real-time match footage without delay.

2. 15:15 UTC, the Livestream Organizing Team noticed the caster's violation and attempted to contact him but was unable to reach him. They also did not report the incident to the Grand Prix Team in time.

3. 15:49 UTC: the Grand Prix Team received reports from Governors and quickly put forces to handle the situation by banning the caster's spectating account. At 16:11 UTC, the livestream was stopped.

4. After the end of the second match, both teams filed complaints about the caster failing to execute the delay. They expressed that the caster needed to be prohibited from continuing the livestream in order to proceed with the third match.

5. While waiting for a decision from the Grand Prix Team, both teams actively contacted us and expressed their willingness to start the match immediately.

6. After throughout discussions, the Grand Prix Team considered the possible impact of this incident on the overall fairness of the competition. We apologized to both teams and communicated whether they accepted the result of the second match. Both teams strongly expressed that the failing of executing the delay by the caster was unfair to the competition.

7. Considering the lengthy process of reviewing all the past livestream recordings and the potential impact on the performance on both teams in the third match based on the second match incident outcome, it would be unjust to proceed with the competition. Therefore, the Grand Prix Team informed both teams that the third match needed to be paused and an investigation would be conducted with the results announced within 24 hours.

8. On the 16th and 17th, we reviewed all 133 livestream recordings of this tournament. We have not yet found any other instances where the delay restriction was not applied.

Incident Response Plan:

1. A Livestream Organizing Team member was found negligent in fulfilling their responsibilities and not taking effective action to protect the fairness of the Tournament in a timely manner. Therefore, the Grand Prix team will impose strict punishment on the staff involved.

2. Caster MrNaTV violated the livestream regulations by failing to execute the delay during the livestream, which had a significant impact on the competition. Therefore, the Grand Prix Team has decided to immediately terminate their cooperation with the caster permanently.

3. The Grand Prix Team did not have an emergency plan in place for situations where the caster violates the livestreaming regulations, which resulted in a 40-minute delay in resolving the problem. We have urgently improved the relevant plan and in future Grand Prix, the caster will only be able to cast the matches through rebroadcasting official footages, ensuring that such situations do not occur again.

4. The Grand Prix Team's livestreaming setup process requires refinements to avoid potential issues. Currently, there is too much operational autonomy for the casters, leading to difficulties in executing the necessary delay. The Grand Prix Team will thoroughly investigate and take appropriate action against those responsible for the failure, ensuring improvements are made to the plan. As part of these improvements, the option to adjust the delay setting will no longer be available.

**Current Resolution: **

1. The second match between 60GT and 489 will maintain the original result. After a detailed comparison of the livestream recordings of the involved caster and the actual match situation of the two teams, the Grand Prix team has determined that this livestream incident did not affect the outcome of the match. Therefore, the victory of 60GT in this match will still be upheld. Currently, the BO3 score between 60GT and 489 is 1:1.

2. For the past 133 livestream VODs, we will conduct a second review process based on the starting time of the livestream backend data to ensure the accuracy of the current determination of no other incidents, and share the result in the next announcement.

3. Regarding the future updates on the tournament, the Grand Prix Team still needs time to discuss with the participating teams. Once there are results, we will announce them to the Governors. Therefore, the settlement of the "Grand Prix Betting" event, which has been affected, will also be announced to everyone at the same time.

The incident that occurred during this tournament were due to the negligence of the official Grand Prix team. We have let down the participating teams who worked hard to organize and play the matches for two months, the enthusiastic support of the community, and the hard work of the casters. We should have achieved a better and safer event organization, and we are truly ashamed that such a situation occurred. We sincerely apologize to all the Governors and we will learn from our mistakes, continuously improve the Grand Prix system, and strive to provide participants with a fair event experience. We also sincerely thank all the participants for their dedication to this competition and appreciate the interest and support of all Governors.

During the Finals between 60GT and 489 on December 16th, there was a livestream caster incident that caused the delay to not function properly, which resulted in the Finals being suspended.

The Grand Prix Team released an announcement regarding the livestream incident on December 18th without prior consultation with both teams to confirm their recognition of the facts, ignoring the fact that incomplete information could expose both teams to public opinion risks. The Grand Prix Team sincerely apologizes again to 60GT and 489 for this oversight.

Upon double reviewing of the incident, the Grand Prix Team identified mistakes we made during the handling of the incident, which were not clearly stated in the announcement on the 18th. This caused harm to the reputation and morale of both teams. And here is a timeline to clarify the facts:

In the later context，
*Individual Team Channel: The Discord channel where the Grand Prix Team communicates with an individual team.
*Finals' Channel: The Discord channel where the Grand Prix Team communicates with both teams together.

The Grand Prix Team asked both teams to register for the third match within 5 minutes.

60GT reported MrNA for livestreaming without delay.

