Archers with thutmose-ysg is the strongest kvk1 march, but any decent commander(even sun tzu) with expertise ysg is going to perform well in k1. Once you get to k3 both QSH-ysg and STP-LC are incredible and based on your rate of expertising, you will be able to get the infantry march if you so choose

Thutmose, if you pair him with Yi-Song-Gye that's the best early game archer pairing, but requires some spend

You want to try and pair commander of the same troop type together, and run only that troops type in the march. It sounds like you are very very early game so you probably don't have a full march of each troop type

So just focussing on peacekeeping commanders for barbarians, and gathering commanders for resources is your best option at the moment

Pyrrhus-ysg don't really go together. Investing in pyrrhus and planning to go pyrrhus-cj in k2 is a good idea, but use pyrrhus-sun in k1 if that's the case
