Typically there is a ark planner that tells you what you should be doing in the match. If there isn't one yet you basically just take structures under your control for your alliance to generate points and there is a timer on the top left for the ark spawn which is for the middle which you need to escort to a structure that you control already, you need to keep in mind also. Whichever team has the higher points at the end of the match wins.

There's a tutorial for AoO you can do that basically teaches you the gist of it if you didn't do that already.

And there’s been way more quality of life changes

But in the general aspect, yes this game is still pay to win vastly so don’t expect anything different in terms of facing spenders in KvK, AoO, OL.

You’ll never beat someone who has V awaken crit gears and all proper armaments with inscriptions and someone who is a spender will always progress their accounts faster for commanders and equipment than someone who doesn’t (this aspect will never change otherwise RoK won’t make any money if the general public can be like the spenders easily).