In the Finals' Channel, both teams expressed their dissatisfaction and demanded that MrNa has to be banned before starting the match.
The Grand Prix Team was urgently discussing the influence of the incident at this point and did not respond to either side.

The match started, and both teams had already entered the match but couldn't send their troops out. The third match was canceled.

The Grand Prix Team informed teams that the fairness of the second match was in doubt and suspended the game, needing time to discuss how to deal with the incident.
489 & 60GT discovered that MrNa was still streaming, believing that the streamer hadn't been banned yet, and they protested again.
489 expressed that the first two games (the original words: "2 games") were unfair and asked to resume the third match quickly.
60GT stated that incident already happened, and that MrNa should be banned and the third match should be restarted immediately.

UTC 16:43
Determined to confirm that if both teams recognized the fairness of the second match, the Grand Prix Team began to ask both teams regarding their claims on fairness of the second match:
60GT stated no objection to the first two matches and asked to swiftly proceed to the third.
489 expressed the need to ban the streamer first; the Grand Prix Team informed that streamer has already been banned, and asked 489 again about their claims on fairness of the second match:
489 stated that they could not accept the result of "2 games" because the skill bar was shown and there was no delay during the stream.

UTC 16:50
The Grand Prix Team mistakenly assumed that the "2 games" referred to the first two matches, and asked 489 if they were advocating for a three-round ("BO3") rematch.
60GT expressed a preference for playing the last match straight away.
489 stated that the Grand Prix Team needed to make a definitive ruling on the outcome of the second match.
60GT asked if there was a delay during the first match, and 489 stated after checking the livestream of the first match, there was a 15-minute delay.
The Grand Prix Team confirmed that there was a delay during the first match.

UTC 16:53
However, due to the fact that the communication language was English, the Grand Prix Team misinterpreted 489's expression of "2 games" and mistakenly believed that 489 had doubts about the first two matches, and then asked if 489 was suggesting a three-round ("BO3") rematch.
489 mistook that the Grand Prix Team was referring to the third match and replied "17:00 UTC GO".
60GT asked for 5 minutes to immediately gather the team and get ready.

UTC 16:54
489 questioned why the Grand Prix Team kept asking about the third match instead of addressing the second match.
At this point, the Grand Prix Team realized there was a miscommunication and asked 489 if they wished to redo all three matches or just the second match. In response, 489 stated that only the second match had a problem, expressing that the first match was normal, and the second match was the one in question.
A heated argument between 60GT and 489 regarding the dispute over the first two matches started.

UTC 16:57
The Grand Prix Team, hoping to get a precise opinion on 489's claim on the second match, mistakenly chose to go to 489's Individual Team Channel to inquire about it.
489 expressed doubts about the second match.
The Grand Prix Team immediately began an internal discussion and did not respond in any group during that time.

UTC 17:17
In the 489 Individual Team Channel, 489 gave feedback to the Grand Prix Team that it was already 2:17am in Korea and wanted a quick reply from the Grand Prix Team. At this point, the Grand Prix Team was still in the middle of a tense discussion and did not respond to 489.

UTC 17:21
The Grand Prix Team informed that MrNa had been permanently removed from the spectator list and that his livestream of the first match had a delay. After gathering the claims of both sides for the second match and considering the time constraints of both teams, the Grand Prix Team suggested that both teams continue with the third match. The Grand Prix Team would arbitrate the dispute over the second match and announce the outcome after all matches have been completed.
489 and 60GT still held different views on this controversial incident.

UTC 17:21
In the 489 Individual Team Channel, 489 provided feedback to the Grand Prix Team, stating that it was too late to continue the third match.
After an internal discussion, the Grand Prix Team decided to adopt 489's proposal and suspended the game.
The reasons for this decision are as follows: firstly, the match had already exceeded the latest time slot provided by both teams prior to the Finals, and the Grand Prix Team mistakenly assumed that both teams would be tired and unable to continue. Secondly, determining the outcome of the second match would require a significant amount of time.

UTC 17:34
Without confirming with 60GT, the Grand Prix Team informed both teams in the Finals' Channel that due to the lateness of the time, 489 confirmed that they would not be able to play the third match. As a result, the Grand Prix Team decided to postpone that day's match, launch an investigation, and announce the decision within 24 hours.
60GT then expressed that they did not want to wait for 24 hours, protesting that the Grand Prix had been delayed for too long already and they would not be able to play next week. At this point, the Grand Prix Team was discussing plans for reviewing the incident and did not reply to 60GT.

The Grand Prix Team acknowledges several mistakes during this process:

1. Failed to act as impartial referees and make decisive judgments when the match result was in doubt. Instead, consulting both teams' opinions resulted in a loss of control in solving the problem.
2. Ignored requests from both teams to start the match promptly during communication and not providing timely information on the handling of the involved caster. The judgment was too slow, prolonging the waiting time for both teams and causing them to miss the best opportunity for a match.
3. Used incorrect communication methods with both teams, leading to numerous misunderstandings and conflicts.

