If you're gonna get your city hit and it's staged and you're good with it, nearly anything will suffice, Martel will do better than the rest if he uses garrison build tho, slap Sunn tzu behind and call it a day for that. For anything else, be it a swarm, a rally or such in KvK bubble and don't take it, you don't have the capabilities to get a good garrison and nor do most players to be fair so it's alright. I know I've said this 3 other times but it's 5 AM and I really just want my message to get across. Don't take a serious swarm or rally, f2ps aren't meant to do that

What is a "Basic attack"? how does a basic attack and a skilled attack differ?
When reading the Gameplay Guide in settings, it doesn't explain where i can find the basic attack and what a skilled attack is compared to basic attacks.

A basic attack is the white numbers, every time u attack something, a skilled attack is an active skill

okay. basic attack is attack damage per second. skill attack is from the active skill. Skill damage is any damage caused from all skills. is this correct?

Yeah alright no im not. Skill damage is one type of damage, I'd guess skilled damage refers to damage from skills, not skill damage as per se

i see.i guess i'm just confused about the basic attack and where it comes from. I understand skill attack/ skill damage. just not where i can find a commanders basic attack.

Well u can't

U can see the damage factor and all for the skill damage but the basic attack will vary

Depends on your gear on your tech on your commanders skill, talent tree, etc, and on whatever it is that you're hitting

oh okay. that's what i need. perfect. White numbers popping up per sec is basic attack. red is skill damage(Direct and additional). okay. makes sense.

Thing is calling it skill damage is wrong theorically since some damages get buffed by other things that aren't specifically skill damage so the term is kinda wrong, better to word it as it coming from the skills

i see. skill damage is not exclusive to the damage indicated on the active skill but rather damage caused by the active skill + gear, ect.

Yes but the point is that skill damage is one type of damage buffed by buffs to skill damage, other damages caused by skills are buffed by normal damage for example
