Id agree with you if were talking text channels but thats a forum channel which will most likely not result in more spam. + yall could just make it level 15+ and im pretty sure level 15s wouldnt really spam it

A forum post can't be a poll very effectively, nor can you start a post with a poll, so are you asking about the ability to just send a poll in any forum post in that channel?

When i made the suggestion i thought you could do it as the starting message but that doesnt work thanks to discord. Being able to post polls whereever in #1130415980191944734 would kinda make my original idea work though even if its in a more clunky way

i dont hate this idea but then the poll will just be shot to the top as people continue to message in the channel for example

Could be remedied with a bot-monitored variant, i.e. auto-created form channels with a poll posted in them that are locked, but i feel that takes away from some other parts of the conversation as well.