In addition, thanks to both teams for providing real-time recordings of the games, which helped us further confirm the situation of the matches. No abnormal content that could affect the outcome of the matches was found. The Grand Prix Team rules that the current score between 60GT and 489 is 1:1.

The dispute arose during this Grand Prix, placing responsibility on the Grand Prix Team. We sincerely apologize once again to 60GT, 489, and all Governors. The Grand Prix Team commits to continuously improve the event system to provide participants with a fair and just tournament experience.

The controversy surrounding the Finals is caused by the lack of experience of the Grand Prix Team in hosting tournaments and the lack of sufficient contingency plans for unforeseen circumstances. We kindly request that all Governors view the suspension of the Finals rationally, and no team's reputation should be damaged by false accusations. We have noticed the false statements about this controversy on various social media platforms. Considering that it is a misunderstanding and conflict caused by the Grand Prix Team's mistakes, the Grand Prix Team will actively coordinate communication between the two teams to avoid further conflict escalation. We have already started deleting all comments and posts containing false information. We hope that all Governors will not make unconfirmed attacks against the two teams. If false statements persist (including but not limited to discriminating against, provoking, or abusing opponents), severe punishments, including possible disqualification from the competition, will be imposed.

Global Champions Grand Prix Finals Redo and Betting Compensation @here

On December 16th, the finals of the Global Champions Grand Prix between 60GT and 489 was suspended due to a livestream caster incident that caused the delay to not function properly.
This incident was caused by the lack of experience of the Grand Prix team. We apologize sincerely for the negative experience for the finalists and other participating teams. We have conducted a second round of review of all recordings of the 133 matches of this season. We reached the conclusion that all previous games were completed fairly and their results valid.

Based on such context, we have discussed with both teams and reached the agreement of re-conducting the finals of the Global Champions Grand Prix. Below is the detailed schedule:

All three games between 60GT and 489 will be re-conducted on January 13th, 2024.

Round 2: UTC 15:30
Round 3: UTC 17:00

We will also restart the in-game betting on January 8th. Governors can place bets regarding on the above matches. We planned the below compensations for the Grand Aurics consumption affected by the incident:

1. Before restarting the betting, the previously collected Grand Aurics will be reimbursed and put back into Governors' Inventory.
2. The Grand Aurics used on the suspended finals will be returned in double.

Our first test of the Rise of Kingdoms remaster has just ended, and we'd like to extend a sincere thank you to all the governors who took part. Whether positive or negative, the feedback you provided will be invaluable to us.

The remaster plan for RoK is a long-term, comprehensive upgrade plan focusing on three aspects: upgrading graphics, optimizing performance, and updating gameplay. In terms of effort and resources invested, it's our most ambitious development plan since the launch of the game. As such, the experiences and opinions of our governors will be of vital importance going forward.

In our first test of the world map graphics update, we received over 3000 replies from testers. We read and analyzed every one of them. The most frequent negative responses we received were that the map was too green or cartoony, that resource points were hard to recognize, and that model proportions were off. We'll be looking into these issues in-depth, and we can't wait to show you a smoother, deeper, and more engaging battlefield.

The remastered version of the Season of Conquest Heroic Anthem story is already available, and we'll have a lot more governors taking part this time. We look forward to hearing even more of your thoughts. Going forward, we'll update you on any developments or changes to our remaster plan via our official community accounts.

Feedback Survey: Lost Kingdom Domain Adjustments @everyone

Since launching the Lost Kingdom "domain" feature, we've had quite a few Governors comment that the current requirement for a kingdom to be split into domains (over 899 governors with level 25 City Halls) is too high for most Kingdoms.

As such, we're considering adjusting the requirement for enabling the domain system, but we'd like to first get our Governors' opinions on the matter.

Our preliminary plan is as follows:

• The requirement for a kingdom to be split into domains will be reduced to 500 active Governors with level 25 City Halls.
• The max number of slots for individual domains will be reduced from 800 to 450. In addition, the max number of extra automatically-assigned slots will be reduced from 99 to 50.

If you have any thoughts or suggestions on this matter, please share them via the survey link below. Please keep in mind that this is not a final decision, and we will carefully review all feedback before making any adjustments.

Rise of Kingdoms Remastered Announcement

Greetings Governors,
We can't thank you enough for all the love and support you've shown Rise of Kingdoms over the years. It's been years since our launch, and our game is still going strong, all thanks to each and every one of you. To keep the game thriving for many more years, we know we need to keep our visuals, performance, and gameplay up-to-date. That said, we also know that the most important thing is the experience of our governors, which is why we've decided to launch a Pioneer experience for Rise of Kingdoms Remastered. Thank you again for your support and participation!
After this latest round of testing, we carefully read and analyzed your comments. Most of the feedback we received focused on the following topics:

• Issues with the saturation and contrast of the kingdom map accounted for 49% of the feedback.
• Issues with coloring/color grading accounted for 32% of the feedback.
• The low recognizability of map buildings, primarily [Alliance Fortresses] and [Resource Points], accounted for 43% of the feedback.

