its just such a random and specific question. generally as a ftp in the beginning you wont get into those immediate whale alliances that have all the gc, so theres no way to know. generally sleeping is better, but its up to you. id go with 10 days of progress personally but if you can get into a gc alliance and then manage to stay there then that would probably be better.

alternate between t3 and t4 everyday, whatever lets you get at least 1 full stack of troops every day, and then upgrade those troops for pre-kvk or mge or w/e you want. Train as much as you want in those events, and whatever is left you upgrade for training bastion quests. If you have them, you can use 50k training expansions before pre-kvk to get 156k troops trained basically for free if you time in right
