Working on an incremental game based on plinko, I cant decide between these two types of boards. The square one offers more opportunity for upgrades but looks worse imo, however the triangle one looks better but would have less useability. The grey circles would be possible spawn points for plinko chips
Any thoughts would be great.

i agree with what you said, seems the triangle wouldnt really work all that well. How do you plan on handling those that go off screen or those empty sides?

Not sure might add a bumper type that puts them guaranteed left / right back into play