To address these three issues, we plan on making the following changes:

1. Adjusting the saturation, contrast, coloring, and textures of the kingdom map.
2. Optimizing overall visual performance for a variety of hardware environments, allowing for better adaptation to different devices and display settings (e.g., brightness, color style, etc.).
3. Redesigning the [Alliance Fortress] and [Resource Point] models.

We will be launching another test of the above changes around mid-to-late August in newly opened kingdoms.

The intention of RoK Remastered is, and has always been, to improve your gaming experience. We look forward to hearing your opinions once again, and we'll use your feedback to create a enhanced, smoother, and more exciting RoK. We sincerely hope that this new version of the remaster will live up to your expectations.

1. In the first 25 rounds, a commander’s voice will be played in the Discord Stage Channel.
2. In the next 25 rounds, hints about commanders, such as their skills, titles, civilizations, or troop types, will be provided through text in the Discord Stage Channel.
3. Commanders in the Quiz will show up no more than once.
4. The first participant to provide the correct answer will receive 1,000 gems, 8hr Training Speedup x 1, 8hr Speedup x 1, LVL 6 Tome of Knowledge x 10.
5. Each participant can win up to 3 times. We will mark the winner's answer with “✅ ” before moving to the next round of guessing.

6. Valid answers should include:

1. Commanders' FULL NAME, i.e the exact name as shown in game
2. Your GOVERNOR ID - make sure to prepare your ID before the event
   ***Abbreviations or typos will not be counted as correct. **

For the sake of balance, we'll be making some adjustments to the "Stocking Up" battlefield skill in Ark of Osiris:

Before Adjustment: While this skill is active, for every 3 provisions your team gathers from Caravans and delivers (up to 1500 provisions), your team will gain 0.3% of an Energy Bar. Lasts for 600 seconds. Cooldown: 600 seconds.
After Adjustment: While this skill is active, for every 3 provisions your team gathers from Caravans and delivers (up to 1500 provisions), your team will gain 0.15% of an Energy Bar. Lasts for 600 seconds. Cooldown: 900 seconds.

These adjustments will be implemented before the next Ark of Osiris event.

Osiris League Battlefield Skill Adjustments

Greetings Governor,
To create a more fair and balanced competitive environment, we'll be adjusting and adding several battlefield skills for this season's Osiris League Playoffs.

1. Adjusted the "Stocking Up" Skill:
Before Adjustment: While this skill is active, for every 3 provisions your team gathers from Caravans and delivers (up to 1500 provisions), your team will gain 0.3% of an Energy Bar. Lasts for 600 seconds. Cooldown: 600 seconds.
After Adjustment: While this skill is active, for every 3 provisions your team gathers from Caravans and delivers (up to 1500 provisions), your team will gain 0.15% of an Energy Bar. Lasts for 600 seconds. Cooldown: 900 seconds.
2. Added 4 New Battlefield Skills:

• Inferno: After a delay, sets the area around one of your troops aflame. At regular intervals, half of the troops in the inferno (regardless of team, chosen at random) lose units.
• Time Warp: Resets the cooldown for all of your team's battlefield skills. Your next battlefield skill costs fewer Energy Bars to use.
• Sunsailer: Summons two solar barques to the battlefield. Troops from either team can move into a solar barque to teleport to the other one and gain a March Speed bonus.
• Nomarch: While this skill is active, it takes less time for your team to capture buildings and your team earns more team points from occupying them. In addition, allied troops will deal more damage when attacking buildings and take less damage when garrisoning them.

Refer to the in-game tooltips for the latest version of these skills.
These skill adjustments will take effect at the start of the Osiris League Playoffs.

• Network Connection Errors: Third party tools may disrupt regular network communication channels, leading to login and character loading errors, as well as severe delays and lags.

The RoK team would like to use this opportunity to remind all governors to not use any third party tools for the safety of your account, and to change your account password as soon as possible if you are at risk.

Conversion Support Event Notice

Dear Governors, @everyone

Due to a server issue, the progress of the “Conversion Support” event was unexpectedly reset on 2026/03/25. The event has now been temporarily closed.

We are urgently working on a fix and expect to complete it and reopen the event within this week. Once restarted, your event progress will be restored. Actions taken during the downtime will also be counted toward progress, but any duplicate rewards obtained will be deducted accordingly.

To minimize the impact of this issue, we will make the following adjustments:

• The event duration will be extended by 1 day;
• Event progress will no longer reset at 00:00 daily during the event period.

