As a youtuber myself who is in the partner program, I think I'd be able to answer this. Youtubers make money off of ads, and what I think is happening is that people still watch Dani's old videos. When ever someone sees an ad on your video, no matter how frequent your uploads are you will get money for it. I make a few thousand every month, and I'm not as relevant as Dani, even now with his uploads stopped. He rakes in multiple million views, on multiple videos at the same time, so it makes sense that Dani would be making a lot of money. I know for sure, that he is more than financially stable.