Adjustments to Wedge Formation II & Related Systems

Greetings Governor, @everyone

Following the launch of the new Wedge Formation II and related events, we have received lots of feedback and valuable suggestions across all of our communities, and we'd like to thank every Governor who has shared their thoughts.

We are aware that certain elements of the current design have caused frustration for some Governors during gameplay. In response to the core issues raised by the community, our team immediately launched an internal review and has decided to implement systematic improvements to Wedge Formation II and its related systems. The current adjustment plan at this stage is as follows:

1. Improve Conversion Mechanics
We recognize that the current design requires the simultaneous conversion of 4 Armaments for the new formation to express its full potential on the battlefield, placing an overwhelming burden on all Governors at once. Moving forward, we plan to improve this mechanic to enable more flexible and cheaper conversions, allowing all Governors to proceed at their own pace.
2. Increase Conversion Stone Availability
In order to further reduce the progression burden, we will provide more avenues to obtain Conversion Stones while also boosting the drop rate for Conversion Stones during daily gameplay, as well as within events.

To ensure that these adjustments actually address the real concerns of Governors, the improvement process will proceed as follows:
Once our initial improvement plan is finalized, we will invite a representative sample of Governors at various stages of progression to participate in a focus group, then incorporate all of their feedback to further refine the improvements. The final adjustments will be revealed in a "Face-to-Face With the Developers" session or an official community announcement, followed by an accelerated launch schedule.

We will provide regular updates on our progress via official announcements.

The same as always, our mission remains to build RoK into a fairer, more engaging and enduring game world—and we look forward to continuing this journey with you all, our Governors.

Conversion Stones: Clarifications on Recent Changes

@everyone Hey everyone, we've seen a number of suggestions and feedback regarding Conversion Stones following the recent announcement on adjustments to Wedge Formation II and related systems(#📢〡announcements message), including some very detailed calculations. We truly appreciate all the thoughts and concerns shared by the community.
Based on the key topics raised over the past few weeks, and our dev team would like to provide the following clarifications:

1. Regarding the 7.14% probability shown in Dispatch
The 7.14% currently displayed in Dispatch refers to the probability that a reward will include Conversion Stone Fragments as a reward type. It does not mean that only 1 fragment will be obtained each time it appears.
In practice, when Conversion Stone Fragments appear, the quantity is randomized within a certain range and is not fixed at 1. Therefore, calculating the annual yield based on “1 fragment per drop” will significantly underestimate the actual long-term expected value.
That said, we recognize that the current Dispatch interface does not clearly display the exact quantity of fragments, which can easily lead to misunderstandings. We will optimize this display as soon as possible so that players can more clearly see the number of fragments included in rewards.

2. Whether the overall supply has been reduced
Using State Forum Level 25 with 8 Dispatches per day as a reference, the expected annual amount of Conversion Stone Fragments under the current configuration is NOT approximately 209 fragments / 21 stones (like how some players calculated), but higher than that figure. Our overall target is to keep it roughly consistent with the baseline acquisition level of the previous system.
We also understand that Dispatch is a probability-based system, and individual players may experience results above or below the expected value in the short term. Going forward, we will continue monitoring the actual distribution across players with different activity levels, rather than relying solely on server-wide averages. If we observe that acquisition pressure is significantly higher than expected, we will make adjustments accordingly.

3. Whether this affects Legendary Armament drop rates
Conversion Stone Fragments do not reduce the drop rate of Legendary Armaments.
The probabilities related to Legendary Armaments in Dispatch remain unchanged before and after this adjustment.
Conversion Stone Fragments mainly affect other reward pools and do not reduce players’ chances of obtaining Legendary Armaments through Dispatch.

4. Additional acquisition channels
We’ve received a range of suggestions around expanding access to Conversion Stone Fragments, including:
-Adding them to PvE modes such as Realm of Mystique
-Including them in the Courier Station’s Ordinary Store as limited exchanges
-Providing more stable, periodic acquisition methods
We will continue evaluating these options based on in-game data and future update pacing.

5. Future Formation release schedule
For Formation updates, we are currently following the plan shared in previous developer face-to-face.
We will provide clearer information in future announcements regarding formation release timing, Conversion Stone distribution planning, and whether conversion costs between formations of the same type need further optimization, so players can make progression decisions with greater certainty.

Greetings Governors!

We plan to release Version 1.07: The Lost Temple early next month (September).
This update will take approximately 2 hours.

1. New Game Feature: The Lost Temple
   This update will open up the highest-level holy site on the map, The Lost Temple, which is located at the center of each kingdom. Governors must rally their alliances, defeat the bosses, and capture the Temple. The alliance leader of whichever alliance succeeds will be crowned King and be written down in the kingdom’s history.
   The King will enjoy the following privileges:

• Distribute trophies to worthy governors
• Purchase boost items to benefit the entire kingdom
• Assign 13 “Governor Titles” which will carry buff or debuff effects and will be displayed above the bearer’s city

2. More convenient group battle system
   Recently we have received feedback from governors saying that the current battle system makes organization difficult. As a result, this update will include features to improve coordination during group battles:

• Alliance officers can leave alliance markers on the map and add messages to help alliance members keep track of alliance events.
• Allies’ battle information will be displayed in real time on the map
• Battle reports can now be shared in alliance channels to facilitate communication

Rise of Civilizations is a relatively new game, and every new project has hardships in the beginning. However, thanks to your support and feedback, the game is growing with each passing day, more players are joining the game, more and more contributors are creating great content on YouTube, and more strategy guides are being written by the community.
As you've probably seen, we are addressing issues like bots and cheaters very seriously, we have a weekly Anti-Botting Report where we disclose all the recently banned accounts.
We are also listening to the community feedback and are adding more and more features to the game with each new update. Features that have been requested by you guys (Hint: online status) are currently being developed by the devs and will make their way to the game soon enough. More civilizations and new commanders (double hint: Disney made a famous movie about her and he fought against the crusaders) will be added in the near future.
We know some people experienced issues with mail before the update and we apologize for the inconvenience caused. We are currently updating the game and it should help solve some of the problems people have experienced in the last couple of days.
We also know that some governors complained that the Customer Support is a bit slow in responding to issues. I can honestly vouch for the Customer Support and tell you that they are doing their best to provide the best service they can and help every governor individually, but since they are people and not robots (AI revolution is not here yet unfortunately) sometimes they need to sleep too. 😃
Lastly, as RoC grows, with your help and support, it will become a better game and will provide a better experience for everyone.

Hi Govs @everyone

When we updated the game to version 1.0.11 last week we did a few adjustments and improvements to the game's engine and overall graphics in order to make the game look better and run smoother on iOS devices.
However, these graphical improvements have created a situation where the game is temporarily unable to run on iOS devices that have less than 2GB RAM, hence causing the game to crash/lag/unable to log in. This is the reason for the issue in most cases.
Another small amount of affected cases are iOS devices that do have more than 2GB of RAM, but are crashing and unable to run the game properly or experiencing network connectivity problems due to incomplete code which we hastily implemented in order to fix the previous issue.

We have already started to prepare a solution and a comprehensive update which should fix the issue for most cases.
A comprehensive compensation will follow. We estimate the fix will go online on Thursday, Nov 22.

Again, we apologize for this inconvenience.
We have certainly learned a lot from it and we will continue to work even harder to prevent something similar from happening in the future.

Get your notepads out for this round of competition will be Design your own commander! Participants will be judged not by the commander chosen but the creativity of the skills created for said commander along with the names for these skills. Only a single submission by each participant will be taken into account, any following submissions after the first one will not qualify for the competition.

In order for your submission to qualify, you must adhere to the guidelines below along with the correct format and post your design in the #🥇〡giveaways channel. Any other message besides from a submission in the said channel may result in being disqualified or banned. 🔨

Deadline to participate will be 21:00 UTC on 07/04/19.

The winner will receive 1k gems alongside a few other goodies.

You must choose a historical character of the appropriate timeline (17th century and before as a rule of thumb) that is currently not featured in-game. The commander you submit will have to have one active skill (first skill), three passive skills (second, third and fourth skills), one expertise skill (fifth skill, only commanders of epic and legendary rarity will be accepted), rarity (epic or legendary) and the three talent tree paths that he or she will have. Exact numbers are not necessary to include and will not be assessed as such an X can be placed as a placeholder. If you choose to include any numbers keep them appropriate (use common sense).

Talents: Leadership, Conquering and Attack

Skill 1 (Active) - Skill Description

Skill 2 (Passive) - Skill Description

Skill 3 (Passive) - Skill Description

Do note this is just a guideline example, the brackets of the type of skill are just there as a reminder for participants and are not mandatory. All skills will have to be named and cannot have a placeholder of just "Skill 1"

Make sure that the skills are relevant to the talent aspects that the commander has and vice versa. For example, if your commander has a skill that provides a bonus only to cavalry, he must have cavalry and if he has a bonus benefit when attacking cities he must have seige. Failure to comply with this will lead to your submission being disqualified.

Dear Governors,

Since the global launch of Rise of Kingdoms in September 2018, we have added several new content creators to our Community Program. In order to support these content creators in their work we have provided them with in-game compensation and special access to new content.

A well-known Rise of Kingdoms content creator, LegendRhony, has recently been engaged in a big war in Kingdom 16. In the course of this war, he requested extra resources and items, and we agreed to this request.

We now realize the severity of our actions. Our support of LegendRhony in this war has negatively affected the gaming experience for many other governors and has created an unfair and unbalanced situation in Kingdom 16. We deeply apologize for that.

Moving forward, we have decided to take the following actions in order to remedy the situation:

1. Beginning today, we will no longer provide any in-game compensation (resources, speedups, sculptures etc.) to our Community Program content creators or any other YouTubers. Instead, content creators will be provided with monetary compensation for their time and effort.

2. Any governor who has been attacked by, sustained damage from or lost troops to a Community Program content creator can apply for compensation by sending an email to the following email address: [e-mail].
   In your email please specify the following information:

• Governor ID
• Kingdom number
• The losses you sustained

3. Legend Rhony's title and leadership of alliance will be transferred to another player. His account will then be deactivated.

@here So, it has been an eventful weekend, to say the least. Allow me to add some clarification on the developments happening, there have been meetings and talks outside of the usual working hours due to the severity of this incident. There are still on-going discussions and considerations being made as to what measures to be taken next and with it being a weekend outside of normal hours has caused delays.

There remain to be two standout issues that to be put briefly are:

1 - How deep the rabbit hole goes in terms of whenever other incidents have occurred and transparency/communication not only specifically in that regard but in general

2 - The refunding system and issues revolving around it being reported.

As for today's activity here, the 30min slow mode timer was not an action I agree with nor was I alert about it. I believe its meaning was well-intentioned in order to establish a sense of order but moving forward we do not wish to replicate that in the future. Some people may have been kicked or temporarily banned by the bot or others, for those who have been affected permanently we will shortly review cases to see if there is an appeal for clemency. In order to avoid being banned or receiving some sort of penalty, follow these guidelines in addition to the #🚪〡welcome․rules

• Do not post more than one image within a message

• Do not do identical messages back to back repeatedly, be involved in talks - you are not a bot

• No threatening or abusive messages especially when using the Contributors tag will be banned immediately

In the meantime, some of you may be wondering...

Continue giving your input in the appropriate channels and also tell people in your Kingdom as well as fellow alliance members to join our discord server along with other communities at useful links in order to gain a wide range of feedback and for them to be kept up to date with the latest developments.

Hopefully, together we can confront and resolve the obstacles ahead of us moving forward and refocus on improving in-game mechanics. We all share the same goal in wanting the best for this game so to coin a certain phrase - Make Rise of Kingdoms Great Again. 😉

Greetings Governors,

As part of ensuring the game is 100% fair for all players, we've contacted the content creators involved in the Community Program and explained we will need to take back the in-game items we sent them.
When we first launched the content creators program the idea behind free in-game items was to allow content creators to create better content for the community.

We made the mistake of overstepping that boundary when we agreed to help one of the content creators with an in-game situation he faced which caused losses to some of the governors within his kingdom.
We have reflected on our mistake and would like to offer our sincere apologies to the governors who got affected by it and to the rest of the community for hiding it.

We'd like to clarify that not all content creators crossed that line. the vast majority made sure to utilize these items the way they were intended - to create entertaining and informative content.
As such, the content creators we reached out to have agreed the best step forward is for us to take their in game items, even though they weren't involved in any wrong doing towards the community.
With the exception of one content creator no other content creator requested extra privileges in order to fight others or engage in widescale wars in their respective kingdoms.

We also requested from the content creators not to make statements yet as we resolve this situation.
We will keep you updated as the situation is resolved and the Community Program is back on track.

As we've stated in a previous announcement, we will no longer provide any in-game items (resources, speedups, sculptures etc.) to our Community Program content creators.

Due to some irregularities with the Osiris League registration, we have taken the Osiris League event offline for now. We are working as hard and fast as we can to resolve this issue, and wish to apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Because our Alliance registration data was archived up to August 7, 2019 22:20 UTC, please be sure to verify that your registration status is correct! We will extend the registration period to August 10, 2019 0:00 UTC. The Osiris League start time of August 11, 2019 will not be affected.

We are also working to resolve the issues with incorrectly distributed Osiris Coins and Compensation Chests, which will be resolved in the future.

On 21 September 2019 Rise of Kingdoms marks its one-year anniversary. To celebrate our upcoming one-year anniversary we have a special event planned where governors can win unique prizes! For this event, we want to emphasize our diverse community and call out every governor to celebrate together with us!

Dear Governor,

Due to network issues on 9/22 14:00 UTC a total of 7 Osiris League matches suffered from connectivity issues, in which we have decided not to grant a rematch. The two other Osiris League matches that weren’t able to take place at all will be rescheduled.

As this is the first time we have organized an Osiris League tournament, we realized that we were heavily unprepared in organizing this tournament and therefore several problems have occurred such as network instability causing some governors unable to watch or enter the game leading to this situation which we take sole responsibility for.

Since there were no rules and regulations to properly determine the conditions of a potential rematch, we decided to adopt a fair communication method and listened to the input of all the affected alliances and the community. We were hoping to find a consensus and make the right decision through communication. After communicating for 24 hours we realized that no consensus or agreement could be made with the affected alliances.

We have decided to respect the outcome and not provide any rematches. The 7 Osiris League matches will not be replayed and the items that both teams used will be compensated. At the same time, an additional compensation will be given to make up for the preparations made by all the affected governors.

The other two Osiris League matches will take place at 9/29 9:00 UTC
The second round of the group stage will be postponed by a week.

We strive to learn from our mistakes and will implement several changes to optimize our servers and clearly communicating a set of tournament rules and regulations to ensure the fairness of the competitive scene. We would like to thank all the governors for their understanding on this matter as we learn and improve. Thank you for your support

Before the update version 1041, we received feedback from several governors that the process to get in-game equipment is very long and at the same time it's difficult to obtain equipment materials, so initially in this version update, we added equipment materials to Kingdom Supply Chests and Barbarians during the Eve of Expedition stage. Since we added equipment materials as loot, this particular adjustment affected the drop rate of other items available in the Kingdom Supply Chest and Barbarian to a certain extent.

After the adjustment went live, we observed the player feedback as well as online data and found that the adjustment did not meet our expectations, so we will be further adjusting the kingdom supply chests and barbarian drops in kvk.

The specific adjustments are as followed:
"Kingdom Supply Chests": Only the universal speed-ups will be retained in the kingdom supply chest, the drop rate of total speed-ups amount has been increased, at the same time, we also increased the probability of obtaining leather, iron ore, ebony, and reduced the probability of obtaining animal bones.
"Barbarians": Increased the probability of getting Leather, Iron Ore and Ebony after defeating the barbarians during kvk and increased the total number of equipment material drops.

At the same time, for governors who used Kingdom Supply Chests between when the update went live and now, will be receiving a compensation based on the amount of Kingdom Supply Chests used during this time.

First and foremost, I want to thank you for being a part of the RoK Community and voicing out your thoughtful suggestions. We understand there are some frustrations and confusion within the Community, so I want to take this chance to address a few things for the sake of clarification.

Second, we are always thankful and delighted to see all the enthusiastic content creators who produce ROK content. As there are many amazing content creators, we set up a program where we continuously evaluate the overall performance and compensate selected individuals with monetary payments for their efforts. It's still an on-going process where we evaluate both current and potential RoK content creators to collaborate with and just as before will continue to do so.

Announcement on Season of Conquest Adjustments

Dear Governors, Since the launch of the Season of Conquest, we have received a lot of feedback and suggestions from Governors on crystals, map design, season length, etc. We have had a lot of discussions about these feedbacks, and we have decided to make significant adjustments to the Season of Conquest in order to bring you a better gaming experience. Until the new adjustments go live, we will temporarily close the registration for the Season of Conquest, but the seasons that are already in progress will not be affected. This adjustment is expected to go live in early March.
Whether you are experiencing Season of Conquest for the first time or coming back for another round, the Season of Conquest will have been adjusted after registration.

Adjustments include:

1. Redesign the Crystal research system. We will significantly reduce the combat buff effects from crystal research in order to balance the difference in combat values between Governors.
2. Make crystals more available for Governors by increasing more ways to obtain them.
3. Reduce the time required to upgrade Crystal Factory and Crystal Research. Also, we will be adding more “Season Quests".
   This will help Governors to obtain speedups as rewards upon completing the quests. The Season of Conquest is a brand new attempt. We will adjust it according to the actual situation, and we will communicate with Governors before adjusting it.

Dear Governor,

Since the update announcement, we have carefully observed the feedback and ratings for the "Summer Chapter" and found that 73% of the governors objected the following change.
"A daily cap on the quantity of resources that can be received through Resource Assistance and Plundering at 200,000,000 for each (400,000,000 in total)."

We take suggestions of the governors very seriously, so after careful discussion and evaluation, we have decided to.

1. Remove resource assistance and looting limits that were proposed in this update earlier.
2. Also we will retain the "25% increase in resource point deposits for all levels of resource points on the map (except gem and alliance mines) and a 10% increase in the base gathering speed of troops." This change was made to increase the percentage of resources that the governors can actively obtain.

Greetings Governor,

We have been receiving a lot of questions regarding the Museum buffs in the Osiris League. To clarify, the museum buffs are in the effect in the Osiris League within the Season of Conquest.

However, due to different locations in the Realm of Sobek (which consists of all Kingdoms from Kingdom #2233 onward), some kingdoms may enter the Conquest Season in the middle of the Osiris League. In order to ensure fairness in league tournaments, we will be limiting the buffs provided by the Museum in the Realm of Sobek: no buffs provided by the Museum will take effect in league tournaments.

In other Realms such as Horus, Anubis and Bastet the museum buffs will take an effect in the Osiris League. In addition, the Museum event will open tomorrow across all the kingdoms within the Season of Conquest.

We recently implemented a new audit system to tag accounts with suspicious activities and abnormal transactions, which are subjected to be manually audited.

We would like to reassure you, the system is designed to target those who farm illegal resources using bots, cheats, or third party applications.
